Passing through, wanted pizza. Caution: pizza has a Cinnamon sweet crust and they give you frosting for the crust. Don't recommend unless you want to try a sweet crust for $20 and up. Picked up a slice and everything fell off. Cheese was rubbery, dough felt a bit undercooked and the ham seemed like deli ham just placed on the pizza. I couldn't eat more than a slice. Wings were boneless and not bad, would prefer the breaded wings over the pizza. If your looking for NY, Chicago, California, or Detroit type Pizza, don't recommend this pizza.

The last time we were here was 2013 with our kids, on the way home from Yellowstone. We just happened upon this place then, but the pizza was so good that my husband and I stopped here again on our way back from another road trip. We waited 1.5 hours for it to open, and I ended up having a great chat with the owner while we waited for our order. What makes this pizza so amazing is the non-traditional dough and the cinnamon crust which you dip in the side of frosting. IT'S SO GOOD! Murdo is a small town, and this place was an unexpected find that will always keep us coming back!

June 5th 2022. The family rates the pizza a 7/10. We had a garlic cheese pie and a meat lovers pizza. Staff was super friendly and we had fast service. Pizza crust has cinnamon on it and they give you icing to put on it. So you always get dessert with your meal.

After spending many hours on the road The innkeeper suggested I get pizza at this place I am Italian from Little Italy in New York I have tried every type of pizza and I have to say this was the most confusing pizza and not what I expected.. why would I want cinnamon on my pizza and sugar dip with my pizza? If you cut out all the crust at Manchester Pizza it was not too bad but if you threw the crust in it was not good. I wasted twenty bux and their coffee was worse

After 10 hours on the road, we were referred to this establishment by the hotel we were staying as this and Subway were the only places open on Sunday evening. There were 4 full tables, and upon ordering we were told it was take out only and it would be 40 minutes until our pizza was ready. While waiting, a table became available and we began clearing it so that we could sit down and enjoy our pizza. The “lady” (I’m being nice here) abruptly stated OUR pizzas were take out only and that they could barely keep up. Keep up with what?? - there are only 4 tables!! We finally got our pizza, walked back to the hotel to eat it, and it was less than desirable. They boast about a cinnamon crust that serves as dessert when dipped in their “special” sauce, which is nothing more than powdered sugar and water. Whoever has left good reviews here for this place must have encountered a different person at the restaurant. She was extremely rude several times to a couple of us in our group, to put it mildly. If I could have, I would have taken the $5 tip off the total. If I hadn’t already paid, I would have walked out. My suggestion is to bypass this place at all costs and eat a nasty cold cut sandwich from subway…would have been better than this place.

This is the kind of pizza that you will either love or hate, if you don't mind having a little bit of sweet to go with your savory, then you will like this place. So basically their pizza is normal except for the crust on the end which has cinnamon sugary stuff mixed in with it, then they give you a bottle of liquid icing to go ahead and slather on the top to finish it off. Personally I am a savory salty fan and not much so of the sugar end of the spectrum, so it was far from my favorite. I would much rather have a cheese stuffed crust with a side of marinara to dip it in with. But each to their own. But really the main reason why we stopped, because it was the closest restaurant to our Tesla supercharger while we were on our way home.

Well I've never been down the business loop so I decided to find food down that way, I loved the looks of prairie pizza very excited just by looking at it. They had a friendly dog outside. But the service was snappy and the lady DID NOT tell us there were raisins in the crust? Thought it was ranch in the box turned out to be cinnamon frosting? The crust was not a pizza crust wish I was told all this when I purchased it. My potato wedges were not done and soaked in garlic.Wish the pizza was soaked in garlic. Very off put about the raisin crust:(. Sorry but won't go back.

This is a must-stop for my family when we pass through South Dakota. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, and satisfying pizza. The first time through we were a bit baffled by the cinnamon-studded dessert crust, but we've come to embrace its charm.

Pizza was fantastic. The cinnamon and sugar crust and icing were delightful. The only downfall was trying to decide if I eat the crust after each slice or save the crusts for the end. Will definitely stop again.

Right next to the tesla charging area. A delicious place to stop! Locally owned with friendly service. The pizza is delicious. We liked the added touch of the little cinnamon sprinkle on the edge crust. A sweet treat at the end. We will stop again! We did not try it, but there is gluten-free crust available.

Definitely An Acquired Taste. 🤔The Pizza has a Cinnamon Sugar Crust. I thought it was awful.. The Crust was way too thin and soggy.. The Dip Sauce for the Crust was too thin also and didn't taste well.. The Pizza 🍕 was so full of Grease.. I MEAN GREASY. LOOK AT PICTURES 📷 The Pizza flavor was alright. But not hardly any sauce and falling apart. This was my first time eating here. Not a good first impression 😕

So here's the deal. I stopped in without reading any reviews (which I prefer to do, if I read a bunch of negative comments it'll bias my opinion one way or another even if its pity stars because the waitress was nice but the food was hot trash) and we were the first people in at 5 pm right when they opened so I figured she was just frazzled or something but now I see it's a ongoing trend lol 😆 I had to say HI as we were in there for a bit with uncomfortable silence which was returned warmly. She was SLAMMED within the first 15 mins she was open and solo handling it all like a pro. Was she Robin Williams friendly? No but she wasn't old man from up either. Im extremely personable but in those conditions I'd be stressed too.Now to the food... We ordered just a basic pep pizza expecting such and man were we in for a surprise. When we got our pie after about 20-25 mins (pretty dang good for everything she was doing! 🙌👍💪) I set it down on the table and opened it with a slap in the face smell of cinnamon. Now mind you I had someone serve me Cincinnati chili with any warning and man I was not a happy camper lol 😆 the entire pie smelled of cinnamon and after inspection I saw it was the crust braided into a desert. Wasn't excited but after eating it I have to say it was pretty dang good! They should definitely offer both, normal and cinnamon crust but it was something different and the kids loved it.

My husband and I came in at 5 o'clock and ordered pizza to eat there. It was a nice little walk through town to get there. We actually parked at the truckstop down the road and enjoyed the walk. We ordered pepperoni and pineapple pizza. For everyone that keeps talking about the owner not being kind to traveling people.... Get over it. 🙄 Not everybody is going to be extremely bubbly. She wasn't rude at all and even shared with us the story about how the idea came about for the cinnamon crust. We enjoyed our pizza there and we enjoyed that it was quiet and it was very clean. She said thank you to us she let us eat and didn't bother us she just asked how things were. Obviously, they want traveling people to come there that's how they make money! She was running the place by herself when we were there and the phone was ringing and other people ended up coming to pick up pizza so she was very busy. I rather have a place that's clean have a good pizza and have someone that's going to thank us, then not have a good pizza, have a dirty place, with someone that just wants to sit down and chitchat. We hope to go back again. To the owner, " Thank you for awesome pizza with cinnamon crust!!" 😊

Very good and very unique. It a place that will stick in your memory forever. The cinnamon in the crust will catch you off guard, but then you enjoy the new flavor! Comes with a dessert glaze to dip your pizza bones, finishing off a sort of cinnamon bun experience. If we ever pass that way again, I would definitely repeat.

Great tasting pizza! Ordered the meat lovers and wasn’t let down at all! Generous toppings, plenty of cheese and a perfect crust! All for a good price. Honestly I can say the same pizza elsewhere would of cost a lot more! Stopped in unexpectedly and ordered to go. Waited for about 15-20 minutes but again definitely worth the wait for all that you get!

So cinnamon and sugar on the crust.. that was as weird as i have ever heard and not something i am open to trying. With that said, they let me do a crust with no sweet add ons and i chose the Cattle Baron no olives, pepperoni, or pineapple. The cheese had a little browning on top which i would usually not like, but it works with this pizza... So much cheese on top of the toppings. It held together nicely and was not soggy like i have seen others say. The ladies working were friendly and helpful.. i would go back next time i stay in town...

Stopped here while traveling and the pizza was a delightful change of pace. The bottom of the crust was a little thin, but good. The sauce was great there was plenty of cheese. Then comes the rolled crust edge with a twist. It was explained that the crust is rolled with a dusting of cinnamon sugar and they serve a little container of icing to dip the crust in. I'm not an icing fan so I had it plain. It's not too sweet or overwhelming. My husband really liked it. Pizza and dessert in one. Clever idea and well done.

Pizza was disgustingly greasy. I couldn’t even pick up a slice to eat. They also put cinnamon on the crust, assuming I want dessert. Due to the greasiness, my slice was destroyed trying to pick it up. The result was a cinnamon sugar ham pizza! Absolutely disgusting! What’s more disgusting is that there is a dog residing in the building where they make and serve food. I watched an employee or owner walk the dog out of a back room and tie him to a tree unattended. Hopefully he doesn’t bite a customer trying to eat on their picnic tables. Don’t even get me started on the parking. A few crooked spaces crammed together with barely room to drive by.

We were traveling on 90 and couldn't find anywhere to eat... everywhere closed at 8pm on a Saturday. We finally came across Prairie Pizza and boy were our expectations blown away! Great service, great pizza and a great seating area to enjoy your meal outside!! Highly recommend!
