Love this place. Visiting my parents and stopped here for some light breakfast and shopping.First the food area has a ton of choices and you order and they bring it out to your table. The have a little seating area and feels like a little cafe. Great idea. Also can order some Caribou Coffee and relax and eat.The store is well laid out and also a nice large liquor section as well. Will be back.

At 9 am today, December 15th I was trying to shop and I couldn't even access one aisle. There was a UBoat, about 3-4 employees working in the aisle. It was completely impassable.The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the great customer service at the self checkout..

New to Mitchell. I come from a small town in Southeast SD and this store is very, very similar to the layout of my hometown grocery store. Has the same products and everything. I love going here to remind me of home. I prefer to go here instead of Walmart. They do a fabulous job of having items on the shelf and pulled forward. Very friendly staff to help you out compared to Walmart. I will probably make this my grocery store knowing that they have the same stuff as back home.

Food is always fresh and the produce and meat department are the best in town! Skip saving a few dollars with the big corporate store in town (Wally world) and shop here instead!

Love shopping at County Fair. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. They really give you that small town feel and one of the few places I know of anymore that still has staff cart groceries out to your vehicle. Great customer service 👍. I highly recommend doing your grocery shopping here!!

County Fair is one of three grocery stores in town. I find it the easiest to shop at. The prices are generally cheaper than the other two. This store has a good produce section although not what you'd find in a big city. They have their own butcher shop and bakery. They have a good deli section and also a restaurant which is heavily patronized especially by locals. They carry both gluten-free and organic products. You can find both a Lewis Drug and a Caribou Coffee inside the store. They are open 24/7 however do closed for Christmas and Thanksgiving. The staff is friendly and helpful and not hard to find. Like most stores these days they have a loyalty program and they give out cards that you can use to get a discount off gas.

Best grocery store in town. As they say friendly faces and they mean it. Any questions i have or problems that arise its always handled quickly, professionally, and by someone who looks like they truly enjoy their job. Prices are very comparable to other stores as well. Been shopping here for years and will continue to return. Just an after thought - try their Maple Bacon Doughnuts they are to die for.....

Pricing is generally at or below other places in town. Cafe is awesome for lunch, either made to order or precooked. Liquor department is large and well stocked. Rarely does not have what I'm looking for. Self service Lanes are quick and in working order with a cashier ready at all times

They have an amazing deli selection and good liquor section. If you shop there regularly you'll find delicious items stocked at no other store. Their staff and attention to detail makes this 24 hour store a place you'll make a regular shopping experience.

It is a decent place to have a meal. They have a nice salad bar and also a buffet with hot items at an all-you-can-eat price of around $12. the hot items are only available at certain times of the day, possibly 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. . Call for more precise times. Nothing fancy about the atmosphere. It is in a grocery store, but it is clean.

Excellent service! Awesome selection in the liquor department, especially bourbon! If you can't find it, Dan's your man! Meat department offers quality cuts, and it's the only place in town you'll find a Chuck Eye Steak, get 'em when you can!

We were passing through town and stopped in here for a light snack. We were quite delighted to find a restaurant inside--a full salad bar with hot items, and grilled burgers. This was an even better meal than we had planned and was a nice surprise. The food was good and the dining area was pleasant. Prices are reasonable, too!

I was so excited to go here! But they were so rude when I tried to buy alcohol with my temp ID because I was getting a new one. They scanned it and said it worked but the manager came up and said that it didn't and I'm not allowed to use it. I wanted to understand but they were so rude that I just left. Never going here again

This place is hit n miss.... Ive had good and bad experiences... Not to impressed with the manager Jason. I had bought a large supply of liquor for a planned gathering. When I found out once home that said event was cancelled.. I called in to ask about return policy with receipt but Jason simply dismissed my request with a plain "No" without ANY explanation... So maybe a no refunds on liquor sign ANYWHERE would help.

Excellent catering service!! The bakery and deli workers are like no other in town!! I had lots of silly questions and they were so professional about everything and made me feel confident in my decisions! So impressed!! And the food was exactly what I wanted. Delicious!!! Thank you!!!

The Country Fair Food Store has an excellent selection of different foods. The employees are friendly and the store is clean. Many of the prices are better - meaning lower - at this store as well then their competitor's prices.

I shop here all the time. I just love that place. The people are great. They say hi all the time. Always have a smile and they welcome you here. If U have any questions they always answer u. This is a vert friendly place to come and shop. I will always go back.

I have a compromised immune system therefore I asked two employees who were checking me out to pull their masks up over their nose and both of them refused. Then I realized over half of all the employees were not wearing their mask correctly either. I spoke with the manager who just sighted the fact that the state of South Dakota doesn't require it so therefore they were okay. This is not okay in my opinion they should be mandatory for all customers and workers in any sort of food business, therefore I will take my business someplace else like Coborn's to take that a little bit more seriously. So if you're like me I have a compromised immune system I highly suggest you to to shop elsewhere.

Excellent selection! I go there for the top notch produce, but I stay for the Nordic yogurt and cheese. The products are usually a bit more expensive than at Walmart, but so worth it.

they so not REALLY wear masks only wear them under nose which does nothing to protect you from getting covid if you arde smart and take Covid zeriosly ...not one of those in denial....yhen take your business to Coborns where they are incompliance and take their employees and your safety seriously...not empressed and will definately be back!

The deli everything is old the Mac and cheese is drying out the only thing that looked slightly fresh was the chicken breast I really hope that they can fix this
