The bad:- Convenient location once you find it. There were no big signs on the building that gave any indication of a restaurant so I almost pulled out. There was, however a little sign on the front door. I did, however see a "Ditty's" sign up on the tall interstate sign when I was leaving.- The parking lot is in terrible shape and poorly lit.- I'm not terribly picky when it comes to cleanliness, but despite only 1 table being occupied, most of the empty tables needed a cleaning. I had to request a cleaning of one of the booths.- I stopped here primarily due to the fact that reviews stated the breakfast was served all day. However, the single-page little menu said nothing about the availability of breakfast.The OK:- The food. It was just OK. Ordered a cheddar bacon cheeseburger. The burger patties were just some run of the mill frozen patties. The bacon was cooked nicely. The cheese was obviously thrown on while putting the burger together is was not melted at all.The Good:- Waitress was very nice and pretty attentive despite the fact that she was there by herself and running the tables and the bar. She was running to keep up once 4 other small groups came in after I sat down.- Onion rings were very good.I might give them a shot if I come through during breakfast hours next time but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to stop here. The 5 star reviews certainly fooled me.

This has been my only means of sustenance due to being broken down, my truck next door at Overweg. The atmosphere is very kind, friendly, and welcoming. I’ve had the same server for the last several days, Lori, and she is a very warm and kind person. I never knew this place existed, but any time I get through going forward, I will make a point to pop in. The food is great, the drinks are even better.

I liked this place. Food was very good, server was very friendly and sweet. For a stop to have a break from driving this is a good spot. Lots of room for trucks. New style pumps for diesel fuel, and price is good. (Parking lot gets muddy when wet).

Stopped on our way to mount Rushmore. Did not expect a diner to be in the gas station along with a bar and a casino. Food was good waitress was very pleasant. Local all said good morning. Welcoming little place.

It’s a diner/bar in the back of a gas station but the food is surprisingly good and the waitress was super sweet. I had never heard of Chislic before (cooked chunks of beef- apparently a regional specialty) but wow that was tasty! Onion rings and fries were good. Fried pickle chips were significantly above average. Pulled pork baked potato was good but not amazing. My kid’s chicken strips were not super hot but generously sized and the kids liked them. Hamburger was thick and juicy and disappeared in record time. Surprisingly good food, especially for the location.

The Waitresses were nice. $6.72 for a cup of soup to go. Yes I know they called it a bowl. The amazing part is the the gentleman that I was standing next to ordering my food had a bowl of chili. His bowl of chili was smaller than my cup of My soup to go. When he found out it was the same price as my soup; He pushed it away from himself, stood up and said I'm not paying for that. You can have it back and then walked out the door without paying. I paid because I do not want to have to stop again.

Cozy diner and bar. Serves breakfast all day! I had pancakes, eggs and bacon for breakfast. My pancake was huge and everything tasted delicious. Ordered a ribeye, baked potato and veggies to go and the smell is just amazing! My waitress was super sweet! Everything was clean. If I am ever in the area again, I won’t hesitate to stop and support again! Thanks! ❤️

Stopped here for an emergency dinner while passing through SD in some crazy weather--found Ditty's by chance. This place is an absolute gem! I'll probably shoot to stop here every time I pass through SD, if I get the chance. The brisket sandwich is juicy, tender, and flavorful, and the baked potato with pulled pork is absolutely killer. The serving staff is friendly and helpful. I loved every second I was here.

We were in the middle of a very long road trip and needed to find somewhere to have a late dinner. Ditty's was open so we have it a try. We split a ribeye steak dinner and it was amazingly good. The salad was crispy and fresh and the baked potatoes were heavenly. The place is a small dinner at the back of a gas station convenience store, but the food makes it worth the visit. If I lived here I'd be eating here all the time.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way through SD. I had a ham and cheese omelet with hashbrowns. The omelet was fluffy and stuffed with tons of tender ham and cheese and the hashbrowns crispy. My husband had a cheeseburger and onion rings which he declared were delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food came out really fast.Its just a clean little hole-in-the-wall place in the back of a gas station but we thought it was the best food we've had on our trip. Don't hesitate to stop in to Ditty's!

What can I say other than great food and great service. Stopped in on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed.Has breakfast with both bacon and sausage 🐷🐷. Cooked perfectly.Don't let the outside put you off, plenty of parking albeit a lite rough but will be back for sure.

Nice waitress. Awesome food! smoked brisket burger is the best thing you can get there 😋. Ham and cheese omelet was also good 👍. I haven't had that good of onion rings in a long time.😊

This is a small but a nice , CLEAN friendly restaurant. They have semi truck parking in the back. It is joined with a convenience store.

I thought I was just gonna get gas and noticed this little bitty restaurant in the back and I'm glad I did. The breakfast was incredible especially the biscuits and gravy. Prices are really inexpensive. There was just one waitress but you'd never know it. Also one thing important to me is the coffee was the best. Try it you'll be happy.

Clean, friendly and fast! Waitress was super nice and on top of making sure we were doing good. We had the prime rib dip and it was delicious! We also had their cheese curds and those were good too! Would definitely recommend stopping here!
