Super clean and modern veterinary clinic and boarding. We boarded our animals for a longer trip we took. We also had a check-up on our pets, some dental work, shots, etc. Very professional and caring staff. The only item that needs to be addressed is animal bedding. We provided an indie bed for our small dogs. Being in a new place for a longer stay, the bedding did get soiled with some urine. Probably just our pets being nervous. They said they didn't have a washer and dryer there? I find this strange and not realistic. We washed the bed in our standard washer and dryer in no time. I believe this dog bedding could have easily been washed and put back in the kennel very easily. However, overall, one of the best veterinarian and boarding places around.

Hands down the best place to bring your pets anywhere around the Black Hills and surrounding area. The vets and staff genuinely care about your pets, go above and beyond for the best outcome, and are always willing to provide the best care whether it’s a routine visit or emergency. I make a commute to them every time I need something for my pets, even with other vets much closer, because of the high trust I have in them. I recommend Fall River to anyone and everyone.

My boyfriend and I took his 6 year old German shepherd here for slight paralysis in his legs. They didn’t have any appointments open but took us in. They were incredibly reassuring and informative. Came up with viable and affordable solutions to get back up on his feet. Never taking him anywhere else. Would highly recommend.

Can’t say enough! Dustin was caring, in constant contact and genuine. I highly recommend and will always take my dogs to them. Sadie had a collapsed lung and 25% chance of surviving. We prayed and Dustin did his work. She’s coming home ❤️

They have a great kennel service, and a very nice and friendly staff, however, I highly recommend you get all kennel reservations in writing. We made a reservation for Thanksgiving, and verified the reservation in June and July, and just called to confirm once again and were told that they do not have that reservation and they are full. Make sure to get confirmation via email or some other written correspondence. Do not trust the staff to make or keep the reservation.

We have been clients with our hairy,four-legged daughter (dog). The staff are very friendly and treat us as we are family. We get reminders for our pet on shots, physical, etc.. I am grateful for having Fall River Veterinary Clinic as our Veterinarian. Thank you

On a cross county RV trip, my 7 year old pug had a recurrent UTI after 10 days antibiotic treatment from our home vet in California~but she was hurting and needed help fast! They made time in their busy schedule to treat her and get us back on the road that day.Dolly says, "thanks again!"

I took my cat here for an emergency visit as he was not walking properly and was yowling in pain. Dr Dustin did a cursory exam and decided that the cat had a blood clot that was causing partial paralysis in his hind legs. That is a serious condition with a dire prognosis. The Dr did no blood tests and didn't even listen to the cat's heart. I had to request that he take x-rays to rule out injury. He said the results were negative.I took the cat to my regular vet the next day and she did a thorough exam. Turns out my cat has a broken pelvis and no indication of a blood clot. Fall River Vet would not even share their exam notes or x-rays with my vet. What does that tell you. I was blown off.

We needed to board our dog for the day so we could explore Wind Cave National Park. The facility is very clean, the staff very pleasant and you can tell they love dogs.Our dog had her own 4’ by 8’ area and they walked her a couple of times. Definitely recommend!

My dog needed an emergency visit and I was seen immediately! The staff were very kind, and answered any and all questions that I had. They were very transparent with the cost and seemed very confident in their ability, which made leaving my dog very easy. He was in good hands and I was frequently updated with phone calls. Highly recommend! Great care!

We unfortunately had to euthanize our family dog while on a cross country road trip on a Saturday evening. The staff was compassionate, accommodating and kind. We are grateful for their help in easing her suffering.

I just want to give a big hug and thank you to the Dr who just operated on my Dad's dog, Maddie. She's a labradoodle who's almost entirely a poodle, very sweet girl, means so much to Dad. So this was a high risk surgery to remove stones from her bladder and she's an older dog but she's doing fantastic. Of course we highly recommend, thanks for saving our girl ❤

Our puppy was having some health issues, was not acting like herself and appeared to have a seizure on a Sunday evening. Fall River Veterinary Clinic was so very helpful in seeing our CJ in an emergency. The technician was gentle and loving towards our pup, explained everything she was doing and why, and provided excellent care from our car to prevent the spread of illness. I can't thank you enough for your the excellent care, instructions and suggestions. I am happy to report after receiving meds, fluids and a good nights rest, CJ is getting back to her normal playful self. Thank you!

I have a very large animal family and some are older and have more health challenges, so I spend a LOT of time at our Vet clinic. I am ALWAYS impressed with how thorough and understanding and patient every staff member is. Our amazing Vet duo takes so much time to answer my questions and explain things so I understand. Our techs are so sweet, skilled, and comforting to our animals in their care of them. Our receptionist is an office goddess because seriously she amazes me getting my supply orders together and keeping track of all our appointments and various needs.As I said, I spend a lot of time at our clinic and I overhear a lot of interaction. I am astounded by some of the people that call or walk in and how rude they can be to our Vet staff. And I am always impressed at how professional the staff responds and still tries to help. Our amazing Vet clinic staff keeps their professionalism despite all the massive amount of appointments and constant emergencies that is a DAILY reality for them.We love Fall River Vet and consider them to be part of our family. We couldn't be the best pet parents without them! We would never go anywhere else. They are compassionate, always go WAY above and beyond, and are extremely knowledgeable and honest. I've shown up on their doorstep with some pretty crazy stuff over the last 14 years and they get us all fixed up. When the hard times come, they are right there to help our loved ones too and do it with the most love and compassion I've ever seen. Can't say enough about how much we love ALL the staff here!

I don't care what others say but this is the best vet my dogs have been to in 30 years. Every time I call they work me into the schedule and take care of my animals. They do not try to UPSALE services to get money and will tell you the truth. My puppy ate some glass and they got me in instantly and took care of her and did what was needed.The caring I have seen in the waiting room from the front staff is impeccable. I always feel welcome and not like a number so please give them a chance!

Kayla, Dustin and the whole team at Fall River are top notch. They are so awesome that we will drive back from our not-so-close to SD location for their services. They genuinely care about you and your animals and will go out of their way to help. One of our pets does not like any vet and can be a handful which makes vet visits more challenging for all of us but they handle him gracefully which makes me feel better about taking him to the vet. If you’re anywhere near the Black Hills, or just want great vets and are willing to drive, I highly recommend these guys!

This place is wonderful! Our poor Boston Terrier was struck by a car and hurt. They took such great care of him. They were really there for us when we needed them. Highly recommend.

We needed a place to board our two dogs since we were visiting wind cave where pets aren't allowed. It was easy to make an appointment, just make sure you have up to date vaccine records with you. Price is reasonable compared to other places we have been to. They have outdoor and indoor kennel, which is great because one of our dog has eyes problem that makes her sensitive to bright light. The wait time for drop off and pick up is short.

Our dog is in love with the place and I am too. They give us great information and the vet is easy to talk to. The staff is very caring. No one wants you to leave until you understand everything that's going on with your pet. Would have rated them ten stars if I could.
