Was in this store today. Bought packages of vegetable seeds and watermelon seeds. Got to register and was told I owed cash for them. I told cashier you can buy seeds or plants that produce food items on EBT. She called another lady over and she just told me we don't have any control of how prices are put in. I told her yes you do you people put the prices in the computer. Wouldn't let me get them and told her they need to read the EBT manual.Plus they discriminate against people who are on disability. In the past I've tried several times to apply for a job with them. Each time manager told me we don't have a job you can do and told me I remember you when you've applied for a job with us before.So they wouldnt hire me each time I put application in.

It was refreshing when used to places like Walmart where you bag your own stuff and check yourself out. Yeah we not only had a cashier at the store that was very friendly there was even a guy that offered to carry the groceries to the car for us no that's classy.. Walmart you could learn a few things.

Would have given the 5 stars but they don't take American Express. My small town store in Salem even takes amex! Probably won't shop there again any time soon

I love my local family owned grocery store! Friendly staff, nice flower arrangements, new produce fridge, great selection if meats, liquor and a wide variety of beers! Thank you for all you do, including being amazing community leaders!!

The customer service is excellent and they have everything you need. The prices are a little higher than Sioux falls but you pay for the convenience. Very handy

They have fresh food , VERY CLEAN, nice setup, new coolers /fridges(?) helpful workers. Too busy at certain times ...that's a positive though...ok prices...fir this size of a town, we are blessed to have this grocery store.

I love going to Sunshine Foods you can find things there you can't at other stores.... I like it better than Walmart... I am visually impaired Walmart constantly shifts things.. Makes it hard to find .. sunshine I know where things are at so I can find them... in my busy day I don't have time to wander around the store...This does not happen in sunshine...A !

A little more spend then buying in Sioux falls. As expected with smaller grocery stores outside of town. Otherwise has a decent selection and helpful/friendly employees.

When the cashier was done begging all my stuff .The groceries were sitting on the counter and she looks at me and she goes you can put your bags on the cart and then the guy came and helped push the card out to my car. Was not very impressed with the checker. That is not my job to take my bags and put them on the cart.

Good place for keep it local. The owner is super nice when he works in the morning. Kids love going there with the kid carts they have for shoppers in training.

Convenient. But you pay a fair amount for said convince. If you buy store brand however it's a pretty good value (when available). They are good to the community.
