This is the second year my family and I have used Tyler at the Flandreau Meat Locker. Tyler makes the process so easy even if your a first timer.We contacted Tyler in early June and asked him to put us on his schedule for picking up a full beef the last week of July. Tyler contacted the producer (Glenn Burggraff) and set up the delivery date for us. Butchering was done and hanging time was right to our request. Shout out to Burggraff farms for an amazing quality of farm raised beef.We sent Tyler a text with a list of everything we wanted and he replied back with a few other questions to complete our order. The complete process was easy and done with the best customer service experience. Tyler was prompt and kept right on schedule to the day. We had given him a pick up date when we first spoke and picked our completed order exactly on the date we had given him.If your looking for great customer service combined with an amazing quality of beef processing reach out the Flandreau Meat Locker.Call or text Tyler and get a date set up. This is the worst service imaginable to say the least. Never would answer phone calls or return them. I had 2 hogs done there after about 2 weeks daily sometimes twice trying to get a hold of him to tell him the cuts I wanted he did answer. 1 month goes bye and I had to call again many times to find out if it was ready. Long story short he smoked everything but to 2 small roasts and the chops. Everything that was smoked has went to the dog and it even the dog turned up its nose. The only thing that was really OK is the sausage other than the blue and green die looking pieces that we sort through and discard. The meat has a very bad smell to it. I really don't know how this place stays in business. I will never take anything their again and will not refer anyone either. I can't even give a STAR rating it was so poor. Although I have too get this to post.

I had a pig delivered two months ago and have yet to receive it. The first month I had to call nearly every day before I finally got a hold of him just to place my order. It's been 5 weeks since he took the order and he will not answer or return calls, wont return texts and wont return emails as his full voicemail offered as another means to contact him. Now I'm fully aware that every locker in the area is beyond busy and overwhelmed, but I know for a fact other lockers are at least returning calls and fulfilling customers orders. I can not and will not ever recommend this locker. Completely unorganized and unprofessional.

Very unorganized! If I could, I would give negative stars for customer service. I called him to process two hogs. He said yep I have an opening on this date, and to send him a text with the details. So I did. He replied back "perfect thank you". I then followed up on two other occasions to ask about processing prices and how to process the hogs. Never heard from him. We thought well, he is busy we will talk about it when we bring them in. My friend brought the hogs at 9am as discussed. The doors were locked, and no one answered multiple text or calls. After 30 minutes of sitting there someone finally came out. When they came out we found out he did not have us on the books and there were 40 hogs ahead of us when we were told we could get ours in. We are going else where!

Horrible business practices at this meat locker. 8 months to get a hog. Were told it was ready in July but our meats were packaged 2/08/2021?We also NEVER received our 2 racks of ribs. Not to mention the lack of communication and commen decency. The owner lacks the skills required to run a good business with good customer service. My husband has been blocked after sending the owner pictures of our meats with labels spanning across 10 days. If anyone is attempting to take this company to court we would like to involve in the lawsuit. Please react out to us! You can find our reviews on the companies Facebook page

I had 1/2 a beef done. They texted me and asked how I wanted it processed. I responded. They told me it would be done in two weeks. They gave the product time to hang and between the quality of meat, and quality of cuts I am very happy. I am only a Chef, so take the review for what it is worth.

We waited at least an hour and a half to pick up our meat. Some was frozen and some was barely refrigerated. We did not receive our product the way we ordered it. I'm sure we didn't even get our entire hog. We were missing entire cuts that would normally be included. We will never use this locker again.

Never returned calls on how wanted our 1/2 hog processed. The other person was never contacted and hog was simply processed and he was never called. Not pleased and would not provide a detailed bill upon request. Would not recommend to anyone.

Their bison burgers are the best I have ever had. My family and I planned a cookout last last month and we received incredible service from the staff. Customer for life!

This is the best place around for meat. I love their seasonal jerky! Great bison burger meat and lots of variety. Great place to shop as the people at the counter are very helpful.

Bought a pig in May and had it delivered to locker for processing...i have called and the voicemail asked me to leave a text or email...i complied and waited a month and tried again...i have yet to receive any texts or emails and i have tried over a dozen times ...dont buy from this business period...thank flandreau meat lockwr for stealing from me and my family...
