The food at Tin Lizzy's was good, but the management’s billing tactics feel clearly and knowingly deceptive. The menu claims that all prices include taxes, yet patrons are consistently surprised with a. service charge that we were told is a "resort fee" and additional tax charges that are nowhere disclosed upfront. This deliberate lack of transparency in pricing undermines trust and could potentially breach state consumer protection laws. The staff was aware when we brought it to their attention. Patrons are encouraged to scrutinize their bills and question any undisclosed fees. Transparent and honest dealings by management are essential to ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction.

My review is for the T Grille. I'm on the 24th day of my road trip and this was by far my worst dining experience. Once I was seated I waited about 7 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. I watched people seated after me get their drinks and soup and salad bar. I finally got someone to come over and he was pretty rude. Placed my order and went up to the soup bar. There were six choices that covered a wood spectrum but the ones I tried had little flavor. The lettuce was turning brown and the rolls were not fresh. My pasta dish came and there was no flavor from the Cajun chicken. The chocked seemed to be a processed product. The waiter then came over and dropped the bill on the table, muttered some canned phrase and walked off. Strangely he seemed to interact well with other patrons. Oh well the tip was commensurate with the service.

First of all - they have a craps table! Secondly their food court is extremely affordable with huge portions. They have a bottomless soup buffet where it's $3 with a meal or $5 by itself. It was so good and located between the sports betting and the casino bar itself. Great place to catch a bite or a Starbucks.

I wish I could put less than one but I can’t. Worst casino staff I have ever seen. The dealers are good but the pit staff at night is the most horrible underdressed, unprofessional I have ever seen. Save your money and go to the Franklin.

So disappointed. Went out of our way to come visit deadwood on a road trip. Checked in on our way through on a Tuesday. Although it is advertised everywhere they are open until 2am, they refused to open tables. We were not able to play Black Jack- the only game we are interested in (even though it is WIDELY advertised as available).We also chose specifically to stay in the Tin Lizzie hotel for the access to the Promoted Black Jack tables (supposedly available every night). Couldn’t be more disappointed. What a complete waste of money.0 stars.

The filthiest hotel bathroom I’ve ever encountered. It wasn’t just not cleaned for us, it had accumulated that way for a while. Two requests for it to be serviced in our three day stay never resulted in any action. We were comped $20 in the casino (side note, that card never worked…) I’m sure they’ll respond to this review like the rest, and ask for another chance, but that’s a hard no. Take your vacation somewhere else.

Terrible experience! Terrible customer service! Heidi at the front desk was rude on the phone before I even got to the hotel. Asked for an early check in.. due to the weather, my boyfriend was stranded on the side of the road in his truck overnight. All he wanted was a hot shower. However they didn’t accommodate that at all. Apparently every single room (double Queen standard room..) wasn’t available until check in. Said they would call if anything became available before. No call. Maybe they should have called and offered a different type of room and a different charge that was available. I think she just forgot or straight up didn’t care. he sat outside in the parking lot and watched people hauling in their luggage for two hours straight prior to check in. That night some drunk was hollering around in the hall and kicking his door screaming “let me in”. Trouble in paradise I guess. Fast forward to early hours of the morning.. something was banging around outside for hours. Vacation? Ha. Still was up at 5am. Checked out a day early due to the noise. Noticed the day after I checked out that I was charged too much and inquired and kyra told me it was a deposit fee that would be returned. Did some further looking and it definitely wasn’t a deposit, I was overcharged for my room. Again I contacted the hotel and spoke with this Heidi lady. Who said I’ll look at the reservation and see what I can do. Two hours go by and no word. So I call to speak to the manager and she won’t let me speak to him without telling her my name and what I need to speak to him about. As if it’s her business. Again.. extremely rude. Not to mention she failed to get back to me just like she failed to call about any open rooms. She tells me he’s aware of the situation and will take care of it. Finally after being able to speak to the general manager.. it seems he puts blame on anything and everyone but his staff or himself. Booking made the error. And my exhausted boyfriend could have came into the warm casino. (Eye roll) because apparently everyone has extra money to throw away when all they really want is a bed and a hot shower. Worst hotel I’ve stayed at when it comes to customer service. We frequent deadwood several times a year. Will never return.

We have never been to Deadwood and booked our hotel blind. Being so far from town offered limitations and some inconvenience. We asked a few questions and quickly intercepted by the hospitality of this hotel and gaming resort. Because of their amiability, we made a point to eat at their breakfast and lunch buffets which was very good with fast and excellent service. We enjoyed the other services as well, ice cold beverages at the Pub and loved the Starbucks in the morning. While we had booked further away from town, we will certainly be staying next year. They have won our loyalty.

Haven't done much gambling here or stayed at the hotel, but have you heard of the new boutique restaurant tucked away here? Snitches - in a word, unbelievable. Hands down the best food in Deadwood; amazing chef, friendly and knowledgeable staff, wonderful cocktails, and as well crafted of a wine list as you can find. We had four courses, half of the cocktail menu and a bottle of wine, and everything surpassed expectations. We also just got back from a week in Jackson, WY, and everything we had at Snitches was as good or better than the fine dining we had in Jackson.

I've been gaming at this establishment for about a year now. I've noticed that the slot machines have gotten considerably tighter in regards to the payback especially in the high stakes room. It's like someone turned the switch off. I know that slot machines are the cash cow for every casino but this place has gotten ridiculous. I'll take my money elsewhere moving forward.

It is a typical casino with lots of slot machines. We had hamburgers for lunch that were good but VERY SLOW! We had a problem with a slot machine we were playing & it took 10 minutes to get anyone to help us but, when an employee did show up, she was very nice & knowledgeable & was able to help us. The next day we had the "All you can eat" crab legs that were quite good.

Somehow we were given a bunch of freeplay and a bunch of money toward food here. My boyfriend and I ate at Paddy o Neils, some food court type area, and Snitches and literally everything we ate at each place was absolutey delicious!!! And staff is really great!!

writing my review after gambling about 15700 points in the past few months at this casino. For the level of gaming that I did there, I would have to say you do not get good returns on free play and motel rooms there compared to other casinos in town. I went from free motel rooms every day to no free motel rooms for the month of December and and my weekly free play is far less than other casinos in the area. The food is good there if you are wanting to play slots, I would recommend a couple of the other larger casinos in the area where you will get more of a return and be more appreciated. especially if you are from out of town and only visit once a month or so. I would not recommend this casino for people who don't live in the region.

Had booked two hotel rooms. Ran them separately so my card was declined due to possible fraudulent activity. Finally got that issue resolved with Heidi who was so kind. Got to Deadwood early, couldn't get into our room. At check in Josh assisted me. The worst customer service experience in my life. To put it as nicely Josh was possibly one of the most cocky, arrogant and misogynistic person I have ever met. Argued about the names on the room, told me I booked under the wrong name, short, snippy, rude. Laughed at me when I asked to speak to a manager and claimed he was one. Do not stay here. Even Eric the actual Manager did nothing to make the situation better. Absolutely ruined my first night in Deadwood. I have many friends and family that love Deadwood and they will never, ever stay at Tin Lizzies!

Great vacation destination!The connecting Hampton hotel was fantastic with lovely staff. And is in the heart of downtown.Tin Lizzie's slots were updated and weren't terribly tight, as we had many hours of play time over the weekend.Deadweird on Halloween weekend was definitely worth planning around! 👻🎃🕸🕷

Brandy was our dealer for black jack, she made our experience amazing and Dave from Patty O'neils was the best, both were super funny and very personable. I know theres a saying to not be a dave but when it come to THE DAVE there is no other dave to be! The hotel was beautiful and service was great all around! Will definitely return!

Had a fantastic experience at the opening weekend. The service was impeccable and the rooms were clean and beautifully designed. Dinner was great the restaurant, Kalb short ribs that was delicious. Highly recommend!

Worst hotel I've ever experienced. The staff is RUDE and it was a dirty room. Do NOT give your money to this hotel. They are the most awful staff I've ever encountered. They need to be trained or educated in service and how to handle situations. Give your money to plenty of other hotels on that main Street.

A went for breakfast this morning and stood there waiting over 20 min for anyone to come out and take our order witch we do the buffet and $12 and some change later someone comes out and it's the cook. Not the servers or cashier n smiled the whole time not one word or good morning or oh I'm sorry u had to wait. Then the server comes out n talks to the cook and not one 23rd was said until we were gonna sit and asked what we wanted to drink. Never checked on us and the 4 elder couples waited at the omelet section and all servers did was stand there and I here one server say I think they want omlets. Wow what a way to run a restaurant . Also not to mention server never came to see if we needed refills or asked anything. Well guess what. I will let our friends know not to eat there. As we will not either again. I can say I even had the Black jack table guy call n no answer on the phone so he kindly came by and told them we were waiting. Then afterwards we played a few machines n the same black jack dealer came and asked us how the food was. He was a kind person. Not to mention we r locals. Sad. Smdh

You can't even get drink service while playing. Customer service just doesn't exist here anymore it's sad used to be a great place.

Overall bad experience playing roulette. I had placed 5 $5 chips on a number and it hit. Did not get all of what I had won. The dealer left and changed out and I question the dealer as she leaves saying I did not receive my full win amount owed. The lady ignored me and walked away and the new dealer did not know what was going on with it. After they did not want to pay my full amount won they decided they will made me leave because they said I was too intoxicated to play. I think it is bs because if I was losing a bunch of money they would be more than happy to let me stay and lose but when I hit a good amount for a win they don’t pay it all then make me leave. I think it’s bs and so does my wife. We will never go there again

At 6am on Monday mornings the trash truck empties what seems like 500 dumpsters for 30+ minutes. If you are here to sleep in, avoid on mondays. I wish I’d have known this before booking here.

Everything you could want for a Deadwood experience in one place! Large gaming floor and exciting table games, including live craps and roulette! Restaurant with choice of buffet or variety of grill items. Irish pub with extensive selection of craft beers. They even have a Starbucks store right inside the resort! The hotel rooms are newly renovated and extremely comfortable. All the staff were great!! Plus, plenty of on-site parking which is rare in downtown Deadwood!

Um ya no never ever again horrible service just bad dirty establishment waitress would rather stab her self in the foot then be there. Old gross food chicken tasted so bad had to spit out. Unkept establishment dirty floors and plates weren't washed well had crusty food on all the plates .Recommend the Silverado or the midnight star.
