This became my go-to for breakfast when visiting family up in Lead. I tried multiple dishes and there wasn't a single bad one. I tried the steak and eggs only to see what their sirloin was like. It was a good hunk of meat. It was cooked to a proper medium rare, wasn't overly chewy. Amber (I think!) was our server every morning, and she was about the most you can ask for from a waitress. So as long as you stay away from the gambling machines, you're totally gonna win the game of breakfast at this casino.

Stopped by for Breakfast after church on 1 Oct 2023. It wasn’t very busy at the time. No hostess, so the man clearing tables seated us and got us water. We waited 20 minutes and no waitress to take our order. Other people came in 10 minutes after us and had their order taken right away. We were seated at table 19 by the restaurant entrance, so it wasn’t hard to see that we still had our menus on the table and hadn’t ordered. The waitress kept telling everyone that the Hostess didn’t show up, so they were behind. She told us she would be with us soon, but after waiting 20 minutes, we got up and left. We won’t be back.Food & drinks: Might want to consider alternative.

Clean, comfortable rooms. A bit far from historic main Street deadwood, but a walk that is very manageable!Great bar and bar prices!Wonderful breakfast in the morning! Only complaint is the food didn't all come out at once.. I was almost done before the final plate was brought out.

I've been going to Deadwood for nearly 20 years now.This is one of my favorite places.They have a parking garage. You can check into your room, park and walk straight into a door, out of the elements.Their food is exceptional. Service is unbeatable.Gaming room is always clean.It's a bit warm in some of the areas but they cater to alot of elderly.A handicapped person can park right up next to the building and just walk in.Nearby activities: Rodeo arena, museum is right across the street.Safety: I always felt safe in Deadwood.

Staying next door and after a long day of traveling decided to grab something close and gamble a bit. Three of us dining, two had steaks and I had the crab. Waitress didn’t bring out the food, two kids did. Actually never saw the waitress at our table again, but I could see her standing in the back. Anyway, food came out and it was good, nothing to brag about but good. Crab crackers would have helped with ease of eating. Asked the buser for some, but English wasn’t her native language and I got ice water, which I was thankful for since I never got my drink. Oh, and crab is served with butter flavored oil not butter, the stuff used on popcorn. That was gross.Slots are super tight, casino very small.

This casino is pretty far from main street and one of the smaller ones. I've never had much luck here, but I've seen people win some pretty decent money. They have a poker and blackjack table. One of each. Variety of machines and have different betting levels. This is one of the quieter places so I enjoy coming here after a night of shenanigans. They also have a restaurant here!

After eating at the restaurant this evening, we were disappointed. It started with being told they were training new wait staff. We were fine with that UNTIL the trainer was too busy chatting it up to help train her new people. One of the training waitresses brought out our food, which was horrible. We've never had worse prime rib or steak. The trainer or waitress never came by to check if we needed refills, if everything was good, etc. When we did get the attention of a newbie waitress, she finally got our bill. We observed for a while, as the newbies were just kind of roaming like they were lost and no one to guide them. It's too bad this seemed to be the case. Save yourself $50 and try a different place to eat.

Five of us walked down to the casino from our hotel room we were in the casino less than 30 minutes when one of our guests were asked to leave the waitress refuse to serve us because they were not comfortable serving us Anwar walk to the door five of us left that casino wondering what the hell happened I think the waitress did not want to work that night! I plan on coming back to Deadwood but I would not stay at this hotel or go to this casino again

Small but good variety of slot machines. Room was quiet and comfortable .. after we found comforter.. in drawer under the bed!! Sufficient breakfast.Walkability: Would be nice if shuttle stopped closer.

We’ve been enjoying this buffet for years even tho the lady running around with a walk-in talkie is worthless! (Manager?) She’ll walk by your table all night long, never stopping to ask if you need a refill or used plates take away. We just recently ate there only to discover they’ve raised their prices yet again! That’s $9. a person hike in just 2 years! The wait staff was the worst it’s ever been, with the exception of the little older woman. She is a wonderful friendly waitress. Yet, no one Ever stopped by our table to see if we needed a refill or to take away the dirty plates. Oh yeah, and they are now using plastic plates. Be sure to take two as they’ll break spilling your food on the floor. Every table was over flowing with full buckets and stacked plates. The folks on each side of us were complaining about the horrible service. We will go down the road to a much cleaner, bigger buffet with always friendly, prompt staff and pay a few $$ less a person!! We will NEVER eat at first gold again

The all you can eat crab N' prime rib was fair at best. The crab was very dry and tasteless. The prime rib was cold and chewy. It was my first try at their all you can eat crab n' prime rib. I have had All the others in town, and this was by far the most dry, poor taste, and chewy buffet I have had. What a shame. I won't try it again, waste of my hard earned money. Beware if your gonna try it.

Why? Well my husband love to eat here and me too breakfast food is amazing and delicious coffee is okay waitress kind and nice all the times but ttoday Jan 29 2023 us the SECOND time the lady on front show a very disgusting attitude talking and acting "bossy" throwing the cutlery and menus at the table that didn't even ask us if we would like to sit there I really don't care is she's the boss or the owner or whatever. I've been working in the food service business for more than 20 years back in San Antonio (my hometown) and now I have a food Truck in Gordon, Nebraska and well I never treat people like that. We change to another table we're we feel more comfortable. I've been Manager of a friend peruvian estaurant in Maryland, but also I used to work as a waitress, dishwasher, bussgirl, kitchen manager, cook manager. Just a reminder you don't have to come to work showing that attitude to others. That's NOT nice oh and we always tip.

Awful... expensive ($55 for 2) prime rib buffet Friday. Awful prime rib, very small unimaginative buffet. Salad bar was basically lettuce with various dressings and toppings. Great cheesecake! Good waitress. 2-4 others standing around beverage area. What a letdown for our 30th wedding anniversary!!!!!!!
