Worth stopping in for a bite. I dropped in here during my national tour for my hiking YouTube channel "Beyond the Pavement" and had The travelers breakfast which seemed appropriate. Very friendly staff nice and clean establishment.

This place is a gem! We stopped on our way through town and the store had a sign saying that were closing early due to low staffing. We showed up 15 minutes before new closing time and the nice staff insisted they don’t mind and let us sit and order. All food was great! Do yourself favor and try the waffle fries. Thank you to the sweet staff that stayed open for us!

Very nice little cafe. The staff was very friendly. The food was very good. We had breakfast and everything came out very quickly and hot! I had the cinnamon roll pancakes. Very good! I recommend this place if you're looking for a small town cafe. A very clean little place also.

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTENNot many options in Chamberlain so here we go.Two scrambled eggs with cheese, hashbrowns, bacon and sourdough toast. About as simple as you can get.Almost everything was good. The portions were nice and four slices of bacon instead of two. Asked for crispy hashbrowns and they had a little bit on top but not both sides. The eggs were soft so if you want them scrambled hard you need to ask. If found them good and flavored. The issue was the toast. It was so stale it was cardboard in texture. This is such a simple item to get right. There is no way they didn't know when they picked it up that it was stale but they served it anyway. That's were attention to quality shows.I would try it again but hopefully this review will cause them to pay more attention. It wouldn't take much for them to be a notch better.

Good food and good service. Bison burger came out burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. They gladly offered to cook it more, but later offered a completely different burger. Should've taken the different burger as the re-heated burger was very dry - bison is a lean meat after all. My gluten sensitive family members didn't have too much to choose from outside of bunless burgers. Would still recommend.

Service was good, mixed feelings on the meal. Biscuit was too dense for our preference yet the gravy was delicious. The cinnamon roll pancakes had a great flavor but a little chewy. When we went to pay our bill we found that another customer in the restaurant had paid for our breakfast. Was very unexpected and much appreciated. Thank you again sir.

We were on vacation and thought we would go where the locals go. I ordered a chef salad. Mostly lettuce chunks, very little meat and no hard boiled egg. Drove out of our way to get there, wasn't worth it.

My 8 yr old raves about their biscuits & gravy, and he's not wrong! They set the bar for all others during our vacation and no one came close. As a Southerner I take biscuits & gravy seriously and these were SO good. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast and left happy. She even gave hubby a to-go coffee for the road. Great service. A clean local place. I loved hearing the waitress chatting up her usual customers. They clearly love the place, with good reason!

After hiking the Badlands we were starving, but decided to drive ~2 hours from Wall to Chamberlain for a cafe breakfast. It was worth the wait/drive! The big boy breakfast, the omelettes, the pancakes were all great. Frankee treated us right and even played along with our stupid jokes/antics! Great small town cafe that is worth the trip.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant for 20 years and have seen it go through several name changes and ownership changes. It’s always been pretty decent but the current owners have really done a great job. The food is always super good. Friendly service. Clean atmosphere. Kid friendly.
