The gentleman and cashier were very friendly and helpful but the younger lady with long red hair was extremely rude to me and the gentleman helping me . She very much lacks customer service skills and has a rash attitude towards helping her Co workers. Have never had a bad experience at any of the dollar geneal before now , maybe she needs a new lone of work or hopefully it was just she was having a off day.

This place is literally the worst dollar general I’ve ever been in.It’s always messy, the staff look like they just crawled out of a grave, one in particular was the rudest dude ever.He saw me walking in the store through the window then wipped his arms in the air and then walked into the back room that way he didn’t have to help me. Luckily there was a self checkout station. The only plus is it’s convenient location, other than that, 1/5

Have 3 registers 2 are self check only 1 is being used and not working right.These dollar stores are becoming a big headache.Either the registers not being used or they don’t have what you need with empty shelves

Stopped in to pick up a few things, as I have done in the past. Went to check out and they could not give me a receipt. They said it had jammed and couldn’t give me a copy. I had my bank account broke into once before, and do not like leaving without a receipt. I asked the manager to reprint a copy for me, to which the reply was “You’re S.O.L.!” This was not a friendly, courteous reply, and not warranted at all. I will not be shopping there again, and will tell anyone else to take there business elsewhere, as they obviously do not need the money.

I have four dollar general stores near my house and this is by far my favorite. The employees are very friendly here. The prices are reasonable. The only complaint I would have is on there digital coupons. They have a coupon app for their store, and it hardly ever works. Its very aggravating especially when your trying to save some money. Would recommend this store out of most if you like dealing with friendly employees.

Well stocked, clean, helpful staff BUT .... NOBODY wearing a mask, not employees, not customers. We usually shop here at least twice a week but won't be back until either masks are required or COVID-19 is a thing of the past.

UPDATE: Still the worst Dollar General I've ever had the displeasure of visiting. Funny reading the reviews because everyone that truly lives here knows This store is horrible. All friends and family I know complain about this store constantly. Workers at other local DG Stores that live in Townville will not stop This store. This store is the joke of the town lol. The workers there are nice with the exception of management. The current manager is horrible. She's rude and just unpleasant and has on occasion cursed customers out telling them if they don't like(whatever it is) they can go F'ing somewhere else! If I could give a BIG ZERO rating for this store I would.This is the worst Dollar General I have ever seen! Stock not on shelves cause its sitting on carts that are sitting in the isles piled 6+ feet! A year ago this was a nice store. I don't know what happened but I drive out of my way to go to other Dollar General stores!!!! The WORST! And to add to this, its what 2 weeks from Christmas, THIS STORE STILL DOES NOT HAVE ALL THEIR CHRISTMAS THINGS ON THE SHELVES! Shaking My Head!!!

The one in townville I had a real bad experience intheir with an employee rshe was Rude .hateful tone in her voice.she does not need to work in retail ! I found my self apologizing and not knowing why .hope I never have to go there again 👎 Now the one on Hwy #24 I like that store but they need stockers toget things put away.but that is the one I shop at .

M******..is extremely loud with customers and seems to always have some id vendetta with me EVERY time I buy cigarettes. On several occasions I have heard her call other customers out about their purchase and none of that is her business. She is there to sell Dollar Generals merchandise and not make someone feel uncomfortable about what they are buying. If I see her car, I myself will try and avoid stopping anymore. Linda is gonna be missed by me and I'm sure a lot more of dollar general of Townville's customers. Need more cashiers like her there. It was ALWAYS pleasant when she was working!!! From my understanding, I'm not the only dg customer who feels this way about M******!

Clerk on casual call while at check out really can't say if she would of been faster had she not been on the phone but I could only think that it would of sped up things had she not.

Love the convenience!Dont have to drive all the way to Walmart or the other dollar general but it says they stay open to ten o'clock but the doors are locked at 9:55.

This is lovingly called the mall of Townville. They do not have fresh veggies or fruit but they do have about everything else you might need.
