Went there tonight after I got off work looking for something sweet, so I bought a strawberry shortcake cake. The cashier was not friendly. Didn't hand me my receipt, I had to take it from her. Plus the bag boy put my cake in a bag that was about to bust!! And I told him may I have another bag please? And the cahiers standing there talking to one another!!! Nightshift at this store needs to pay more attention!!!!!!

The food is excellent and the buffet I just want to order everything they have smothered turkey wings fried chicken so many other meats and then they have greens and field peas and lima beans and etcetera different types of cornbread is the best Piggly Wiggly I've ever been to

I haven't been in a Piggly Wiggly in decades. Stopped here for a snack while passing through Sumter. Was pleasantly surprised that it was well lit and clean.

Upon entering the store the floors were clean and polish. The smell what's Pleasant. There was no clutter in the aisles check out was fast. The cashier was nice and pleasant to me and thanked me.

I went to buy tossed salad out of deli. I went on May 11th. All salads had a expiration date of May 12th. The cucumbers were frozen in the package. The container had a price of $7. No not half price but full price. Then I needed can goods(vegetables). Dust was all over the can goods. Make sure that you check dates at this store and turn all salads upsidedown to see bad salads. Piggly wiggly on Broad is much better than this location. I was able to find salads dated until the 15th.

I used to live within walking distance of this store. I like this one very much. Good prices..the meat and produce departments are clean and we'll stocked. The store manager is one of the very best..and also my pharmacy is here. I have the best pharmacist in the entire area and the girls who work in there with Jimmy are awesome.

We use the Pharmacy at the Pig. You ALWAYS get top notch service from them. All the people that work in the Pharmacy are extremely pleasant and always helpful. The pharmacist Jim Jones you can't get any better as a pharmacist and a person too. He will go above and beyond for his customers as will all the employees there. Definitely wish all pharmacies were like that.

I was disappointed. Other Piggly Wiggly stores I have shopped at have better pricing and organization. Some areas looked worn and poorly maintained. Meat didn't appear the freshest. Some workers were pleasant enough. I've heard rumors about some store closings. Maybe this is one.

The store feels old because it is. The floor is probably the biggest culprit and they have very warm lighting which makes it worse.I bet the owner would be amazed how much better it would look with modern white lighting. I came for hamburger meat but changed my mind when I saw how carelessly it was packaged, which I've never noticed or cared about before but this was ridiculous. There was also dried blood that couldn't have been from a few days under the wire rack which kinda grossed me out so I got food elsewhere. That said they have great sweet tea by the gallon for $2.99 in the produce section.

Best steaks in town at a reasonable price. They carry Blue Bell ice cream too and the hard to find flavors. But you also have to check expiration dates, I picked up a canned good and it had expired 18 months ago.

Food there is to expensive for the area this area mostly low income people shop there y'all need to compare prices to other Piggly wiggly I'm Sumter the hamburger is to expensive did u notice how much u get in a pack I don't like this pig they are extremely to expensive when I saw the price and how many very small packs of hamburger I would have to buy to make one meal I left the whole cart 8.99 for enough to make 3 patties it's ridiculous

It was so refreshing to encounter so much hospitality here! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. There was such a sense of community and harmony among the people no matter who you were. I was visiting from out of town, High Point, NC to be exact, and it was definitely a departure from the types of friendliness and services I sometimes experience here. This is a total compliment to Piggly Wiggly.

Let me start by saying, I do not like going into this particular PIG.. (only bc I've always only gone to the one out 15 South, but recently bought a house and this is the closest.)However, I have had nothing but positive experiences here. When I came into the store, I was greeted by the workers and then another worker said out loud.. ALRIGHT PURPLE! That made me smile..None the less, I went in to pick up a couple of items and was on and out in a jiff. Everything was easy to find, the store was clean, the staff was super friendly, and the aisles weren't cluttered.A win in my book!UPDATE: 6/27/22I'm kind of disappointed that everytime I go in there, the bathrooms are always locked. No way they're always locked bc theybjust got cleaned. I drink a lot of water and so I have to potty all day.. I feel bad for people with small children.

This store is awesome, anything you need is there, don't want to cook they have good food, that cook and ready to eat. Need a plant for a special event, like a birthday or love one pass, They have it. Great price you will love this place. NEXT TIME I am in Sumter I will definitely shop at Piggly Wiggly.

This Piggly Wiggly is very clean and the produce section ...Awesome, but the poultry, pork and meats sections were customized, large packages (family) or portion controlled packing. Price points very reasonable. Th iij s is my mother in law's favorite location.

This store Alwaysss smells, I hate it but anyways I bought a pack of steak from here it was bad, returned it the meat guy said they don't do returns without receipts who hangs on to their grocery receipt besides my mom lol nevertheless the Manger took care of me.

Once again this piggy wiggly breakfast fail me. The lady scrapes eggs off the side of the pan to give to me instead of making a fresh batch. Servers need to serve food with a smile. No one never smiles.
