Giving two stars instead of one because I have had decent experiences at this location from time to time, but overall if you live in Summerville, I would go ahead and drive to Dorchester Road to get your feed and supplies. Items are regularly labeled incorrectly, and when you take a photo up to the register, the cashier tries to argue with you that it was someone else’s fault (the delivery people) instead of taking responsibility for the mistake and giving you labeled price. Every time I purchase chicks from this location my survival rate is dismal, 50% at absolute best, and most employees have no idea what they are selling you. I was also treated as if I was trying to shoplift a drink that I brought into the store myself and isn’t even sold by Tractor Supply… I repeat, They don’t even sell the drink I was drinking in their store and she acted like I was trying to steal. I am a “neighbors club member” with them and literally spent over $100 just today! $1000s in the last year! Very disappointed with today’s visit.

Filthy beyond reason. The employees do not care about your animals wellbeing. I brought my dog with me to buy dog treats. She ingested a blue dye that was on the floor. I went to ask a older blonde female associate (background of one of my photos) for water so my dog could rinse her mouth. Her tongue was bright blue. The associate was at the computer by the baby chicks. A older bearded male associate was with a female customer on the other side of the pin.I say excuse me twice and she does not even look up at me. Finally she says she is already helping a customer and is very dismissive of me. Still not looking up. (I assume the customer is the one picking out chicks with the male associate so I don't understand why she couldn't just ask what I needed)I then speak up and tell her the situation anyway. My dog ingested something on the floor and now her tongue is blue. I want water for her. She finally looks up at me and says she probably ate the dog food. I tell her No, my dogs tongue is BRIGHT blue. I even open my dogs mouth to show her. She hands me a dirty bucket and points me towards the restrooms. Still no real concern for my dog.I ended up in the mens restroom in my hurry to help my dog. Just like the rest of the store it is filthy. Urinal clogged with urine puddling. When I come out she wasn't even by the chicks anymore. Nowhere in sight. Just shows that she really wasn't concerned about me or my animal.I took some blurry photos on my rush out for my dog. I came back about an hour later to take clearer ones for customer service.I really hope the store manager is disgusted by the treatment and disregard the employees showed me and my dog.We won't be returning to tractor supply. 🚫

A nice welcome as soon as we come in the front doors. Found good prices on the dog food. Assistant asked us if we needed any help while looking around. The store has a very good layout to find what your looking for. The checkout person was very nice. We will be back more often.

Great local store to purchase everything from quality dog & cat food all the way down to quality power tools. Always competitive prices compared to the big box hardware stores. Always friendly staff members on hand, and they're always willing to help you with any questions or issues you may have concerning whatever type of project you have in the works.

Love Tractor Supply! I lived near one in Tennessee and have just moved here to South Carolina and found out that it was close to the house. Picked up some Cajun peanuts that I can rarely find elsewhere and some items for the new house. Staff were awesome in locating the sand I needed to weigh down my plants and use in my outdoor ashtray. Always a great place to find decor as well 11/10 stars

Very friendly very helpful a little crowded at times due to Having a lot of things that people need and the help and understanding given by its employees. The only reason I give 4 stars is maybe they could open? A couple more registers. Up? Sometimes the line it's pretty long generally worth the wait though.

We go here often - specifically for the DIY dog wash. For $10 you can’t beat the products, dryer and towels use. Good store and location & friendly staff.

Always a good experience...no matter which location I visit. They carry most essentials whether you are a backyard enthusiast or a homesteader. For us, it's always chicken feed, cracked corn, and some all stock for the goatie girls. Can't wait for the new summerville location to open on dorchester rd.

It's a small store which is nice. You don't have to walk a mile to find what you are looking for. I saw a good variety of things I would consider buying. I was there to purchase gardening items.

Man you know tractor supply is a lot like ace hardware. That being said if you don't mind paying a few extra bucks for the merchandise the customer service just cannot be matched by either of those two stores. The employees are sincere and they generally want to help you they're knowledgeable just great stores all-around great

There return is not good, The lady at register told me she couldn't find the item number in the system. So because of getting back $7.00 and some change she gave me $200 and some change, I could believe it. I just toke the money and wajk out and never went back it been over a year now. Usually a great experience, except propane, stopped in again 03/18/2023 and was told by Clayton there was no propane (very rude). Never saw this employee before, there's no reason to catch an attitude for someone carrying their tanks over to gate.

My husband sent me to get a sleeve for our hitch. Was a little skeptical at first as front end service was not that great. We got Jerry to help us. I can not say enough good things about him. Hw went above and beyond to give us the best customer service. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He even came outside to look at the truck to make sure we were getting the right part(s). When we checked out he put the hitch on the truck. I tried tipping him and he would not take it. Said he was just doing his job. We need to see more people with this kind of work ethic. Someone should teach him how to manage stress better & coach him on interacting with customers especially in a customer service setting. Found this jewel years ago. You want quality dog food or meds, there. You want quality tools, guess what? Home decor? That too as well as apparel. You may ride by and see trailers and such but do not understand this store. I can buy hay and a Yellowstone shirt, and replace one lost wrench and find cup hooks I really needed.

Friendly staff. They also have a room where you can easily wash your dog. Wash station and dry station stocked with many different shampoos to choose from. Great idea, and very convenient.
