This is an awesome local comic shop. They have comics, a kids area, a coffee bar, figurines, collectibles, paint and miniatures, dice, cards, board games, and knowledgeable staff. Their prices are really reasonable and they have clearance on occasion. The store smells like coffee and there are so many neat things to look at. Great location with lots of other fun and food nearby and not difficult to get in and out of.

These guys are the greatest. They can answer most any questions on the subject of comics, trades, movies, action figures, statues, board games, and the stuff Google just guesses about 😉. They also have paint classes, celebrities, sigings, and game nights. All jokes aside, Daniel, Annie, and Danny are good people. In today's world, you can most likely order anything online, but the people at The Tangled Web are the reason we've been going back again and again for well over a decade. I'm sure I've left something out, but I guess what I'm saying is it's worth the time to stop by and check them out

Pretty cool comic book store, in my opinion, because they have so many silver age back issues. It's hard to find at the modern comic book store these days. Very clean but also nostalgic feeling. Had a good conversation about the good old days of comics with one of their employees.

I’ve been a regular since shortly after Daniel started this place. I can’t remember how long it’s been, well over a decade. It’s impressive to me that he’s been able to do this kind of business for so long, successfully. The staff has changed over the years, but Daniel has always been friendly and is a good listener if I have questions about anything. The employees are good too. I appreciate the membership deals, periodic big sales, having a subscription list, willingness to hunt things online for me, they have lots of stuff to offer. They take trades, and occasionally I’ve found some cool Transformers at good prices. Lots of anime, tabletop gaming supplies, statues, cards, a kids section, action figures, more than just comics. And plenty of those.

Awesome store to buy Comics, cards, anime, and all types of different statues. The customer service was really helpful and friendly. I wish we had a tangled web in Summerville SC because I don't go to my local comic shop because the pricing at the counter which has been a problem with many collectors local comics stores but not the Tangled Web and that's why I go there every time I go to Spartanburg SC.

I personally wouldn't get anything tcg related from here unless I'm desperate and can't find it anywhere else. Most everything was well over MSRP. Even fairly common products that can be found in most other LCS's and even retail stores throughout the upstate are $3-4 over MSRP, as well as most singles being $2-3 over market price on TCGPlayer. I do understand fully that businesses have to make money, and I'm all for supporting local businesses, but it's hard to justify paying so much more when other local businesses sell the same product at retail priceEdit: $7 for pokemon booster packs, and not sleeved packs, packs from booster boxes, still sticking to it, find business elsewhere. Them claiming to be competitive to other local shops is absolutely laughable

This was a great store. Comic books and comic book toys galore. They have a coffee bar and gaming area and even a sweet little lady selling baked goods by the entrance/exit.

The Tangled Web is in a bigger location now in the same plaza. The larger location is clean and inviting. Lots of comics and games and now has a large gaming area that is very inviting and has drinks and a coffee bar (why don't more stores have that???)If you're driving to or through Spartansburg this place is worth stopping off to visit.

If you are a person trying to sell something to this place, please look into other options I took in seven very credible items one being a Batman Cal Arkham asylum edition, one of 250 along with a venom statue, along with a naruto statue and a couple other items I wait to see how fair they are. I waited three weeks for them to get the pricing at comparison correct I called and I got a total of $60 is the best that they could offer me for all of my items I called for one individual item just one of the six items that they took , they charge $100 for one item. I understand the business have to make money but making money and screw people over or two different things so please be cautious of this company. I would love to see this “establishment” try to rebuttal or deny or justify the claims I kept the receipts this time but for my fellow collectors and comic advocates, please do not sell these people your precious collectibles because they will try and market up over 300% when this is a self proclaimed advocate of people who enjoy comics collectibles anime it’s not fair they do this to people

Asked about trading a specific card and they told me to bring it in to get value which I said which card it was.and they are selling same card currently.. waste my time drive 20 minutes next day and the card has been in protection sleeve since I got it and it's in mint condition and they tell me they won't take it currently.. instead of wasting my time tell me that the day I asked instead of having me take another tripEdit.I went into the store yesterday you had the card on display I asked about trading in same card. They wouldn't give me a price but said bring it in so they can see the condition so I wasted my time and brought it in to be told zero even tho it's in mint condition

I always enjoy coming here. Something new everytime I go. They have a nice variety of Comic Books, Pokemon and Magic cards, games for all ages. Video games for every console and lots of neat stuff for gift ideas. Super friendly staff and very knowledgeable on everything they sale. Definitely a place you need to check out if you never been.

Took a stack of old comics in to sell & was pleased with the honesty to which I received from the employee. He told me what he would offer & approx how much he would in turn sell it for & I was satisfied. Both gentlemen I dealt with were very polite, & swiftly handled my transaction w/ smiles! I'll def be back just to check out everything else they have to offer.

I haven't been there in years. As soon as me and my daughter walk in, we were greeted like old friends coming home. Found everything we wanted and even more. The employees were very friendly and the prices were to die for. Will definitely be back to add to my toy/comic collection. 10/5 stars.

Well never thought I would end up doing one of these reviews, but I have to say my experience at Tangled Web today was very disappointing. Ive bought and traded a many of Funko/Magic products over the years with them. Some of my stuff is in their glass case. Now that does not entitle me in any way and this is just my personal experience being stated.I have to say that today will be the last day I trade or purchase from the Web. I felt very uncomfortable with the interaction I had with the whispers behind the counter about the product I brought in and what I felt to be fake customer service.I've always been a big supporter of the Web, and hate to have to post a bad review but today changed my opinion.

I just recently stumbled across this place, I'm 37 years old and this place took me back to my childhood, I'm an avid Comic Book collector and absolutely love all the action figures they have thereof my favorite Super Hero's, this place absolutely rocks. I'll definitely be shopping here weekly from here on out.

I was a much bigger fan of this place back when they held Mtg events, but since COVID hit they stopped(understandable) and have just never started back up.They still sell cards though and they have other draws(coffee bar, collectibles, etc.) But for me "the thrill is gone".

It's the greatest comic book store I have ever been to. They are super friendly and helpful. I have been shopping there for well over 20 years and will continue to do so! Great folks, great shopping atmosphere/environment.

Great place! Most comic book stores around here aren't kid friendly, but this place has a section for kids and my son loved it. They are very friendly. They gave us a fair price for magic cards we sold them they didn't try to low ball us. I will definitely go back 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

The guys here always make sure that their customers are taken care of. Presley is extremely knowledgeable about all the products. I'd highly recommend them for your comic and nerdy needs.
