Worst Lowe's experience of my life spread over 4 hoursI asked the young man in building materials for information regarding deck handrail systems. He said he didn't know much because it only been there for 7 months. He did not offer to get someone else for me. Instead he told me that that's all we have is 6 ft. And 26 in which didn't even make sense. He said he needed to go somewhere and walked away. After getting frustrated not being able to find another associate, I called the store and asked for assistance in aisle 52. I heard a page code 1 aisle 52 waited 20 minutes and still nothing so I called again. This time the page was someone please go to aisle 52 again another 20 minutes and no one showed up. Finally, I called and asked for a manager. When the manager showed up initially she seem to be helpful but it was all an illusion. She didn't know what she was talking about although she claimed she did. She sold me $500 worth of materials that don't even go together but said they did. Now I need to find someone that can give me the right stuff. I could have built something from scratch is 1,000% better and 99% cheaper.

This store has the worst customer service. I bought a riding lawn mower and the men that delivered it did not speak English. I was asking them questions about it and they did not understand. When I was going to use it it was dead. I called the store and they said the battery was dead. I bought a battery charger, charged it and it still did not work.. I went to the store and they said they would pick up the bad one and bring me another one. They picked it up April 11 but did not bring a new one. That was the last I heard from them. I have called 3 times since then and they were going to escalate it but I heard nothing. I AM PAYING $2000 FOR A LAWN MOWER AND HAVE YET TO GET A GOOD ONE. BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU BUY ANY BIG ITEM. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AND DON'T CARE IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.

I’m at the store now STILL WAITING on staff to load 25 bags of mulch. They won’t let me load it myself, told me to pull to a side gate at the garden center. I’ve now waited for 25 minutes. Next I called into the garden center. A rather rude sounding woman answered the phone. Stated she didn’t know I was waiting, and that it would be a long time before she could help me. After 15 more minutes passed, an employee walked up the the locked gate and said he can’t see my order on his device and that he doesn’t have a key to the gate. He said he would try to find someone with a key. At this point I am waiting just out of curiosity how long it takes to get a small load of mulch from Lowe’s when there is literally no other customers here or ahead of me.

Christy the ASM did for me what no other Lowe’s personnel would do. Tried 2x over 2 weeks to purchase a 6k zero turn and both times, on the day of delivery, received an email saying my order could not be delivered. Right when I was about to cancel my order again I was fortunate enough to get through to Christy the ASM who took charge of the situation and went above and beyond to make sure I got my mower that day. It’s rare to find such great people, particularly in retail these days. After this whole experience, I made it a point to drive an hour away to the store to meet Christy in person and share my experience with her manager, Howard, who hopefully makes it a point to acknowledge Christy and make sure she knows how valuable as she is. Thank you Christy!

I came in last night and loaded my buggy up with all the things I thought I needed to work in my flower bed and fertilize my yard this weekend. I was looking for one more thing so I found an associate to ask for his help. He looked at my buggy and asked me what it was I was planning to do. After I told him my plans, he very helpfully told me that I didn't need half of what was in my buggy. He then walked with me around the garden area helping me get the things I did need and he helped me design my flower bed (that I hope I don't kill, Mama didn't pass her green thumb to me)If you are ever in need of assistance at this store, I HIGHLY recommend asking for Douglas in the garden area. He was so patient with me and friendly, I think we probably talked for 45 minutes.Douglas if you read this, I hope you catch a bunch of fish on your next fishing trip!! Thank you for all of your help!!

Great lowe's store. The service was great as usual. I was looking for a birdbath for my new house. The Lowe's employee spent time showing me the different kinds. With their help I found what I loved. Great store

Today I came in to purchase some lumber and needed them cut, it was a good bit as well. Mr Brad one of the supervisors stopped what he was doing to help me get my plywood cut which took a while in my opinion, but he was very nice about it and patient with me. I really appreciated what he did for me, he is awesome!! Thanks again

When you need a new electronic dryer and you can't decide which one to choose because they have too many to choose from! Having special value sales made my choice easier and the amazing staff went beyond to help me out with the decision. Couldn't leave without also grabbing an amazing Christmas tree and yard decorations for our next family project!

The display for vanity was wrong. Was $50 difference when I tried to buy. Customer Service was awful. I may have considered still buying but her attitude was like I was trying to steal. Instead of trying to be helpful she was rude.Informed manager with a call afterwards.

After making an online purchase I used the curbside pickup service for the first time, followed the instructional email and the process was seamless. No long wait and the staff took care of loading the items.

I came to purchase firewood, but it was no longer in front of the store. Kayla, a store associate, offered to locate them for me; I explained that I had twisted my knee, and walking was difficult. Her device could not give a location of the items either.. Kolby advised her that they were moved into the garden center. Kayla and Kolby brought back the bundles of firewood, where I was waiting at the checkout area.What a great team effort!! And an impressive experience!!! I will continue to shop here.

Worst Lowe’s Ever - The workers are unresponsive. Waited more than 45 minutes for someone to tell me they can’t get wood down. Look at the other reviews. There is a pattern of people waiting. This is not something new. It’s bad management.Went to buy other wood and the lumber area is a mess. Disorganized. No prices or descriptions on wood. Shop elsewhere. People don’t care here.I can see 4 workers standing around talking but no one doing any work. Very mismanaged.Heading to Home Depot.

Used Lowe’s for building a fence. Sent 50% more material than neede. Refuse to give a refund or even pick up the excess. Will never use again.Edit to address Lowe’s response below: I have called, multiple times. Initially they said “no refund but we will pick it up” that later changed to “after all we cannot pick it up either you should donate or something”. Had I used any other building they would at the very least pick up after themselves. This is precisely they type of nonsense I picked Lowe’s not to have to deal with

Met Jadasia(sp)Who gathered my supplies, shook up the paint, and I was underway in about 10 minutes.I had dreaded going due to past experiences of walking all over the place and having to wait for assistance.Ready to get a Lowes card again..I cut my other one up.Kudos Lowes for the improvement.

Just shaking my head at this place….Two attempts at delivering patio furniture (both to wrong addresses) and it’s still not here.We ordered some patio furniture at the store on 3/5 to have delivered. The credit card used had a billing address at a business, but the delivery address was entered correctly. Two days ago, we get a call that some patio furniture (addressed to us) had showed up at my girlfriend’s workplace. We called Lowe’s to have them pick it back up and bring it to correct address. They noted that the Delivery Address was listed as our home address, but that it would probably be a couple of days before they could pick it back up and deliver it (seriously?) Fortunately, they were able to pick it up the next morning, but still couldn’t deliver it that day…So, today, my neighbor knocks on the door and hands me a Lowe’s slip and tells me we have some boxes at his house. Our address is 506. His is 504 (these are clearly marked on our doors). Not only that, they just drop the boxes off (weighing over 100 lbs each) right in front of the door where my neighbors can’t even get into their house.I’ve talked to 3 people at Lowe’s, each of whom points a finger at someone else. The store manager acted like it was our fault for the address mix up, and offered no apology or even an understanding. Just said he would call and try to get it sorted out.Will update this post when this issue gets resolved….[UPDATE]- Changed 1 star to 3 starsDonna with the 3rd party delivery service called and made everything right. Apologized for the mix-up(s) and had a guy over in 20 minutes to move boxes from neighbors house over to ours. Doesn’t change the 2 botched attempts, but at least someone provided some actual customer service. Thankful for that. And finally got our patio furniture….

I picked out my paint color went and got a bathroom vanity and when I finished I went to get the paint and it was ready and waiting on me. The young man loaded up the vanity and put it in the van. They were so much help and very kind. I will be back to Lowe's on Blackstock Rd in Spartanburg SC

I have not returned anything to Lowes in over a year. I purchased 6 motion sensor lights for my new house at Lowes. We went to Costco and found cheaper and better quality lights. I lost my debit card this week and I couldn't find the receipt. They would not give me store credit with my license. This is Crazy! I haven't returned anything in over a year there. I will take my business to Amazon, Target, Costco, and sams

I hate to give negative feedback.Spent over $100k with Lowe’s when built our house. Purchased all appliances in Lowe’s.Recent project to do patio pavers purchased 2.5 pallets of pavers around $1400 and 1 pallet of concrete mix around $300. Two bags left unused of concrete mix take it back and they refused to refund due to policy change no refund without receipt when paid with cash.Spoke with two managers NO HELP.Taking my business to HOME DEPOT!

It was nice to see the Tool reps in a Lowe's store for a change. Even though it was a Lowe's for Pro's luncheon, it allowed me to voice an opinion to my Tool line rep. This needs to happen more often because almost every time I walk onto a Depot during construction hrs I'll see a TTI rep, and personally, I'm not a fan of TTI

I asked 2 ppl for help that literally was standing on the isle I was on, they quickly told me, No, they on break. Ok so I found someone else, he said I'll find someone waited literally 20 mins no one came, they don't care at all about the customers, it's terrible & it's every time I've been in there, same thing.

Update: Clarissa was so kind and extremely helpful however the dude with the "cookies" shirt that loaded my truck was awful. First of all, he's on the phone cursing loudly while loading my truck with mulch. Instead of stacking neatly, he literally just threw each bag in willy nilly with zero care. Some of the bags burst from the way he threw them in. Going to talk with the manager about this guy. Very disrespectful!!!!

One of the best lowes around, was looking at a new refrigerator and they had a huge selection, new and even cheap used ones!, Staff was nice and helpful.
