About 10yrs ago this food lion was across the road and this location was actually a Bi-Lo grocery store. I preferred the food lion back then, but then they shut down and left. Which was crazy cos I felt at that time the food lion had a better floor plan/layout and the lighting was better.Now that it's in this location I don't really much care for it as much. There is nothing wrong with it. Has all the groceries you would expect to find in most American grocery stores. All the people are nice and polite. But just something about it that seems to bother me. I still come here from time to time cos it's closer to the house or in the way.

One star because of the cashiers and meat department workers. Try calling the meat dept and see how they speak to you. Smh. In person is no different . These people seem to hate their jobs! The lady in produce is very personable and one of the lady managers. I'm trying to not shop at Walmart, but these employees are making it difficult. The young heavy set white guy with the white hair is so mean it's ridiculous. I believe firing him could be detrimental to the store if you know what I mean. In my opinion he looks like the type that would return with nefarious intentions. Glad he was taken off of the cash register because he has the personality of an iguana. 🙄 Smh. Customer service is totally dead.

Grossly incompetent staff. Purchased 6 items but only 5 made it into the bag. Clerk was too busy chitchatting with her colleagues to do her job correctly. Called to ask about it and customer service confirmed it was still at the store; however, when I returned nobody knows where the bottle of Aleve is located. Not this first time this has happened here but it will be the last. Last visit to this Food Lion store, ever!

Always a good shopping experience here. 😊The store is always clean and the shelves well stocked. The staff is nice and professional, as well. I came the other day and there weren’t any honeydew but that’s just a preference and since I shop around regardless that’s nothing that would hinder me from returning. This Food Lion is on the way to my apartment and I’m always confident that I’ll be able to find what I need when I come in.Lately there have been some updates and the store is better. There are now self check lanes and even though there is still renovations taking place the store is still clean.I was tripping a little that the deodorant had to be in a safety box but I understand. Some people steal and obviously…deodorant is one of those items that keep walking out the door. I just appreciate the items that I prefer almost always being in stock. There has been more than one occasion where I’ve looked for an item elsewhere and it’s been out of stock but come here and you all had it. Thank you. 🙏💜😍 #IllBeBack

Since the renovation inside, it's great in here. Clean, well stocked, great variety. The rotisserie chicken is very sad though. I went elsewhere for that. Boniest, dried out, chicken (I think) that I've ever seen. Produce is very fresh. Friendly employees. Especially the cashiers, they're so sweet. The prices are decent, compared to other grocery stores. Coupled with digital coupons, through the rewards card, you can save some money.

Great prices. I honestly feel like they are looking out for me the customer on their prices and deals. Store looks much better since its facelift. 😍 yay for that. Good customer service. Easy to get in and out of via the light on to Reidville Road. Usually can find what I need here.

The bathroom was very clean and it smelled very pleasant. The store is always well lit, for my aging eyes. Good sales on meats and can goods.

Not what I expected! No finished floors and not even even! People talking about it taking so long to fix. Seems plumbing was in ceiling and now being put under the concrete floor, but they remain open. Also very dirty!

This is the second time I have bought bad fried chicken from the deli. I took the chicken back today and got another one when I got this one home also it was bad. When the grease is old or bad the chicken has a really nasty taste and a smell but when it's correct it's the best chicken ever nut I think I'm done buying the chicken I really love

My mom had tripped n fell from a grocery kart that shud not been there... N filled out an incident report n they didn't offer my mom nothing for this not looking for alot of money just for my mom pain n suffering ... My mom is 78 yrs old

The people who work here are nice but the store needs to be kept clean. I came at night and the floors were so filthy I didn't even want to walk on them. Self checkout was dirty, and cans on shelves have dust on them from ongoing construction. This level of uncleanness is not acceptable in a grocery store.

When I was in earlier the storeel was a little busy but there was one cashier that went above and beyond to help me. I didn't catch her name but she was a thin girl with glasses and I believe she had a green strip in her hair she is always very kind and gives me great customer service because of her I will continue using your store.

Wish customers behind you in line would get off their phones, not push their food right up to yours in line, and not walk away for a minute or two,... and pay attention! Isolated customer. Cashier rung up some sage on my bill, then asked for her sage back. Had to wait a few minutes while I got refunded for the sage I did not select. Not cashier fault. Food lion as a whole is good, but run into rude customers once in a while

Do all my shopping here. Can always guarantee a fast and easy check out with great customer service. Carts are always readily available, and the team helps you beyond check out if you need help loading your bags. Prices are great, and the sales are great too. If you know how to use coupons, you can save even more.

This is my first time in this store. It’s a nice store but the cashier did not even acknowledge me. She kept a constant conversation with the bagger about getting her hair done and something about a friend of hers. The only words she spoke were the amount due and she barely got that out. I was having trouble getting the debit card machine to work and she never tried to offer assistance. I felt like I was a bother.

We have been thrilled with the switch from Bi-Lo to Food Lion. The store is clean, the prices are fair, and the employees are helpful and hardworking, particularly the workers at the deli counter! The gentleman that works at the deli counter has gone above and beyond for us so many times, we've lost count. The top-notch customer service we receive at the Food Lion on Reidville road is a rarity, and makes grocery shopping a delight.

You have a great deli.The young man who works at night "Jason" is always so helpful. He always cuts the meat I order the right way and give you the best suggestions on what is good and what way is the best way to get it cut. I always look forward to seeing him when I come in.I was going to have hamburgers the other day and just popped around to wave when I saw him and I didn't realize that your Deli-Bakery was connected and he showed me the best hamburger buns that I have ever had that your bakery sales. They were great. I shop here at least twice a week now. Thanks 😊

Gave it 4 stars because there's this short older black lady with glasses who stands near the self checkout section I guess she's like a self check out monitor but she is always staring really aggressively at people not as if she thinks you're gonna steal but just dirty nasty looks. She just stares at you it's awkward and weird, and I hate seeing her whenever we come in there.
