I needed a few things. The Cashier was kind. I noticed this Dollar General offers a few fresh fruits and a few fresh vegetables (a small produce isle). Nice 👍🏾.

Went to this location and I was waiting at the register for about 10 minutes with no one coming to check me out. I yelled for assistance, but no one came. There was a lady who appeared to be shopping near the front of the store who saw me waiting the whole time. Turns out it was the cashier. Terrible service.

This store is terrible for cleanliness and customer service. There's always something wrong with the registers. I was overcharged for dogfood but I couldn't get a refund because the only one who could do it was on break. I hope they enjoy that extra5 dollars as it will be the last I spend in this store.

Coming in to shop after a 12 hour shift & it’s my first time shopping at this location. Mr. James was so delightful!!!! He smiled, he greeted, he had amazing customer service and he showed so much compassion. I thank you for people like him in this cruel world we live in today. Store was neat and organized. I will be back to see him and shop.

The nicest Dollar General in the Spartanburg area! Needs to be a "model" store for others in the area to go visit... They had clean floors and clear aisles, which is not the norm for all the others I've visited. Very few boxes of new stock around on the floors too. So nice to see shelves with product and organized! Great job and thanks for the store manager and employees at this location. 😊

They are in mid season redecorating and the isles are blocked with getting new inventory ready for the holiday rush. Plenty to choose from and easy parking. Helpful staff if you can find them away from the register. Don't forget to bring your $5 coupon for a nice % of savings.

Always wondered why this location could never keep employees the management has nasty attitudes and I just had a friend quit from out there because they refused to pay her after she worked her shifts because another employee quit and they didn’t have coverage and wanted to throw more hours on her even knowing that she has another job besides that one…I suggested she call the BBB with a complaint only thing is they say she’s “not in the system” yet they had her in there working

On my way to work. Stopped at 8:30am the place was s disaster! Stuff everywhere! Could not even get down ilses because of carts and overflowing with product, stuff in the floor, unpacked stock carts. Nothing on shelves or in correct places. Cashier was very friendly. Did not have anything stocked that I stopped in for. Needs a good overhauling and management. A retail store should never look like that.

Very clean, employee was very nice and helpful when I couldn't find an item. They had the precautions up for the customers and their employees to help slow the spread of any virus etc. Parking lot was easy to get in and out of. A very nice store.

Overall store is clean and well lit. Probably due to the Christmas rush, the store was quite a mess. Lots of stuff on the floor, many empty shelves, plan-o-grams not set yet. Think it's still worth the stop in.

I have yet to been in this store and it not be completely trashed stuff all over the floor Isles you can't even get through. Shelves barely stocked. My favorite is the cashier that you could definitely tell she did not want to be there.

I love the Dollar General store. I spend way too much money there. Their items are cheaper than other places. They put a Dollar General store in right down the street and it's so handy for anything I need. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

This is probably the worse General Dollar Store my wife and I has ever gone to. The place is ALWAYS a mess. The employees always say that it now under new management and will get better but it's been the same for over a year. I can help this store a great deal.

This store lives up to its convenience accept when it comes to accessing it on foot (or by vehicle unless you are traveling eastward). The staff is nice.Important: Spartanburg City Management can do better with making turn lanes & safer commute for pedestrian traffic at commercial sights on busy roads.

Store is always a mess and I've never seen a dollar general that leaves signs on the door like "be back in 5 mins".. store will be closing at 7 tonight because we dont have anyone to work..last week the sign said "closed until further notice"..at this point throw the whole store away! I gave them one star because the staff are so very nice

The Dollar General on Country Club Road in Spartanburg is the cleanest and most well managed store that I have ever visited! The manger is so friendly and she remembers our names and my son loves her. Luckily it’s close to my house because most others that I have visited have been a mess. I have to find someone to cash me out snd the stores are an unorganized mess. So if you like to see everything DG has to offer go, even if it’s out of your way visit the Country Club Road store!

Honestly, one of the wors DG experience a I ever had. The bathroom was disgusting and had no paper products. The ONLY employee was in the break room, leaving several elderly ladies standing for over 10 minutes. The clearance aisle had no pricing. When we asked about the pricing of clearance items he said the were unmarked because they were "recovering from a recent linr of terrible management". He was an ASSISTANT MANAGER. Ridiculous!

Can run in & out quickly , have anything you can need, always cheaper, always near by, nice employees will help you, never long lines, have a reduced $1 aisle! Why wouldn't you shop here?

the second me and my husband walked in the manager Amy Byrd started following us with a phone we shortly learned was calling the city police, once the police arrived she said a customer claimed we stole something which we did not so we voluntarily agreed to a search turning up nothing stolen of course, so if there was a star system we would give them zero so now our attorney will handle the rest for the public humiliation and racism due to us being the only white customers in the store,the manager called the police the moment we walked in cause the cops came less than five minutes after we arrived so if I was y'all I would not shop at this particular dollar general and this matter will not be dropped until our attorney and us are fully satisfied with the end result,we did not look like thieves or dress cheaply at all there was no reason other than our skin color that would cause Amy Byrd to call the police. If this is how dollar general operates then racism is fully alive and directed towards the white people and even the extremely kind black female officer said she would never come back to dollar general if she was us meaning we didn't deserve any of that public humiliation.

Now, I don't understand why DG shelves are never stocked completely!! I love DG but y'all are going to have to do better. We have DG's all over Spartanburg, South Carolina, bout 5 of them either you get rid of the workers or shut it down!!!

Clutter throughout the store. It was a mess. Couldn't get up and down the aisle or to the merchandise. No one to assist at register. Had to wait at the counter for 3-4 minutes for the only person there to come check us out.

Its too cluttered. Everything out of order. Personally, I'd prefer a clean well kept store with rude workers, than a cluttered nasty understocked, clutteted store with helpful people.
