A day before veteran’s day and I get profiled while at self-checkout. The worker kept walking around the checkout station I was at and when I finally checkout, I put the shopping basket up and walk over to the assistant store manager who was standing at the front watching (as I’m walking I look over to him and he gives her a thumbs up) I told her how he made me feel uncomfortable and she goes on to say he’s just doing his job because I’m standing here. We all know why he did that and why he gave her a thumbs up but I didn’t mention that I saw that or that I was a veteran because it was pointless. I’m very disappointed and disgusted.

I used to really like shopping here but not so much anymore. My coupons on the app never work. They always send me to customer service yet there's never anyone there so I end up waiting. The bakery bread is moldy. Last time I just wanted to exchange it for another bag but all of the bread was moldy that was out on the shelf. I went back a few weeks later and figured I'd check the bread cause surely they've fixed the issue. Nope, all the bags of small sliced french bread were moldy. The store manager was standing in the bakery, he came over and snatched the bag away from me. I started to tell him how this is a recurring problem and he cut me off and walked away. Super rude. The hot food has flies and other bugs, it's not very good anyway though so don't recommend. It's a shame because this location used to be nice. 🤷

Food Lion in Pelzer is the best of the Food Lion's it use to be the Bi-Lo and I know where everything is that I need

Great manager who can always be found working just like other employees. He has even cut Filet Mignon for me a couple of times when the meat cutter had left for the day. He is also helpful and thanks customers for shopping at Food Lion. I have read in the newspaper where he has been recognized by corporate for his excellent reaults at the Pelzer store.

Big surprise at this local grocery store! There must be lots of bakers in Pelzer! The selection of extracts blew my mind. I grabbed more than I intended. I picked up a couple of cake pans too. The staff at this store were very nice, friendly and so helpful. When I checked out, the young man made sure I was buying 2 cake pans and they were not accidentally stacked. That may not seem like a big deal, but I find so often people do not care. He was so very nice. We moved to the area last year. I just found my grocery store. I loved everything about the store. It was very, very clean and nicely stocked. I was looking for candy. Two very nice young men told me exactly where to find what I needed and pointed me in the right direction. Again, so very nice.

Sometimes it's stocked well but sometimes it's not. I do miss Bi Lo as I shopped there for 40 years at least. Have to get used to this store is all.

I love coming into any food lion. The produce is always fresh and plentiful, the meat department is always stocked, and the store is always clean. This particular store, though, looks as if it's still got some remodeling going on.

Went there today 12pk if diet Dr pepper had sign 5.99 was charged 8.99? Bought salad premade, lettuce brown. May be time to go further to shop. Asked for a 1/2lb turkey lunch meat, chipped apparently they don't know what chipped is. Happy with some prices, but they are getting like Hilo was! Expensive!!

They recently remodeled this location and I must say it looks amazing. This is one of the nearest and cleanest stores I've ever been in..You never see a single item out of place. The staff is always super helpful and I always enjoy shopping at particular Food Lion.

Until yesterday I had nothing bad to say about this food lion the store employees are great and everything except one thing they let people bring in there non service dogs or pets this is not I don't understand I don't won't buy my food where a pet has been I do support service animals also I'm not anti dog but I'm pro sanitize I really brother me that people can be this I calling DHEC people it must be stopped I'm reporting this matter

Not sure what Food Lion was thinking when they took this store over. They definitely took a very strong store that made money and turned it into something that I try to never go in. All I have to stay is once Ingles opens they might as well shut this store down. Food Lion might want to reconsider shutting down pharmacy and the Deli hot bar and they may want to hire actual meat cutters. Those are just places that I would start.

Favorite grocery store by far. Really close to my home. They have all that you want. You can just make a request if there's anything you need. Staff is very well trained and polite.

3 times in a row before 5 p.m the deli didn't have any fried chicken.Fryer was shut down for the night.Produce dept is always out of sale items.Cashier didn't welcome me or thank me.That is just basic courtesy.

I have never hated a grocery store more than this one, and it unfortunately is the only one in town. They have little to no variety, and are always sold out of the few things I need badly enough to consider shopping here. The store is messy/dirty looking and has been "under construction" since I moved here a year ago. The produce is overripe or underripe, never ripe, there's a poor meat selection, and even worse cheese selection, and im pretty sure the employees hate it there as much as I do. Once Ingles is built I doubt this store will remain in business. I would rather drive 40 minutes round-trip to publix than ever set foot in this place again.

I don't like the remodeling and moving customer service. I believe snack tables were set up outside the bathrooms that use to behind a wall. No one around to ask for help. Cashiers were friendly, I did find a couple things I needed marked down $1.50. Keep marking things back down food lion . Maybe others will get the drift to do same!!
