It's almost impossible to shop here. Clutter everywhere. Ladders and unpacked inventory in front of shelves in almost EVERY aisle. I understand many places are understaffed; however, it has to affect sales. I know I would have purchased more if I could have found/seen items. Friendly cashiers.

U wouldn't even give a star to this store. It is the worst store on this beach. Employees never working shelves always empty. Carts full of inventory blocking every single isle.. this is every single time I go in this store. They need to just fire every single person shut the doors and open something else. Completely ridiculous 🙄

I am very very VERY disappointed in this store! The male cashier is very rude, doesn’t speak when spoken to, asked him how his day was and all I got was a “I don’t know!!” I also told him “I’m so sorry to hear that and I hope your day gets better!” NO RESPONSE!!! I also had a coupon issue and he didn’t want to help me at all!!!! They also are very slack on stocking their shelves!! It used to be my favorite dollar general, but now I will not return!!

Love the friendly staff that is always willing to help and remembers the locals. Store is always kept clean and very well organised. If you need to know where something is they are ready, willing, and always helpful finding things. They make you feel like family.

I believe that when reviewing you should set your expectations according to the kind of place you are visiting. Since I've been to many Dollar general stores, I will compare this one to others. The store is in a good location and has the normal items you would expect from a Dollar general store that you can pick up conveniently without having to spend forever going into a Walmart. my problem with this particular location however is that every time I go in it it is a cluttered mess. I usually visit during daylight hours and there is so much clutter by the door that is hard to get in. I do not understand why they don't stock their shelves at night instead of during the day because whenever I'm there I often have difficulty getting into areas to look at things because they have stuff sitting in the aisles that needs unpacked. The store feels cramped and disorganized really could use a little TLC.

Called to inquire about a product, the girl with the name that starts with an L had an attitude and told me she had to finish with her current customer before she will help me and to hold. Ok understandable. Well as that customer was done, she kept helping other in store customers and checking them out, have convos, giggling with the other in-store customers and workers as well. Needless to say after 14 minutes of waiting I hung up, because they just refused to answer or acknowledge me. It was literally a 30 second question and answer. I called 15 minutes after that to see if I could get through again and the line has a busy time. They still haven't grabbed the phone. Poor customer service skills were demonstrated. I won't go to this one anymore.

Nice employees . Make a big differance when I'm shopping . Here there super nice and helpful . I needed to find something and they showed me exactly where to get it . I don't know who manages this store but I wished you lived in Hanceville Al . The dollar general in Alabama I will not shop in. Great job little river SC....

This dollar store location used to be my favorite one. Now I only give them a one star they do not have half the things that you're looking for especially Dr Peppers in the freezer every single day no doctor peppers in that freezer along with many other items that are unavailable at this location so now I am forced to drive 5 miles either direction to a different Dollar General who carries the products that we're looking for especially Dr Peppers in the freezer this place is getting boycotted by half the people in Little River South Carolina

Friendly staff! Store is neatly organized and clean. We are down visiting the beach and were able to walk around in bathing suits and socks.

Digital Coupons continue to confuse associates and customers. We were set to save $30 on our purchases and once again the staff couldn't figure it out, so we could score any of the savings. Why people aren't able to qualify for savings without having to understand a Smartphone and an App is discriminatory to Seniors, the blind and the financially disadvantaged.You spend thousands in advertising to get me into your store, only to offend me.

Most of the Dollar Generals are great. On this day they had a lot of stock in the aisles waiting to be put up. Otherwise, normally a great location to visit.

Will not honor wrong labels. Even though it the stores fault. The employees were also very rude about it stating it's the vendors fault and there's nothing they could do. Which is a lie. They could over ride it especially when it was only a couple of dollars.

I try not to go to a Dollar General. they are very overpriced employees are very unhelpful and most of the time very rude stuff they sell is just junk or a cheap imitation of the real thing

This place is so clothed. Can't get threw the aisle boxes, rolling racks with boxes. Sleeves with no merchandise on it.

Repeatedly said we had a reusable bag. Each time we said it, Robin just said "good for you" in a rather condescending tone and kept bagging our items in a plastic bag.

This store is always nasty when going there. I will be going to the new down the road. This store should be closed. Very unorganized. Not to mention tripping over boxes and garbage they leave in the floor

These things are popping up everywhere right but I've got to say I have not been to a Dollar General that hasn't had decent service and just about anything you need in a pinch Plus prices are pretty competitive with bigger chains like Walmart but the DG right here in Little River has had some pretty friendly employees

The place is a mess. A lot of shelves are missing items out of stock. Does not look clean and can't find anything I was looking for.
