I don’t understand why no one answers the damn phone? It’s so frustrating when you need the pharmacy’s help and day in and day out they just won’t answer. Just a warning don’t ever call them from 1-1:30 because…I GUESS….they are gearing up for their break at 1:30 so they will not answer. Do not waste your time. I can’t stand it. There is no way this meets the companies standards!! ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!

I made 5 trips today to pickup my prescription because of the dismissive and condescending attitude of two of pharmacist one named Robin. My concerns and health needs were trivialized today. I will never use the services at this location.

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service in the pharmacy department. (The retail side was great)They have delayed filling my medication, and when I asked they shared they laughed and said that they were short staffed and there is nothing they can do.Already transferred my pharmacy, do not waste your time filling anything here- you won’t get your meds.

I just want to know WHO is over this pharmacy??? This CVS has gone from bad to worse over the past year. Who can afford to make 3 trips to get your medicine and it is never READY! I have used this CVS for 25 years and you can bet I will never use it again! My doctor will be sending my prescriptions somewhere else, and that will be my recommendation to everyone I know.. such a shame no one can get their service in good condition. I am so disappointed in CVS management!

Pharmacy used to be awesome ! Last 6 mos awful staffing issues. Medication refills are never ready when promised . Have waited as long as 2 hours . Upper management really needs to make changes in this pharmacy .I'll be moving my to rx to another sister location. Its become an issue just to get refills every month.Should'nt be stressful to get your medication refilled.

Pharmacy is absolutely awful! Prescription are never ready on time. Pharmacy tech told me they are week behind! How is that even possible?? They have had 7 hours to get my sick child ready.

CVS on hwy 17 & hwy 9 are the worst Pharmacies I've ever dealt with. Drive thru is closed most of the time and there Slow. My meds was called in on Friday and Monday they said they was a week behind that's why I had to wait still not filled. HORRIBLE

The pharmacy drive thru being closed is majorly inconvenient. It has caused me to be late picking up my medicine because I can't leave my car sometimes. The line inside is so long and slow, not to mention there are sick people that need medication waiting in those long lines

Called 3 separate times: first time held 17minutes, second time held 20 minutes or so, third time literally on hold while writing this review, working on 24 minutes now. Gave them 2 stars because they are usually average but their are times I have issues with the pharmacy as well.Had to update my review, drove to the pharmacy. 45 minutes waiting on phone. Guy stands in front of me at the counter, with 1 other tech and 1 pharmacist , "we don't answer phones all day, we can't answer em. Nothing we can do about it."☝️🧐 umm escuzy. No thank you.Raging at cvs. Dropping to 1 star.

We love our CVS. Joshua and ALL the Pharmacy staff work so very hard. The entire store is organized and well managed. They are so gracious and helpful. I am sure we are a demanding clientele. Please know you are appreciated!!

Maybe the worst pharmacy in the world. They charged me one price for a 30 day script(the normal price that I’ve paid for years), then charged me 100x that price for a 5 day script, a 5 day script that was made at their behest, not at mine or my doctors. My doctor gave me a single 35 day script, CVS split it into 2 separate scripts(30 and 5) then upcharged me 100x when I tried to pick up the remaining 5 day supply. They won’t answer your phone calls so don’t even bother calling them, as a matter of fact maybe just don’t even bother with this pharmacy in general. I’ve waited for 4 hours on hold throughout the past 2 days, just to be hung up on after about 40-45 minutes of waiting before trying again and experiencing the same result. I’m on day 2 without my medication because no one there will help resolve their mistake. It’s a medicine that I’m not supposed to go without but I will not be upcharged 100x the original price for 1/6th of the medication. Disgraceful.

It’s sad how over worked the pharmacy workers are, they shorten the staff over working who they have. Can’t get meds takes days to not be in a line for hrs, window stays closed because CVS won’t give the pharmacy the help they need. For being a corporation it should do better.

I tried to pick up my prescription 4 different times this week each time the drive-through line went all the way to the street. I couldn’t wait that long. I tried calling with two phones I was simultaneously on hold for 2 1/2 hours, (automatically hung up on at 45 minute intervals). Even calling the providers line, they refused to pick up on those calls as well. I left a message stating that I would be transferring all business from CVS. This is not the first time this is happened. Their phone system is simply awful. I’m taking my business to Seashore Drugs, an old-time, family type drugstore, who answers their phones!

If your medicine is important, do you do not use this pharmacy. They randomly close, sometimes end up with the wrong medicine sometimes, they just don’t fill it when you know the doctor called it in. I don’t know if all of the CVS’s are terrible but this one is.

Worst pharmacy in the world!!!!! Never has any staff. would rather have me sit there in the drive thru and look at me than tell that it’s close. Have me wait on the phone for an hour just to get ahold of somebody. Please fix this place.

I’m updating this review as of October, 2021. It was a 1 star before, and I’ll keep it that way. I need to warn people about this business. As of recently, they show how much they care about their customers by only allowing the pharmacy drive thru to operate under the hours of 5 PM - 8 PM. This makes it a challenge for the majority of your customers, including my disabled/immune compromised mother. I understand covid protections, but that makes more people go into the store. That forces my mom to deal with chronic pain and health risk because now she has to go into your store. I’m not surprised about this because of what happened to me in January that proves how little this establishment cares about your life or health: The manager, Brian, does not care about the health of the customers, and the pharmacists are not trained properly. ONLY Robin knows what she’s doing. I’ve placed PHYSICAL scripts into the hands of pharmacists at this establishment and still had my medicine forgotten. My refills have taken weeks when they should have taken an hour or two. When I called Brian in January/February about the fact that my medication had been mishandled for an entire year, he copped an attitude and tried to argue with me about medications I take instead of try to refill my 1 missing medicine. He truly could not comprehend the fact that I needed my medication to keep moving forward and that he and his staff were jeopardizing our health with their negligence and mishandling of mediation. Yes, I did let corporate know. Please be wary when you need to go to CVS; I highly recommend using the NMB or Calabash one for your own health and safety, especially if your medication is something you need daily. They truly don’t care here.

This CVS location is dedicated to keeping the community safe! Unlike the Hwy. 9 location, these folks truly know what they’re doing and allowed me to get my COVID test in a timely fashion. I took my girlfriend, who is the same age as me (17) to the Hwy. 9 location, and they tried telling us that she needed a Parent/guardian because she is under 18, when the video she was told to watch before going to get tested said that children 15 and under needed a guardian, not 18. We had to wait in the line for nearly an hour just for her to not get tested, despite the multiple symptoms she is showing and her exposure to a family member who has tested positive. If you want to assure that your health and safety is in good hands, go to THIS CVS on Hwy. 17, closer to the SC/NC border. It is certainly worth the drive if you are anywhere in the Little River area. I applaud them for their commitment to safety in the midst of a pandemic that is only getting worse and worse.

My mom took my son's prescription to be filled around 4. They told her it would be ready after 7 due to them being backed up. So, I stopped on my way home from work to pick itup. As I pulled into the parking lot, 1 car was in the drive thru line. I pulled up behind the car and waited for my turn. FIFTEEN minutes later, I realize the car in front of me is turned off! They are sitting there! I saw a lady come to the window a couple of times as if asking them something and then leave! By then, cars were lined up to the road! People behind me started leaving. It's ridiculous to make several people wait while they fill a prescription in the drive through. This is the 3rd time this has happened. Really disappointed in CVS. I'm switching pharmacies.

Had an emergency visit to a doctor for an upper respiratory infection and I knew my regular pharmacy would be closed so I decided to stop on my way home to fill prescription. The clerk who took my insurance card had to be the worse trained pharmacy tech I have ever experienced. I knew I was in trouble when she asked me in no less than 4 times my birthday, then repeat my address, then she kept forgetting the zip code and then asked me when I had used my card...it had expired. I had just used it at the doctor's office which lead to her getting snippy and we both had a melt down. I asked the other tech to help her and I swear she was a little better but I ended up with no meds...both saying my card had expired. Of course took it to my regular pharmacist and there was no issue with my card. He assure me it was a current card until January. I remember now why I quit using CVS.

Only reason I gave 1 star is I researched store closures for three stores local to Little River and North Myrtle beach on December 23rd and all stores were closed despite call line to each store, google and websites all indicated later closure times. CVS needs to update all three resources !!!
