Do not ever shop here! If you are not a certain type of person, they will make sure to let you know it and treat you accordingly. Very rude employees and always seem like you are getting on their nerves. They need to put a sign out front that says experienced and knowledgeable customers only. And their return policy is bogus. It’s because of businesses like this that people start to branch out and not shop local anymore. I would never patronize this business if it was my only local availability.

Money better spent elsewhere for running a farm or the unfortunate task of dealing with horses. You’ll get better, cheaper, not shopping here. Also, after hours random dudes in budget tactical gear like to gather in the driveway, plenty of 3% decals and patches happening. Pretty obvious what’s up.

What a fantastic place, I moved down here from up north about a year ago, I decided in my retirement years I would love to have horses which I’ve always had as a kid and growing up. I found the hay hut has absolutely everything I need and what a friendliest crew, courtesy, when they deliver, they’re always willing to help unload, it doesn’t get better than this, the staff seems to always be friendly and willing to help in. Anyway, they can, as an outsider coming in and meeting some of the nicest people in the south, very highly recommend

I’ve never shopped here before because I live about an hour away. But when I needed pony blankets, the staff was awesome and checked available sizes for me before I came. Many stores were not so co-operative. A+

This store definitely has everything you need. Even things you didn't realize you needed. The store owner is a polite man. The warehouse workers really work hard and you can tell that they genuinely care about their jobs.Also one of the warehouse workers is super cute and incredibly friendly. I'll come back for employees like him! (friendly & helpful)

Very good prices on most of the things you need for farm and house. High quality merchandise. Sometimes they carry what you need instead of what you think you want. Being something of a traditional country feed store, time seems to slow here, so not always the best place if you're in a hurry. No cell reception inside.

Very unknowledgeable and rude staff. I went in with the intentions of getting several sacks of feed and a few medical supplies for our flock. With the recent increase in price of feed at my current supplier I’m on the hunt for a new place. I currently spend about $150 a week on feed. It will not be spent here. I left with nothing and will not be returning. You’d get better and more knowledgeable help at tractor supply. It was a very disappointing experience.

We were in need of a new head catch for our cattle. They had exactly what we needed. The store is excellently stocked and every one were very helpful. Jacob is an awesome young man and was super helpful.

Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and knowlegable. Don helped me figure out what pasture seed mix to buy and saved me $400! He also answered all my auestions on manure spreaders...i was looking for a small one which they carry as well as the larger ones. He made me feel like i was the only person there...i was nervous so he made my experience and day great! Definately going to buy feed there when im ready...cant wait to buy my horse stuff too! Great western stuff!

I was with my mom when we couldn’t find our dog food we asked the lady at the counter and she said outside. We look outside and did not find any dog food. We waited in line to ask the man at the counter and it took ten minutes for him to exchange something for another unhappy customer. As the customer left another customer walked in and instead of helping us (who had been waiting for 10 minutes) he helped the guy who had just walked in and completely ignored us. Horrible customer service.

This store is a great resource for the agricultural community including the equine community. A good source for general hardware, agricultural supplies and equipment as well as general supplies for your horse. I was looking for a Mill Creek manure spreader. I called them and they had the model I was looking for in stock. However, after the long drive to this store, I found that they had the size unit I wanted by not the model. After some discussion, an offer was made on the one in stock that I couldn't refuse. I left a very happy customer. And will return to shop when I need more ag equipment.

I've been a customer for years and had my first attempt to return an item that we couldn't use. I had spoken with an employee when I originally purchased it and told them exactly what I needed. When the item broke our first use (because it wasn't the proper kind of halter I needed) I tried to return it. In front of all his employees and other customers with my four children under the age of 8 present, I was talked down to and told I should have read the label better. I was told "What can I do with this now? You should have known it wasn't what you needed." I have never been more embarrassed and angry. We will be purchasing our regular feed orders elsewhere.

The owner is a cheapskate and a dirty rotten snake. He can't keep employees and his customer service skills are 0. His untrained staff sold us products that killed our animals and all he did was say "not my fault not our responsibility, what are you gonna do sue me? I ain't scared of you or anyone else for that matter." I am beside myself. All I asked was reimbursement for the animals that died since his staff told us their products were safe. Now we are out animals and money. Never again.

I asked for 2 wheat straws and when I got loaded there was only 1 on ticket . I didn't have glasses with me and it's embarrassing because the young man probably thought I was pulling a fast one . I did go back inside and pay for additional bale .

I love the hayrack! They got the best lumber, anything you can imagine for animals, and miscellaneous home repair items. Don the owner is a great guy and Jourdanne is a wonderful person. Great staff

Most of the people are friendly there and I love the atmosphere, but DON'T buy fescue hay here, or if you do, check it first. They'll sell you a bale that's totally rotten for $5.50 and not take returns. Sometimes they have a great supply and other times it is just terrible.

Hay terrible quality!! The hay I bought was full of sticks and thorns. The shavings are stored outside and were soaking wet when I bought them, along with that when we opened our feed bag we were shocked to find mold growing in it! Also the employees are beyond rude! Funny how the store is named "Hay" rack but yet there hay is some of the worst quality hay I have ever seen!
