Huge shout out to Charming Grooming Boutique Daycare and Charming Mobile for taking such good care of our Sasha today. We recently adopted Sasha from a bad situation. I called several groomers and let them know I expected Sasha to be a challenge to groom. But my poor Sasha desperately needed a professional to take care of her lifelong neglected fur/matting. The ONLY groomer to get back to me was Gwen. Without hesitation Gwen told me to bring her down that morning. The job she did on Sasha was increible! I think Sasha might of even enjoyed her first pampering experience ;) I cannot thank Gwen, Taylor, and Julie enough for being so kind and patient with this shy girl. The bows also melted my heart ❤️

Chose this shop on the strength of the reviews. I spoke to the owner who gave me the impression she could groom a Standard Poodle. She had my dog for six and half hours and what I saw when I picked him up is clearly shown in the photo I've included. His entire coat (what remains of it) is done to this level. All four legs are clipped differently, his ears were not cleaned or plucked, the paw pads were not clipped, the area around his right eye is cut so close you can see skin. His hair is dull and there is no smell of shampoo...the list goes on. It takes hours to properly groom a dog but just a few minutes and no skill to shear a sheep which is exactly what my dog looks like. Had to give at least one star to post...I'd chose less than zero.

Gwen is always good to my fur babies and they love her & her staff!! I drive 2 1/2 hours because Gwen is the ONLY groomer my Roxie Lee will let groom her!! Reasonable prices for wonderful, caring service!! Plus, she carries everything from food, clothing, accessories/essentials, toys to special treats, all for your furbabies!!! She grooms every baby from tiny ones to big babies, dogs & cats.I won't use another groomer because I already have the BEST--- Gwen at Charming Grooming!!

Gwenn is the best. I have two golden doodle puppies. She has been grooming them since they were four months old. They are now a year old. I feel comfortable knowing they are right outside my door and not spending hours in a pet salon. She also handles my very old 13+ year old dog who is not easy. She puts her at ease and does a great job with her bathing and cutting. I appreciate having this service here in Lake Lure. I make my monthly appointments while she is here because she does stay booked up. She is the only mobile groomer willing to climb this mountain we live on!! Thank you again. We truly appreciate you.

Gwen is the best! She did such a great job with our little King Charles cavalier spaniel. Our dog usually has separation anxiety, but she went right into Gwen’s shop happily! This was our first visit, but we will be back soon. Gwen is super nice, did a great job, and is very reasonably priced. Absolutely recommend Gwenn to all! Ten stars!!!!

Gwen & Holly are the ABSOLUTE BEST when it comes to my dog, she hates leaving me but when she's there she loves it. They do a wonderful dog with big & little dogs. Highly recommend!!

Was told to have Maggie (Blue Heeler) there between 9-10am for a bath. Was told she would be ready for pick up by 1pm. It was 3:45pm when I was called to come pick her up. When I got there she tried to give me a small dog named Maggie. Was told to wait 15-20 minutes and my Maggie would be ready. Probably 4:30 when she finally brought her out. She said her assistant didn't come in that day so she was really backed up. I am sure she was overwhelmed.

Gwen is a great groomer, and truly cares for my dogs, like that are her own. The price quoted ,was the price paid. No nickel and diming you at Charming! I highly recommend, that you take your furry friends to see her!

I actually went in the paint store right next door to the doggie saloon. Those guys are very helpful and friendly. Benjamin Moore has the BEST paint of any brand I've ever used. I'm glad to have a small town, independent, non big-box store close to where I live. I support small, local business.

She grooms my pekepoo and shih tzu and they look amazing. You can tell she treats my babies just like she treats her own pets - like part of the family. I'm very happy with her work and the convenience of the mobile grooming is an added perk. One of my biggest concerns in moving from IL to SC was finding a dog groomer that I loved and trusted as much as the one my dog had been going to since she was a puppy...and I'm thankful I found Charming Grooming.

You can tell if my dog does not like a groomer. He does not show any fear what so ever.Tired Jacob and his fluffy fur cut, last week. He dragged his backside through the mud as soon as we got home.I had to laugh, the irony.

I took an older skiddish dog in that is scared of everyone and everything. She loves it there and the people there. She went into the back with no issues!
