What a great experience for my kitty at Well Pets! The walk-in service was great and everyone was friendly and polite. I absolutely loved the lobby layout. It is an emergency room so waiting is normal but once it was our turn, my kitty was treated well and taken care of! So happy to have a veterinarian available until 10pm at night!! Reasonable prices too! Go see them!

The doctors at Well Pets are highly qualified and take wonderful care of my dogs. They explain everything to me where I can understand what they are saying. They act as though I am the only client they have for the day and they never rush. The staff at Well Pets are nice, kind, and very very patient. They keep me informed and they keep me straight. I am 73 and the staff and doctors have never made me feel as though my mind is less than…….. they just help me remember. This alone makes for a very very special team at Well Pets.

I can't say enough about this vet practice, most especially Dr Richardson. I was seen with no prior history within 2 days, treatment was effective, costs were reasonable. My cat ended up being diagnosed with something rare but had the Doctor not taken the time to research and speak with other vets we might not have ever known what the issue was. As we are leaving the country shortly time was something we did not have. This issue has been going on for multiple months before being seen at Well Pets and I am impressed with their dedication and treatment. Bravo for going above and beyond, Freya and I thank you!

Brought our dog in closer to 7pm because he was acting extremely off and they handled him so well. They quickly found what was wrong and made it easy for us to communicate his information with our home vet. The vet was also so good with our dog, even getting down on the floor to make him comfortable. Truly a wonderful and caring place! I completely recommend bringing your dog to Well Pets if there’s an emergency

Came to Well Pets this week with an emergency for our sweet dog and appreciate all the care and kindness we received as we had to face surgery - twice in a matter of days! The front desk receptionist was supportive and helpful, and the veterinarian gave us the confidence we needed to leave our girl there for treatment. We feel she was treated very well. She is now recovering at home and we are so grateful. Thank you, Well Pets!

The clinic was able to see our dog the same day she got hurt. The doctor did a very thorough examination and put our mind at ease. They followed up the next day to see how she was doing. We sadly had to visit because our 11 year old Shar Pei/Mastiff, Sarah Jane, had experienced a significant downturn in her health. We weren't able to be seen by our regular vet so we took her to Well Pets Urgent Care. The staff was so kind and caring, giving us all the time and grace to make the difficult decision to say goodbye. There was a complication but the vet and vet tech was so so patient, taking the time to explain what was happening and why, before continuing. They helped our baby girl cross the Rainbow Bridge quietly.Thank you to all the staff for your loving and tender handling of 2 incredibly grieving puppy parents.

I've been there a few times for my cats. Felt nothing but judged and bc I didn't have every penny for my cat, they made her wait and suffer instead of just euthanizing her and then worry about payment. If you aren't low income then you're good to go.

Fantastic Pet CareOn Feb 5, 2024; on the advice of a much trusted veterinarian who previously cared for my dogs, I contacted and visited the Well Pets Veterinary Clinic to get urgent care for one of my Chiweenie mix dogs who was very sick and suffering intensely.From the time I called the clinic, throughout the visit and  until the Vet-tech held the door for me to exit (with my dog, Silk, in crate), we received exceptional care and service from every staff member we contacted.Doctor Miller was absolutely caring and thorough.  And while she pulled out all the stops she could to assess the issues, short of a miracle, Silk could not be saved...  Thankfully, however, Dr. Miller made her as comfortable as possible so I could take her home to spend one last night with her sibling's and parents.  For that I am truly grateful.Thank you Well Pets!

This has become our standard vet. The staff is great. Everyone is nice. They give you a breakdown of everything they are going to do and the cost before they do it so you can sign off or change what you want done. Dr. Seay is thorough and professional. He even called me personally to review it dog's blood test results. Very pleased with Well Pets.

New to the area and my furbaby was having a terrible time with the pollen. Brought her in to the Urgent care for a possible ear infection. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind and the wait was short. The vet and vet tech were both caring, professional and provided excellent care for my furbaby. I was advised of the options of diagnostic testing, treatment options, including costs. After swabbing/confirming an ear infection and allergies, my little darling had her ear thoroughly cleaned and medication administered. She was treated with loving care. Staff followed up the next few days to see how my sweetheart was doing. I highly recommend Well Pets Veterinary Clinic for their professional care.

We were able to go on a Sunday. They got us into a room fairly quickly but the wait for the vet was a little long as there were only two. However, the care and concern for my fur baby was real and they kept me informed and educated me on everything they did. We have been berj going to Well Pets for years and highly recommend.

Dr. Hunter was amazing and caring. Answered all questions and overflowed with compassion. The shift lead, Jessica, left a lot to be desired. I don’t remember the tech’s name that initially brought me back, but both of them lacked compassion, and were impatient when I had to figure out how I was going to pay for a procedure that I was unprepared for. Basically an “F you, pay us” attitude. Dr. Hunter chalked it up to it being a rough day, but I don’t think anyone in distress should be treated like less than a human. I hope it truly was just a bad day, and others don’t get the same demeanor from them. If I was met with any sort of understanding and care from the staff, it would’ve been a pleasant experience. They were swift, but simply just that. I wanted to apply for their scratch pay before forking over a hefty deposit, and Jessica called me disrespectful, and told me if I wasn’t happy with them, I was welcome to go somewhere else, when I wasn’t rude, I just wanted a minute to apply for their loan, which did, in fact, take a minute.

Staff was friendly information and welcoming. Dr. Hunter and tecs we're kind and absolutely treated my old lady dog as if she was their little old lady dog! Even obliged to her demands for love! We arrived at 7:00 and left just before closing because they were running behind. Have to tell you waiting for Dr. Hunter was well worth it!

Our cat has been seen here twice with good results! The first time was as a walk-in, and & I didn't have to wait long. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The building is very nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this vet clinic to anyone.

I am so thankful for Well Pets today. We have used Well Pets in the past, but have recently been using a vet closer to our house and jobs for convenience.Our beagle was diagnosed with Lymphoma in August and this week has been really rough for him. Watching him suffer this morning was heartbreaking and I did not even go to work because I was so worried about him…but even after describing his condition (unable to walk comfortably/feet sliding because he’s too weak, breathing struggles, could not use the bathroom comfortably, had to be carried up the stairs, did not have the desire to come out of his crate), our *normal/now FORMER* vet office still told us they couldn’t see us until tomorrow, and would only be able to squeeze us in today “if he got any worse”, and it would just be an appointment to be checked before they would even agree to euthanize, (even though they diagnosed him with cancer 3 months ago). Our dog could NOT wait another day. They also did not give us the level of empathy we deserved when we called today and never return our calls when requesting refills for his pain meds and steroids. I’m sure they were following protocol and doing what they could….but honestly just felt and sounded like they didn’t care.However, when we called WELL PETS, they listened to our concerns over the phone, told us to come as soon as we needed to, made us feel comfortable bringing him in, let us come to the side door, did not make us feel awkward for crying hysterically, offered to get his paw prints for us, offered us treats to give him, did not make us feel guilty if we needed to walk out at anytime during the process, allowed us to say goodbye to him, explained things thoroughly, told us they were so sorry we had to go through this, allowed us to pay quickly beforehand so we didn’t have to pay after we left, AND we were in and out within 35 minutes since it’s a weekday. Well Pets made this awful process so much easier for us than we ever expected it to be. We will never go anywhere else from now on, especially for serious issues or end of life care.

Being fairly new to the area, I had no established vet. I was a weekend walk-in. Building was clean and odor free. Staff was friendly and helpful. Doc was good and understaning. The old girl is fifteen and got a quick cancer dx. There was a quick assessment of my thoughts and no pressure to pursue anything but comfort measures. Nicely done for an unpleasant situation.

I drove all the way from Augusta, GA for an emergency visit since I couldn't find anyone locally to see my dog on a Saturday afternoon. From my first contact over the phone the staff was very proffesional and carrying! The girl at the font desk Anastasia was very proffesional and sweet. Also, hats down to the vet tech Alex who so carrying, proffesional, and super nice! And, doctor Hunter was amazing, knowledgeable, and down to earth. I had a great experience overall. I will definitely recommend this clinic to everyone!

I went first thing on a Saturday morning and was taken right in. They took great, and fast care of my dog and even worked with me to use recent bloodwork results so I didn't have to pay more for extra ones there. They were extremely gentle with my dog who was in pain, and explained everything thoroughly and simply. It was worth driving all the way to Irmo to go see them, and it wasn't as expensive as I was anticipating.

My cat was seen at another vet Saturday. He was diagnosed with FIP. My cat took a turn for the worse Monday morning and our usual vet was out. When we called Well Pets to ask about putting him down because he was basically dying in my arms when I called the women who answered the phone was extremely rude. She just kept responding "oh okay" with the most annoyed sound and then told me I needed to wait until 9am for an appointment. It was 8:10am at that point. My cat wouldn't have made it until then. We have taken our cat here before and never had problems but I will never return because the lady on the phone showed no compassion or even pretended to show compassion.
