Can’t say enough about Red Rover! We took Agatha (our 4yo GS) to their DYI dog wash after 2 weeks’ worth of beach walks. The set up is super functional, everything you need is there (we were vacationing) and the staff were very helpful & friendly. Our experience was so positive, we booked a Double Bubble spa experience with Blake almost 2 weeks later. Agatha was welcomed like a queen, and was ready for pick up at the time we were given, looking absolutely fresh & fabulous. Blake did a fantastic job, and Agatha loved him! We will be back when we’re vacationing in HHI again

Red Rover was a life saver!! While we were vacationing in Hilton Head with our tiny furbaby canine family member Jake. Red Rover was able to watch our baby overnight on short notice for 4 nights 5 days. Our Jake is a Tiny 6 lb 9 year old Yorkie that is a sweet lap dog. He is very needy with a bit of separation anxiety. We were able to vacation and have Jake stay out of the heat while we vacationed and explored and spent time at the beach. Red Rover was also able to accommodate Jake with his special diet while we stayed at a condo that doesn't allow dogs. We appreciate Red Rover and it's knowledgable staff. The Owner is very friendly and invited us to see where our baby would be staying. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting or on vacation in Hilton Head reading this review. Red Rover is an exceptional place. The owner and staff were professional, helpful, and courteous. Since this was our first time boarding, we came to visit him every day. During these visits, it was obvious the staff has clearly been tuned in to our dog's needs and temperament. For example, one staff member was able to tell us which specific dogs had become his best friends. Similarly, the owner was able to update us on the habits and tendencies our dog had. More examples could be given, but in summary the staff at Red Rover were very cognizant of our dog at all times.The facilities are very appealing to the naked eye. The colors are bright and the decor is laced with whimsy while also holding true to function. The facilities are regularly maintained from the lights to the floors. The place did not smell like a dog shelter or bathroom. It is very clear that Red Rover puts time and resources into all areas of the building.The boarding accommodations are appropriate and get the job done. There is a limited number of rooms, which allows for a more peaceful overnight stay. The dogs are regularly scheduled for play all day long, are fed well and given appropriate bathroom break times.We will be using red rover for every time we stay in Hilton head SC.

First time getting my dog groomed here. They did a good job and pup seemed to like it. Does not offer same day services.. I think I had to book 3+ days out. I didn’t like how the pricing structure worked - I was told after I went back to pick up my dog how much it would be. I was told this is because the groomer determines the price. I was given a range upfront and said that range depended on the difficulty of the hair cut and how good the dog is. I have the sweetest, most gentle dog on the planet so I thought I would be charged at the low end / mid range, but of course I was charged at the high point of the range. For reference I have a 22 lb, nine yr old, schnauzer/poodle mix.

Went to another local place and their self serve station you can only use at certain times, came here got my dog washed and the people were as nice as can be. Worth the drive from bluffton.

Our pups LOVE their time at Red Rover and the staff is always so helpful with booking boarding. My husband and I travel a lot for work and sometimes travel plans change abruptly and it’s nice knowing they have a safe place where they’re well looked after. Also, their grooming services are wonderful and the boys are always so soft and clean.

This place is awesome. My dog loves it and the staff is great. If you are looking for a place to board your pet when heading out of town I can’t recommend Red Rover enough. But wait, that’s not all. RR also has onsite grooming and doggie daycare as well. It’s great to drop my dog off in the morning and have a tuckered out pup at the end of the day!

Our dog absolutely loved playing here. He's a big wrecking ball of love and needed some extra fun while we are on vacation. The staff recognized him by name after the evaluation day. I probably met 5 employees and they were all friendly and clearly dog lovers. Conveniently located if you're in Sea Pines.

Paige was GREAT in our emergency. She made room for our dog when the situation was explained. She even suggested day care over full time care. Her entire staff was friendly and extremely kind to our dog. We would highly recommend Red Rover to anyone coming to HH

We brought our very high-enegy GSP to Red Rover while we were visiting in the area on vacation. Excellent experience! They were so friendly, took great care of our dog, and she came home totally exhausted and slept the rest of the day (which is seriously a feat). We would absolutely go back to these guys in a heartbeat if ever visiting in the area again!

So glad to have found a terrific DIY dog wash. What a setup and such a delightful owner. I have an Australian Shepherd and this place was perfect. The wash stations are amazing and located in a large room with great spacing between stations. Everything you need is provided. There is so much more offered. For humans with bad backs,, there is no lifting your pooch, the large wash tubs are walk-ins. Check it out. Thank you Red Rover. Lynn Doolittle

We boarded our dog while we were here for a week on vacation. Paige and the team were super flexible and allowed us to come in and out as needed to visit. They took great care of our dog and were super communicative. We had our dog bathed before we picked him up and they did an amazing job!!! Can’t recommend them enough!!!

Red Rover's staff are the most knowledgeable and helpful in the business! They've given me great advice over the years. And I'd never recommend anyplace else for boarding. Stop by for a quick tour if you haven't visited already. Creative use of space and excellent ways to keep boarders safe and happy! My dog thinks it's the coolest!

I stopped in this afternoon to Bathe my mini poodle. NO appointment needed! I was warmly greeted by a lovely young lady that was very informative. She led me to the grooming area and familiarized me with all the equipment. While I was bathing my dog, there were 3 other dogs in the room being groomed by staff. Every staff member was calm and gentle with the dogs. They were each confident in the grooming they were doing. I could easily see they loved their job and the dogs.All employees treated me with kindness and respect as they answered any questions I had.I was so impressed I booked my poodle for a full groom with Alison. Red Rover was so helpful and kind to both me and my dogs that I cannot say thanks enough! Recently relocated to Hilton Head Island I had no idea where to take my very big and difficult dogs to have their nails trimmed. Red Rover knew ahead of time about the challenge but said for me to bring them and they would help me and they did! One of my pups was so terrified that the owner herself went over the top on customer service to trim her nails!!! If you are looking for professional and helpful place that cares about you AND your pets, Red Rover is fantastic!

Blue and I have had an amazing time getting to know everyone at Red Rover while I'm here on business. All of the staff has been friendly, helpful, pleasant and really supportive. I trust my furry son with them implicitly. Jessie even helped me get Blue ready for a luau the other night. Red Rover has made my stay in Hilton Head so much easier knowing Blue is comfortable with them all.

They were able to watch our dog overnight on short notice. They were very nice and dealt with our dog well. He can be a hand full with separation anxiety. He came put smiling and not appearing anxious at all, which is rare. He had a great time with other high energy dogs. I would definitely recommend this place.

This experience I have had at red rover has been awful. My dog is a 15 year old yorkie who has a lot of issues. When getting him back from their care, it seems like they were not taking care of him in the sense of not giving him enough water or following his feeding instructions. I called multiple times to check on my dog and no one answered the phone. I had a scheduled grooming appt and they ''forgot'' to put it on the schedule. This place was unorganized and unprofessional. When I asked about my dogs well being they said "he should be fine" As a worried pet owner that was not very relieving. I would not recommend this place because personally it is awful and they treated my dog terribly.

This place is great. They are super knowledgeable and helpful. They love your pets the way you love them and have an amazing boarding facility. The guy at the front (Shane or Shawn... sorry for forgetting your name.) Is crazy nice and is always happy to answer any question you may have and point you in the right direction with a smile. Dropped off our dog Lester and Red Rover was very accommodating when we came in last minute needing to board for 2 hours while we took a dolphin tour. The employee who helped us was very kind and took great care of Lester while we were away.

I just visited Red Rover for the first time this morning and was very disappointed. I took my three dogs only to have their nails clipped. I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment and was told to come after 10 am. I arrived at 10:20 am and was told it would be a 30 minute wait and could I leave my dogs and come back. Seriously? I did leave them and even though they took my number and name I came back in 35 minutes only to find out it was still going to be another 10-15 minutes before my dogs were ready! I waited in my car and at the end of 15 minutes went in to get my dogs. At that point I found out there is an up charge to use a credit card. Yes, there is a sign posted, and no I didn't notice it. However, they are nice enough to point out a portion of the up charge goes to the local ASPCA. Still I have never been up charged to use a credit card before. In the end it would have been nice to have been told on the phone they were busy and I would have wait so I could have chosen to go somewhere else. I don't think I will go here again.

Love it!!! Been here multiple times and each time very satisfied. Puppers appear happy and well cared for. Groomers are excellent. Nice to travel home with no sand a great smelling doodles.

Red Rover took great care of our female Rottweiler and were able to accommodate with her condition while we stayed at a beach house all week. Definitely recommend to anyone vacationing to Hilton Head where the house they're renting doesn't allow dogs.
