Faith in humanity restored. I live in Indiana my parents live in SC. My moms sick and I door dashed some food to her house. This place was out of stock of salted caramel brownie. So they threw in a GF brownie in its place. Well when I called and explained the circumstances the call didn't end well and I was bummed.Next thing I know some angel who works there called me. So polite charismatic and full of southern charm. I explained how my mom was sick and she more than understood. You guys should promote this person or she should work for the united nations. She used her diplomatic powers to the max. I think she's a Jedi.They went the extra mile and actually went and delivered these for my momma!! I got literal brownie points for this. Thanks and you have earned a customer for life. My parents just moved into town and will prob become some regulars because of this kind over the top gesture. Good people still exist and they work here at this place.Thank you so much for doing the right thing

1st time trying Groucho's Deli and it was good though not what this NY/MD girl is used to! I ordered a turkey/Salami/cheese/mayo with lettuce sub. My daughter got turkey/cheese/lettuce/tomato. My son got turkey/lettuce/mayo. We ordered a sub thinking we'd be getting a full sub like back in MD/NY (1/2 for lunch, 1/2 for dinner) but they were much smaller! The side of sauce they came with not sure what it was but it was absolutely delicious!! Now that we know what to expect I'm sure we'll be back!

My wife went in to order sandwiches for a family gathering. Maybe 7-10 sandwiches. My wife was trying to ask the lady at the register is they offered any sandwich platters (they do, the menu says so). Before my wife could finish her sentence, the lady rudely said “NO”. She was extremely rude and completely cut my wife off. We left without buying anything. Never coming back again. RUDE.

1st visit to Groucho's and was great food and service. Got Apollo Dipper and Cole Dipper, Chicken Chili, slaw, pot salad, chips, drinks, all for under $30. Bread very soft and Formula 45 sauce is terrific. Chloe is a great server. Can't wait to try more of the menu.

My daughter and myself eat here often during the week for lunch and it’s one of our favorite places. The customer service is amazing and it’s always so laid back and just a calming environment to spend our lunch break. Keep up the good work ladies!

It was okay -- ordered the Apollo (turkey, ham & melted swiss) served warm. Sweet Tea was just okay, too. I guess I'm spoiled by the Groucho's Deli in Summerville where they serve shaved deli meats. This Groucho's serves deli-sliced meats. Individual preference, I guess.

Update: The management has made a quick and satisfactory fix for the situation in which they upheld. Thus, I adjusted the score.Stay away from the catering. I cannot speak on behalf of normal orders as I have not had a chance to partake nor will I after my experience at this particular Groucho's Deli. But to have a basic order of a party platter where it should contain roast beef along with the ham and turkey it instead had just ham and turkey along with isolated pieces of what I believe is chicken salad. Seems like they were clearing out an old inventory. Coupled with that, small things like pickles were missing.Call me crazy but when someone makes an order hovering around $150 and pre-tipped another $25; it should be pertinent to have a service fulfilled with an expectation that the order will be completed to the request.It should also be stated that this was an online order and with no special requests. So no miscommunication were made by the order, just a simple default order. Literally no excuse for the lack of attention and overall is concerning as this usually goes hand and hand to lack of hygienic and quality standards. Not a good omen for a fairly new business front in a town.I just wished I looked at some of the reviews beforehand.

The young ladies working were very friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were not busy when I went in, so we had some conversation about the Hartsville area.I had the STP Dipper, and it was very good. It had lots of meat and cheese. The sauce that came with it on the side was good as well. The only knock was the potato chips. They were packaged in a Groucho's bag, but they were like the cheap Lay's brand. Overall, good service and good food.

Subs are microwaved instead of toasted which leaves the bread with not the best texture but they give you plenty of meat so you get what you pay for. The sauce is delicious! The service is not that friendly. I still left a dollar in the tip jar for a to go sandwich because I understand everyone has off days. But after speaking with my coworker she says the females during lunch that work there are never friendly toward her either so idk..maybe some additional training on customer service might help.

My family and I have been here on 5 separate occasions, always willing to give it another chance. On all 5 occasions our orders have been wrong. I even tried telling them as they were making the subs it was wrong, but the staff was so caught up in their own conversations they paid me no attention. The food is good. The 1 star is for continued lack of service and detail.

Quick service! I have stepped by This deli a few times for lunch and never felt like the wait was long. Their sandwiches are reasonably priced and worth checking out.
