Honestly, the best grooming place I have ever been to. They are super friendly, so clean and extremely fast with express grooming. This is one of the only places I trust in the upstate since I have Goldens who require specific and careful grooming needs. They even have a little store with toys, treats, enrichment toys, grooming products, beds and more! Absolutely love them and can't recommend them enough! If I could rate them higher, I would!

Zoey was Tom's first Groomer. She was great meeting Tom, he liked her immediately. We spoke and discussed what or how I wanted him done. Zoey showed perfection,, he looked amazing. Thank Zoey.

Jennifer is amazing! She has both the heart and mind to bring the best of service to both pets and their people. She cares so much for all she serves and is mindful of every pets individualized needs and brings years of expertise and knowledge to her work. She has walked me through multiple dogs lives (from baths, grooming, food & product recommendations) and I have no doubt my now elderly dog and all the dogs in her care and oversight are safe and receiving the best of care & service. She goes over and beyond in all she does..and it clearly shows in the trust, love, and ease my dog shows when there. Thank you Jennifer!

They do a nice job of cutting. Very clean and nice facility. Have used them maybe 4 times always with good results.I had back surgery 2 days ago so I had someone take my two small dogs in for me. Appointment was for 8 she arrived at 8:15. They advised her she was late and would be assessed a late fee. Sure enough the charge for clipping was 130. The late fee was 30.So this will be my last visit. A ridiculous charge for 15 minutes. No customer loyalty at all there. Unbelievable way to treat a paying customer who tips nicely every time.

We found this place by searching Google after taking Bruno to Waggin' In The Park (Swimming). They had everything we needed to wash him and the setup made it really easy. No appointment was needed and the staff was super sweet and helpful. My wife and I highly recommend this place. So does Bruno :)

Great service and great cut. W recently moved to the area. I took my large purebred terrier in for a summer haircut, nails and bath. He is an anxious dog, so much so that he trembles sometimes. But he came out looking cute and happy and much more comfortable. They also have a store full of treats, collars, and more. So my good boy had a snack to go with his spa day. It was super easy to schedule and to set up his next appointment.

I've had 3 favorite groomers all leave Paws & Claws. Seems like every time I find a good groomer they leave. Now they are so far behind you have to make an appointment way ahead. I really want to find a place where my dogs can get used to one person and not have the anxiety of a stranger each time. Scott, Jen and Brianna were all great but they are gone. Sorry that happened but it's time for me to move on

We just moved to the area and I spent numerous hours looking online and calling around for a groomer. I called Paws and Claws on Verdae dr and was impressed with how quickly I got an appointment. Savannah was Izzy’s groomer and she did a fantastic job. Izzy has allergies, so I usually bring her own shampoo, well I forgot it at home. Savannah was so knowledgeable on their products she recommended one to use.Izzy had no reactions to their shampoo and she looks beautiful. Thank you Savannah!

I love bringing our dog here! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Savannah does an amazing job with our dog who is anxious when getting groomed. She doesn’t rush but take her time with him. They have the best treats too!

Where do I begin... We have been taking our 15 month old golden retriever to Paws and Claws regularly for grooming since he was just a few months old. The first time my husband and I arrived for his appointment, we were instructed to call our vet (who is located next door, approx 100 ft away) for our dog's vaccine records. This seemed odd as the 2 businesses are located in the same building, and the front desk employee expressed no acknowledgement at the fact that this was a bit inconsiderate of customers' time and patronage. After that, we had regular, pleasant experiences with the grooming service. Unfortunately, that all changed today when I found out my dog's appointment for Thursday of this week had been canceled (just 72 hours in advance). Keep in mind, it is normal for the place to be booked out 6-8 weeks, and I have had this appointment since May 27th. I booked the appointment online, and immediately replied via email to confirm the booking "Perfect. See you then!". Last week, I received a phone call to confirm the same appointment. I called back this morning (Monday) to confirm and was informed it had been canceled "because I did not call back within 24 hours". For one, the employee never mentioned that cancellation would ensue if I did not return the call to confirm within 24 hours. Second, I had already confirmed the appointment via email 6 weeks ago. The woman to whom I spoke INSISTED countless times that "the email is nowhere to be found", "we never got it", "we've searched everywhere" EVEN AFTER I FORWARDED MY INITIAL CONFIRMATION RESPONSE FROM MAY BACK TO THEIR ADDRESS! Here's a tip for successful business - the customer is always right :) To make matters even more embarrassing for them, the woman on the phone (Anna) informed me she'd call the owner to see what they'd suggest or offer considering the circumstances. She then proceeded to express how if she were the owner she wouldn't have canceled the appointment. Seriously? What employee expresses their disagreement with their employer's policies directly to a customer? Bad look. Luckily Greenville has much more to offer as far as dog grooming services go! If you want great service and a well-loved pup, I'd suggest choosing somewhere other than Paws and Claws on Verdae.

Michelle has been grooming my poodle forever and always does a great job. She makes honest recommendations that are best for the dog and genuinely cares about people's pets. The store staff is always welcoming and friendly.

Had a horrible experience this morning. I woke up early to get my dog to her grooming apt at 8am. My wife had already sent over all the dog records and had talked to the groomer previously about the dog having some small matts in her hair. When I arrived the lady said that my dog was "too behind in grooming for her to give her a cut." My dog just turned 7 months old and had been groomed once previously for a puppy cut. We hadn't had her groomed more than that because of needing a rabies vaccine prior to grooming. The groomer at Paws and Claws said my 7 month old dog should have already had been groomed 6-7 times by now. She also said she wouldn't fix any matts in her hair. She told me to go home and brush the small matts out and try to reschedule. She repeatedly tried to make me feel bad about not having my dog groomed multiple times a month. She said she was very booked up, so I assume she just overbooked and didn't have time to cut the dog's hair. I would have appreciated knowing this before changing my work schedule to get my dog to the appointment. She was not at all apologetic, instead insisting that it was my fault for not having groomed her more often. Was very unaware i needed to have the dog's hair cut before her hair could be cut.

Love this place and my dog does too. He knows his groomer's first name so everytime I tell him we're going there and he's going to see Christina, he gets all excited and he's ready to go. He used to hate car rides but now he loves them because he thinks he's going to Paws & Claws.

Bad, BAD service. Always rude staff. We brought our two dogs in to wash ourselves, paid for the service, and as we were finishing up drying our dogs they turned the lights off on us and were incredibly rude. We were clearly finishing our drying and she couldn’t be bothered to give us even a warning. NEVER returning. Do not recommend.

sarah does such a fantastic job on my dog. i am very pleased & will continue to go back. she bathed, cut, & gave my dog all the works in a little over an hour. & all for a reasonable price. very happy customer

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Wasted time coming here for scheduled appt that was set 2 months ago to be told that I needed my dog updated vaccination report in hand. NOT PRIOR to my appointment was informed. Had to leave to go get a copy of the report only to call back and placed on hold to get approval from the groomer David to find out that the receptionist didn't go check but put her friend KENSLEIGH on the phone whom by the way has a disgusting attitude to ask me 'Do we have a problem'???? She places me on hold after I told her no im waiting for the other girl to check with David, to hang up on me. I CALLED back 2x to have them answer AND could hear KENSLEIGH in the back ground saying my dogs name .....Really, I've done business with Paws AND Claws for 7 years to be treated this way, I will NEVER EVER RETURN HERE!!!!

This is a great place to take your dogs! I was able to do a walk in service for nails and also had great help getting treats and toys! Definitely recommend to anyone with pets.

Took my Australian Shepherd to get cleaned up today and he loved the experience! Very impressed with the staff and with how clean their store was! Very reasonably priced and excellent service! We will definitely be back!

Go anywhere else. 10 min late to an appointment window (it was morning and wet and traffic in Greenville is just a mess) and they refused to even acknowledge that I was outside. Walked around the building tapping on windows so I’m sure someone saw me.
