Dollar General is not longer the convenient place to shop in between Lexington and Leesville. It’s in the middle of the day on a Saturday (2:23 pm) and they are closed for inventory. This is the SECOND time this week I have been by here during normal day time hours and they are closed for inventory. Not to mention their new store hours of closing at 7pm. I’m not sure what’s going on, but they must really be struggling.

Just opened the brand new store . Its slmost fully stocked up . Nice freezer section across the length of the building. Now offers fresh produce . Love this place !

Fairly new store with awesome employees. Always clean and well stocked for the weekends. Just make sure you shop saturday/sunday or you might be out of luck because their freight goes quick. But in their defense it IS the only store within 12 or so miles. Check it out for yourself and tell them jen sent you ✌

Store used to be very clean and workers were very friendly. I was there today and it's obvious the workers that I have grown to know over the years are no longer working at this store. Piles of clutter all over the store and in the walkways make it hard to maneuver. The customer service is horrible now as well, waited in line for 15 minutes while cashier was going back and forth with a paying customer about their wait In line. My experience was not pleasant. Will be going to a different location for a while.

I love my Gilbert DG & their employees! Store is always clean and stocked. I'm always greeted with a smile and great positive attitude!!

Most of the time everybody acts like they already know me even though it's a stranger or a new person you know nice very nice tour sometimes they run out of milk go on a busy weekend when everybody's boating but you know not happens everywhere just don't let a hurricane come around That's all folksThanks hope that was useful bye everyone is not just the way us Southerners is supposed to be

Dollar General is our only store close by.Dont know why they started closing at 9:00pm.Carlie has a bad attitude and shouldn't even be working.They dont know how to stock merchandise. Never in the same place.

Worst dollar General store ever. The prices are more expensive and the customer service is horrible. I will never go back to this dollar General. Employees that work here are rude and have no customer service skills. Also the sales are no good here you will find better deals at other Dollar General stores. 👎👎

The cashier obviously didn't know what she was doing. I used a card and she said it didn't go thru but I call my card and it did go thru. And on another occasion I needed to use 2 different cards and the same cashier clearly had no knowledge of how to do that and was to scared to ask for help. After today I will never step foot back in that dollar general.

If you like being ignored, this is the store for you. Stand in full view of the register. One cashier repeatedly calls out to another to check you out. That guy, Scott, ignores her. Then I leave.

Pleasingly surprised at all this store is stocked with. I went in to pick up a few general items. Noticed they stock croutons! Awesome!

We love Dollar General!!!!!! We have one right around the corner and go there often to pickup everything from Tide and milk to school supplies and trash bags!!!!So convenient!!!

Undermanned store. Only two employees. This is a very popular store, on a busy stretch of highway. The two employees did a amberurmeral job considering there was 15 people in line, waiting to check out.
