This is the only store I purchase my toiletries from because the price is always agreeable for me. I also buy hair products, sheet sets,and anything pertaining to home,this is my go to store.And it's the only place where I can buy 1pk.6roll of paper towels...for 5bucks!!

This location is excellent for quick shopping visits. Easy find with plenty of good parking. Good customer service with friendly staff and fast check out. The Dollar stop is a favorite feature of mine. It makes it easy to pick up a few extra value items without another stop on the way home.

Updated - For the last two years since I first reviewed, this place has done well with staying clean and organized! Although a smaller store, it's still a favorite as it's always stocked and clean!Old Review - They seem to change their closing times without a notice of change periodically. They can also either be clean and organized or extremely out of stock with cluttered isles items that can sit for days before it's restocked.

This Dollar General has wonderful employees that are warm, and very helpful. Every employee speaks to you when entering and is always there if needed, The store is clean, organized and very easy to find what you are looking for, they have anything from Beer to Bacon. Mangers are great and the checkouts are always moving and customer are normally satisfied

Well they haven't stocked the pet food and. The one I need id halfway smdown the cart it's on under likec27 different other bags. And I'm not the stocker andcim disabled so. I just think that's ridiculous. Laziness .

My experience is one of disappointment. I know that a certain amount of people don't take covid serious but I would expect the management of your store to.signs are posted telling people that they must wear a mask.yet a number of people don't.when we asked the cashier why they don't say anything.we were told that they have been told that they can't.no wonder covid is so bad.but then again maybe the owners of dollar general are just like the governor.

One of the BEST CLEAN LOOKING Dollar General on that side of town actually it beats a LOT of other dollar generals!! Customer service is GREAT! Everything on shelf is nice neat. Nothing is hard to find.😁

Dollar general,has been a godsend for me, and since the update of new freezer and refrigeration has taken place,the variety of items is double fold,at least, and the staff are helpful at any questions you might have about an item or where it's located in the store, this particular store is also kept up to date and clean,all around it's a pleasant trip, and I live by one, which makes it even more convenient when my car is acting up!

Friendly service. It's a discount store so the prices are reasonable. The store is always kept very clean and well organized but anytime I can't find something the employees are always helpful and knowledgeable!

Great service the employees are awesome and I'm here to tell you they go above and beyond for there customers. Best dollar general by far bar non ANYWHERE in the world. If i could give 10 Stars i would.

Always clean, neat and well stocked.Friendly staff. The only thing I don't like is that no matter how backed up the checkout lines are, they will never open another checkout. Tsk,tsk!

the people are nice who work there but they really don't have any customer service at all if you ask him or something is it kind of just point in the direction and the store wasn't well stocks they didn't have half of the things that I needed

I'll give 5 stars for cashier's always friendly and curtious no matter how busy they are.But as far as stock it's NO STARS,it just unbelievable .totes all over the places.have to move them to get to items.I blame corporate for that.Those girls can only do so much and be attentive to customers.They definately need help extra help in that store.

Didn't find what I was looking for this time being a fluorescent light bulb air filter for the air conditioner and Shoe Goo otherwise staff is friendly and attentive and was surprised to see steamable vegetables in their freezer section

This Gaston location is awesome; it is more of a supermarket, larger size. Store is clean and well staffed with a larger selection than other Dollar General stores I've been in.

Brand new store, shelves are fully stocked and prices are low. Staff is helpful and friendly. There is a Red Box movie rental here.

Swansea store is the trashist dollor general store I have ever been in. Can't get to the shelves for stock carts in all isles and stor clerks are rude. Drove 8 miles to Gaston store just to get what I needed, won't be back.

Love DG We bought Halo toys for grandson's birthday which he picked and we bought a mop and candy, etc... using my 5 dollars off of $25 purchase. We actually spent over a hundread due to a few food items and so on but we always spend more than we plan on spending anyway. There is always extra to fill the cart!

Went for soda's but the only had 2 Diet Dr. Peppers so I got them and 4 Pepsi but they wanted to charge me $27 in stead of$20 as they was on sale 3 for $10 but sales don't mix. They did not have 3 Diet Dr. Peppers and would not work with me.

Is store is usually pretty busy. Normally there is a line at checkout. They are usually pretty well stocked and clean aisles.

The cashier female was more focused on a conversation with some girl instead of handling her customers and there was only the one girl cashier lots of people waiting in line. No other cashier

This was the my first time in here.The store had just what I was looking for, so I was glad I didn't have to go to Advance Auto. The line was long and going in every direction. I was waiting for about 5 minutes for someone to come and help get the line down. If I am every in the area again I will be back.

Store was so junky and nothing was in place, no shelves fronted, slow service, and not to friendly atmosphere, just rude looks and stares. Terrible visit.
