I thought this was going to be my spot. I tried their catfish twice. First time it was really good because it was my first time having catfish. I ordered corn nuggets, fried okra and shrimp and it came with hush puppies and Cole slaw. Second catfish plate wasn’t so good, but I didn’t trip. Third time, ordered flounder with corn nuggets and potato salad after work. Get home and first thing I bite into is potato salad. It is SOUR, if I’m saying it right, as if it’s spoiled. I immediately call and let them know. First thing he said was he needed to check the potato salad he had left at the restaurant as to not serve it to others then asked me if I wanted another side. I was home for the night working on a project and couldn’t leave. I was reminded at that moment that I should never eat other’s potato salad. Meanwhile, I finished the corn nuggets and fish (which tasted fine) hoping I wouldn’t get sick from the one horrible ingestion of the salad. Next morning I became sick and it all came up. Unfortunately, I cannot go back and I’m very disturbed about being served spoiled potato salad. I always wondered how they were able to have such a large menu of items and this shows that sometimes we do too much. May need to cut back on some items and focus on less to limit things like this from happening.

Everything i have tried here has been really good with one exception. The french fries. Everytime i have had them they have been terrible. Fix your fries and you get a 5 star from me.

The food was alright and the menue looked pretty good! But they got my order wrong and the service was so kind it was borderline annoying, just let me eat.. What really brought it down to a 2 stars was the cleanliness. When I went, bathroom was a wreck, all floors looked like they hadn't been swept in over a day (we came in at 1 and this place wasn't busy enough to have that much dirt by 1pm). No reason for there to be a dead roach and a half eaten lollipop on the floor beside my table. I'm generally pretty generous with my reviews but I'm also honest. I'm sticking with 2 stars

The store front is definitely not pleasing to all but the food and manager were great. One of those “hole in the wall” places. I didn’t like that the building smelled so bad of smoke or that the walls and floor looked dirty but it’s hard to say if that was from the building being so old. Food is what we went for and it was good! We got our food to go and I even went to the wrong place to get it but nevertheless this place was waiting for us with the food under the warmer. We will return.

I absolutely love their food their hot dogs are the best anywhere around, I order their slaw dogs at least twice a week With a side cheese sticks. I have ate numerous item's from their menu and I've always been pleased with everything. The building is really old but look past that and judge them by their food because it is amazing..

1st and last visit. Wow this place is so nasty. The delivery driver was wiping his nose with his shirt. I ordered online and they never got my order but the money came out of my checking account. The wouldn’t refund me my money. Said they didn’t have it no have proof. They did offer to make my food though. But who would want it after what I just saw.

Great little greasy spoon for local color. The oil could use changing in the fryer, but we still liked the food. The bathroom was not well kept. Overall, we will return.

The people there are always super polite and welcoming. Almost all the food that I have eaten from there was terrific. It is a perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. Prices are fare. Pete's diner is an example of why we shouldn't judge a book by its cover

Disgusting place, I ordered a double bacon cheese burger. The burger smelled and tasted like the patties were sitting out for days. The restaurant itself was a disaster. Smoking allowed inside, mold everywhere, everything was sticky, mens bathroom was falling apart. Never again...

Great food for a great price. My favorite is the bacon cheeseburger with half fries half onion rings and an extra side of ranch. Also don't forget the large sweet tea. Haven't had one visit yet that was disappointing keep up the good work

was hot as balls in the restaurant if u wanna call it that .. then lady running register was complaining about not enough pay to deal with the job .... how cheap this guy is an wonders why they have no customers! this one guy was talking so loud everyone was a part of his conversation...then he had the nerve to go back behind the counter to the kitchen like he was gonna help after smoking ...me and my family said if he touches our plates we are gonna lose it! u will be best going to McDonald's!!!!!!!!!!!!

I travel from Michigan to see my sister and took her to this restaurant I had Fried chicken french fries and coleslaw and a biscuit. And cheesecake for dessertAnd was very pleased with what I ordered and the service and people that work there were very friendly I would have no trouble stopping by again.

Pete’s in Fountain Inn sucks, I called too order a cheeseburger, after they told me 30 min guaranteed delivery, it took over a hour to get someone to deliver my food after I called twice. And the food was cold and horrible, then the delivery driver wanted to argue. I called back and the manager wanted to argue. If you ask me they have no clue about Customer service. They suck , you might get sick from eating there too.
