Sheer perfection. Lovely grounds lit up for the holiday. Two beautiful horses and two adorable miniature horses are nice to see. Treat yourself to the suite which is enormous with an area with a microwave and fridge. The bed is a large king. The bathroom is enormous with a huge tub, easily big enough for two. I was solo but the suite is designed mainly for newly weds and couples. Immaculate with nice wood floors and lovely furniture. There is a patio to relax and look west over the trees for the sunset. Private and quiet. The dog is a sweet lug to give a pat but won’t bother you. I highly recommend this place. Plan to eat on the way because restaurants are a distance away. There is an IGA right around the corner. I was here late in Nov. which may be off season. Even so I think the suite is an incredible value for its size and quality.

I only wish I could have stayed longer. The property was gorgeous, the room was both chic and cozy, I have never seen a bathtub with a flat back like that and never want to bathe in any other type of tub from now on, the horses are beautiful and curious, Isa the great Dane is the sweetest old lady I've ever met, the muffins were very tasty, and Ashley is a kind and delightful person! All the thoughtful little details were impressive and appreciated- fairy lights leading to the room, coffee all ready, motion sensor lights on the floor that stay on the perfect amount of time, etc. I highly recommend a visit, whether for an indulgently luxurious overnight as I did or to commemorate any occasion! I will certainly stay again if the opportunity arises and am excited to see how Ashley expands her business to offer yoga retreats and spa treatments and whatever other ideas she may implement!

Isa & Ashley are both ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! My daughter and I needed to relax in an AFFORDABLE, BEAUTIFUL environment, and neither one of us has ever felt more RELAXED and at home anywhere! Ashley provided ALL of our needs, and made me an OUTSTANDING banana muffin for our first morning there. Animal lovers, Isa is the BEST! She is SO FRIENDLY and LOVING, you can't help but LOVE her! I do recommend planning ahead if you like ice, or certain foods. Their water systems are different, but work fine. We were able to find everything we wanted in Bamberg, SC which is within 15 miles of Lazy Dog. So, if you're looking for an affordable, relaxing, WONDERFUL time...we both HIGHLY recommend visiting Lazy Dog Acers! My daughter and I are already planning our next visit, and we haven't even left yet!

My wife and I just spent an amazing weekend with Lazy Dog Acres. Ashley is a wonderful host who made our time in town to attend the wedding of a friend one of the most enjoyable times in recent memory. She is very personable and full of energy. She offers yoga classes, a music night and an on site spa featuring facials and reflexology. There are also horses to meet and a scenic pond on the property. She also does weddings in a specially prepared place on her property. The place is named after her 11 yr old great Dane, Isa. My wife and I loved talking with Ashley and loving up on Isa. People make a place and Ashley is among the best.

We loved Lazy Dog Acres! Stayed there for our anniversary and had awesome facial/reflexology treatments. Ashley was great! My wife also had the Reiki treatment which she said was fantastic! We were both so relaxed! Would definitely return!

Me and a friend stayed here for the night on our way to Florida and it is a diamond in the rough! It’s a gorgeous space and Ashley is a wonderful host who caters to your every need. We loved interacting with the animals and eating breakfast in the outdoor space. The bathroom here in the bridal suite is huge and Ashley has big dreams to make this place even better for weddings. If you’re looking for a comfortable quiet oasis, this is it! The location and value is honestly amazing if you want to go to major cities and be close to I-95. Make sure to check out Ashley’s lavender shop, her homemade goods are awesome!

I am a travel nurse and I stayed with Ashley at Lazy Dog Acres for a few months while working a contract. I feel very lucky to have run across Lazy Dog Acres while searching for housing! This is such a beautiful private tranquil environment to stay. She has a small piece of heaven here in SC. 12 lush acres with pastures and trees to walk among. Her horses are fun to watch and she has the best big baby of a Great Dane...Isa! The apartment is perfect and so luxurious. Ashley is more than accommodating and provides what you need...privacy or company. She has cooked for me after a rough shift at the hospital and even finish my laundry’s time or two! I not only found a great host but a forever friend! Thank you, Ashley, so much for a perfect setting to come home to! She does weddings and events on this beautiful property, too! Wonderful yoga.Edit. Was rushing the day I posted this, but I want to add that Lazy Dog Acres is one of the coolest places to see in Bamberg County. As you drive up, you first pass a beautiful pond before pulling up to a horse meadow and "lavender house", with main house to the left. Depending on the weather, yoga is in a lovely pole barn or the small building/stable behind it.Ashley is legit. She displays her Yoga Alliance certificate in her sign-in folder and thoughfully has bug spray on the table. Her classes are well thought out, include excellent notes on allignment and drishti, and she always closes with a meditation. I always prefer to practice outdoors, and it is fun to practice yoga while watching the horses munch on hay behind Ashley. Her indoor space is beautiful and has lots of house plants. She has good music choices as well. In the times I attended classes with Ashley and her staff, I found class intensity to be gentle. This is a great place to try yoga if you are a beginner or if you need modificiations because Ashley knows how to get any one into the poses she leads. She always makes sure I have a block near me (even when I"m too stubborn to grab one before class): I always end up using it.Finally, I find Ashley to be very welcoming of me and my child, who must attend with me b/c I do not have a lot of childcare options after hour or on weekends.If you're a practicing yogi or just dipping your toes in, definitely try Lazy Dog Acres. If not, enjoy Ashley's many other offerings like reiki, day spa/facials, and live music.

Just spent a week at Lazy Dog Acres. It was so great! The property is beautiful!! Surrounded by trees, a pond, gorgeous landscaping and even horses! Every place you sat inside and out provided a beautiful view. The pace of life at the property was peaceful and restoring. It was a perfect home base to days visiting tourist spots that were all within a reasonable drive. We visited Charleston, Edisto Beach, Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head. Ashley has a real gift for hospitality. She makes delicious home made muffins for breakfast that are warm and perfect for with the provided coffee. The other cool thing about this property is that it is an event space. If I lived in the area this would be a go to for my organizations fundraisers. Her outdoor chapel is a gorgeous back drop for weddings. We stayed in the wedding suite. Very romantic. I hope others find this gem of a property for their stay in South Carolina.

Beautiful room at the Airbnb, spacious and classy, great amenities. Amazing private bathroom, comfortable large bed. Even a small kitchenette of sorts right in the unit. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained.Host was very kind and professional. Made sure we had everything we needed and then some, had muffins and coffee made for us in the morning, but also gave us complete privacy throughout our stay.Highly recommend to anyone staying in the Ehrhardt area. Excellent value for a top notch experience.

Loved the 1/2 hour Facial Reflexology. Although it was only a half hour I was really able to get into a deep relaxation. Ashley did a great job and the place is so peaceful and tranquil.

This is an exceptional place to stay! We were spoiled each morning with homemade muffins and fresh coffee that we enjoyed outside. There are many places to sit in serenity surrounded by natural beauty. We were within driving distance of a few different SC destinations and spent time visiting Charleston, Edisto Beach, Hilton Head Island & even drove to Myrtle Beach for a day. It would be the perfect place for a wedding, retreat or other gathering event. The owner also makes spa products that I fell in love with! Thanks for the amazing experience! We will definitely be back...seriously can’t wait!

When you rent a venue you shouldn’t have to worry about being followed around the entire time or watched like you’re child… we paid the price for the event we shouldn’t have to worry about our guest plates being put in the trash cause she didn’t like them left… when the guest weren’t thru eating…. We had people there to help us with that! That was not her job! Being worried about plates being left on the table was NOT her concern!! When you rent a venue I don’t see why you would leave your business cards stapled to a dog treat in a basket for the guest to get that we didn’t in it…. So yes we moved them!! This was my daughters day not a day to advertise Ashley’s Lazy Dog Acre Spa and Venue!! Would I recommend this venue to anyone? No I would not! Not how the way she did and act about things! AND NO I DO NOT WANT ANY PERCENTAGE OFF YOUR SERVICES!!!
