Sadly, -0- stars are not available. Walgreen's on Church Street is understaffed and has poor service. I blame the management, not the overworked staff. Supposed to wait for text - text never comes - wait times on phone are really long and often uninformative. From now on, we will support the local pharmacy, Rivertown Pharmacy, on Main Street. Nice people and great service!

I went to drop off a prescription for my son. I asked how long it would be and the response was "wait for the text" after asking again because I really needed that medicine "you'll get a text" Was Again the only response I got. I live 30min out so I waited over 5hrs and left town because it got too late. I checked next day and the prescription is not ready still.I would have loved it if they just told me to come back in a day or two instead of just having me wait around.

every time i come here, no matter the time of day the wait to pick up a prescription is ridiculous. it doesn’t matter if you go inside or to the drive thru.update: i will never come here again. my sick child had a prescription sent in yesterday, i sat in line for 30 minutes and then got told it wouldn’t be ready for a couple hours. called this morning to see if it was ready and was told they didn’t have any prescriptions for her. 30 minutes later i got a text that her prescriptions were ready. i already had them sent to a different pharmacy at that point. POOR customer service.

Dropped my rx off at 5 pm, was told 2-3 hours. Called at 1 am, still was not ready and things were screwed up in system, was told willl be ready in 15-20 minutes. Showed up and the pharmacist was on lunch for 30 minutes which I was not informed when I was on the phone. Will never use this pharmacy again.

Denise in the pharmacy is a nightmare. I’ve never in my life dealt with someone so rude. Everyone else is always so pleasant for the most part. We all have our bad days, but Denise is always doing too much, I think she thinks she has all this authority, & it’s like this with her all the time. Sometimes I have to pick up 5-6 times a month for my family’s medications. It’s only her that ever gives me a problem.

This has to be the worst pharmacy in the Conway area. Getting prices wrong, wait time is ridiculous. I recommend no one uses this place.

Unless you have an hour or two to wait. I strongly recommend you get your vaccines elsewhere. That's with an appointment. When asking employees at 4:10 when our 3:15 appt might be completed, we were chuckled at with a shrug. The next employee acted like she was offended we were asking for an update 10 min later. One person went in for shots after 45 minute wait and then nothing for 20 more. Finally got out of there after 75 min.

I went to this 24/7 location after work instead of my usual pharmacy just because it was late and still open. I’m the care giver of an elderly family member with dementia. We had run low on a medication that is weak enough to settle her while not so strong it gives her a hangover and confuses her more. Mostly it stops the constant yelling of repeated phrases that comes from the dementia and confusion. We had run out and the nurse that comes to the house called in some more even though it was not time for a the refill from the other prescription . . Despite my call ahead of time I was told they would not fill the prescription when I arrived. According to them it is a controlled substance in some states, a quick google search revealed this state was not one of them. I was surprised but was sure if I explained the situation this would be resolved. I was wrong.I did not appreciate the condescending tones directed towards me. I attempted to contact the nurse that comes to our home but she did not answer as it was late . This elicited some snarky comments from the pharmacist which angered me so I decided to leave as to not say something I would regret. The next day after I got in touch with the nurse and went to my pharmacy the pharmacist there apologized to me and told me I should’ve explained the situation to her. She should not have had to apologize to me at all. Either way she was not there and I did not feel I needed to explain anything to the nasty pharmacist from the 24/7 location, especially after when I started to explain I was scoffed at. Needless to say I will no longer visit this location for any of my needs.

Again this pharmacy does not have my meds I have every email they have sent me every month where my meds are delayed and it's days before I ever get it this pharmacy is a night mare I will be moving my business this location should be shut down shame on corporate for not taking care of these problems I would never recommend this store to anyone and I am going to see if I can call someone higher up today goodbye church st walgreens I have had it with you this review will not be removed this time corporate you need to check into this store with these review it should not still be open you people in this pharmacy are a disgrace to walgreens really makes me sad I left cvs to come to such a train wrecked place people these reviews are true my advise stay away from here

They have reached a new low here at walgreens. They pulled down the roll up door on the inside of the store and posted a sign saying drive thru only. With the drive thru line wrapped around the building, I would say the average wait time is over an hour. It is disgusting how they treat people here who depend on medication in their daily lives. I recently tried calling after 8pm since their staffing issues have made the wait during the day impossible to wait through. After waiting 30 minutes on the phone, the male night pharmacist answered the phone and said "Jesus....stop calling!" And hung up the phone. I do not know how corporate walgreens is tolerating such horrible treatment of their customers unless they are supporting it. I have filed a complaint and wish there was something more I could do to rid innocent customers of such pain and humiliation that they suffer at the hands of these pharmacist. Unfortunately I don't have the financial means to pursue a legal solution so here I am. I hope you decide not to put yourself in this terrible situation with walgreens pharmacy or to support their treatment of those dealing with medical issues and/or in pain. goodbye walgreens. You have lost this customer after 12 years.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This has to be the worst pharmacy around. Every single month there is an issue with my medicine. This time i was told multiple times they do not have any in stock, when I call today I was told they are filling it (only after sitting on the phone for 20 mins waiting for someone to answer. EVERY SINGLE TIME) I get there to wait in a ridiculously long line for 35 mins to be told they don’t have it…then when I inform the tech that I spoke with the PHARMACIST and she said they do have it and it will be ready she goes back to talk to her, another 10 mins of waiting, to then be told the prescriber messed up the script and missed a whole month? Makes no sense. This is every month with an issue. AVOID THIS PHARMACY!!

Won't help you over the phone says they can't tell you if they have the medication in stock or not my doctor is not calling pharmacys all over the beach they are busy now I just have to keep calling. Reps on the phone act like you are going to rob them just by asking a question. That's fine I really didn't want to deal with this place every month anyway.

I called to check if you carried a certain medication and the pharmacy tech said I had to come in to get that information and can’t tell me over the phone. So I called another Walgreens and the tech told of course we can indulge that information over the phone. I called Publix too and they too said they can indulge that information over the phone. What the heck is going on with this Walgreens. Your tech apparently doesn’t know what she’s talking about and that’s why this pharmacy is rated a 1.5 on yelp and 3 on Google. Sounds like the supervisor is slacking on professionalism!!!

I've been waiting a week to have a medication filled. They "ordered it" last Wednesday. I called today to check the status and they said they can't fill it due to a script issue. I asked why I wasn't told that last week when they spoke with the doctor who was checking to make sure they would fill it, and I was transferred to the wonderful "Pharmacy Manager" (insert sarcastic eye roll). According to her she is "THE pharmacy manager" and no one approved my med through her. Oh, and my being out of that med since last week when they said they'd have it a day later is apparently "not her problem." Keep in mind I'm on two different chemo meds for the management of my RA and confined to a wheelchair, and I've had two major back surgeries in the past year; being without the med has had some repercussions. The ONLY reason we had the med sent there was because it was closer than the store we were using, and riding for very long distances is very painful. Long story short: waited a week, so called "manager" refuses to fill it, got doctor to transfer to the other pharmacy, and it was filled in 20 minutes. I'm a nurse, managed my own department, and this "Pharmacy Manager" is one of the rudest and most uncaring person I have ever dealt with. I refuse to even call her a professional because she did not exhibit any professionalism. I'll gladly drive that extra 30 minutes. That lady has no business "managing" anything.

The people in the pharmacy never know what they are doing. They put my insurance in wrong and saying they can’t fill my prescription. I had to come all the way down here from Myrtle Beach and they still were unable to fill my prescription. I told my insurance I use Walgreens for my pharmacy and he laughed and said they never know what they are doing- don’t train their staff properly, and after dealing with them for a few months I completely agree

Pharmacy takes over an hour for pick ups. There was (for once) no line at the drive thru and I still waited 30 minutes (literally 30 minutes) with a screaming baby while someone sat at the computer in front of me. Need more staff if you can’t function. I pride myself on NOT being a Karen but the aggravation I’ve felt at this pharmacy for the last year has made me feel like one. I’ve stopped taking medications because I can’t wait in a line for over an hour and I’ve tried their online shipping and still haven’t received my medications. Absolutely pathetic. Will be switching to CVS.

Walgreens on Church St. in Conway SC has to be one of the Best Pharmacy stores around town. I can’t even make it up about how Grateful I am to have them around. Every time I go in the store I’m greeted with a Warm Welcome and the employees are so helpful to one another and most of all their customers. I just love Walgreens so much.

So, I went to this place on Thursday May 12,2022 to get my wife 3 vaccinations ,which they did not have. Which was understandable. The manager there was consulted by a girl, Emerson, about the situation and I overheard the conversation. Emerson asked about the vaccines and the snotty manager said she had to order them. Then she found out that we don't have insurance and the wiseass said , snottily, that they are like a thousand dollars each !!! Emerson took the time to figure the price out and it only comes to 351.00 so she was done with me and Emerson said she would order them and watch it closely and give me a call if and when they come in. No call. I spoke to a guy there yesterday, Monday, and he said definitely tomorrow, Tuesday. We just went there today and the vaccines did not come in!!! We have an immigration appointment on Wednesday at 7:15 am and I don't know what to do!!! I moved from Ct. 2 years ago and have dealt with a few in the medical field here, including pharmacies and CMC and they WERE ALL HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES !!! I am actually considering moving because I am afraid as I get older that I have to rely on these so called medical people here !!!! Such an awful thing to happen in such an important thing!!! FYI the manager with the black hair should be FIRED!!! She shouldn't be allowed to work with the public !!!!!!

Was here on time for my vaccine appointment and still had to sit and wait for an hour. The line was wrapped around the place, while the clerks was in a deep conversation. This is the second time this sort of thing happened. Not to mentioned the pharmacist (Mariam) wasn't pleasant AT all.

I use Walgreens often. I usually find what I need, along with dealing with friendly workers. Tonight, though, I stayed on hold for an hour and forty minutes to speak with someone in the pharmacy. After the first forty minutes, the recording said the staff were going on a thirty minute meal break. I stayed on hold to wait. I then stayed on for thirty more minutes after their meal break only to have the recording to say the staff were going on ANOTHER thirty minute meal break. If the pharmacy does not want, or just unable to take phone calls after a certain time, they should put that on the recording to keep people from wasting their time on hold thinking they will be able to speak to someone.

The store is alright but everything is more expensive from makeup to candy. The pharmacy has terrible service. I have had to wait 2 days to get a prescription filled. I changed to Nyes pharmacy just up the street & have no issues whatsoever. Do not waste your time at Walgreens.

This pharmacy might be the worst in the grand strand area. My girlfriend just spoke to the “Pharmacy manager” and I know it was her because she made it very clear that’s who she was “Well I’m the pharmacy manager” total Karen. and I almost grabbed the phone to say something because of the language and tone she was using. The situation was simple my girlfriend had her 2nd moderna shot scheduled and this was the only place offering the moderna vaccine locally. She called a few days prior to the appointment trying to see if she could switch the time because of an scheduling conflict; the staff member unnamed said she could come any time before 4pm and receive the vaccine, it sounded odd, so we confirmed this multiple times before hanging up. When mentioning this to the “pharmacy manager” today she said “okay they told you that but I’m telling you this now” extremely rude.. going on to say she didn’t have any appointments today and to check online, checked online and it said they had over 50 open appointment slots. Over 50.I sincerely hope nobody ever has to deal with this pharmacy.

I'd give 0 stars if that was an option. By far, the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Customer service is garbage, wait time is garbage, the whole "we will have your medication done if 15-20 minutes" is the biggest lie they can tell. It usually takes about a day for them to actually get it ready, no matter what medication it is. I highly DO NOT recommend this Walgreens and suggest you go down the road.

Something has happened to this once wonderful pharmacy!!!! This is the rudest callous business place in Conway …my wife’s medicine I picked up here for years it’s not far from our home and my office …I now drive to Carolina Forest gladly …to get away from the nonsense fed to pharmaceutical customers here today …sadly this once great location is now filled with exceptionally poor customer service…I give you a one as that’s the only way to interact …you deserve a ZERO!!!!

Ridiculous!!! Either understaffed or Training new people, so service is always slow. Drive-thru wait runs you 1.5 hours to 2 hours before you even get to the window to be seen. Even inside is backed up. Time to switch pharmacies. It doesn't matter what time of day unless you come while everyone is sleeping. Absolutely, pathetic. They really need to adopt a better format in their service process. SMH

This Walgreens is the worst. The pharmacist is terrible. They had to order my new rx bc they did not have it in stock. They said they will order it. I received a text message saying it was ready. My husband picked it up and brought it home. It was a similar but not exact. I called asking for an exchange for the rx I preferred. After about 6 different transfers I received the pharmacist who said if I bring back this original rx tonight (it is currently 4:30 and I live 30 mins away) they will order the correct rx, but I need to bring it back right now. I said I will bring it back when my new one comes in. She said that will not work and she will not order my correct rx.I’m in complete awe on why she was so rude when u was told I’d be getting the correct rx, and they did not make me or my husband aware the RX that was picked up was not the correct one I was suppose to be given.

Made an appointment for a Covid test 3 days ago. Took off work to go get the test. Had my email confirmation sent to me. After sitting in 98 degree weather for an hour, I pulled up and was informed, even though they have the sign up for lane 1 for testing, that they’ve been out of th tests for quite a few days. They suck and Walgreens has lost 3 loyal customers of over 3 decades.
