This breeder is the most knowledgable and thorough one I have ever used. Elizabeth knows all things Yorkies and has many different kinds. She is protective of her babies and is willing to help out whenever needed. She wants to find you the right fit for your home. I was deciding between two puppies and she was able to talk me through the personalities of both and I couldn’t be happier. She walks you through and provides most everything you need to bring home and take care of your puppy. Plus a full binder with training and temperament tips along with all medical info. Highly recommend Southern Yorkies if you want a puppy from a breeder who is detail-oriented, thorough and a true Yorkie lover. I was drawn to Southern Yorkies because Elizabeth provides such detailed information about her Yorkies on her website where you can find the answers to most of your questions. If you have additional questions, she is very responsive before, during and after the adoption process. She also provides you with a very generous “diaper bag” and notebook with all of the information you and your pup’s vet will need for a great start. Elizabeth helped me select the puppy that is the perfect fit for our family. Our pup is sweet, cuddly and has adjusted to her new environment more quickly than expected.

I have had 4 Yorkies over the past 25 years and my experience with Southern Yorkies and Elizabeth has been phenomenal! It is so clear she has put so much time, effort and love into these little squirts. She spent significant time understanding what I was looking for and answered endless questions promptly. My little boy is so sweet, healthy and smart (he learnt potty on the “potty bundle mat” within a few days). During pick up she went over everything (more than an hour) and the binder with all of his information and Yorkie info and the incredible diaper bag of goodies was amazing. She continues to follow up to make sure he is settling in and answers questions including recommendations on books and advise. I highly recommend Southern Yorkies and Elizabeth!

Elizabeth was wonderful to work with! You can tell that she really cares about each of her puppies and wants to place them in the home that is best for them. She spent a lot of time on the phone with us discussing each of her available puppies and answering all of our questions. It really helped us make the best decision for us and we are thrilled with our little man. If you’re in search of an adorable, healthy Yorkie puppy with a fantastic temperament, I HIGHLY recommend getting one from Elizabeth! Brice and I picked up our little guy Leo (previously known as Georgie) just a few days ago, and he has absolutely exceeded our expectations. He’s only had 2 accidents in the house and has hit the target AKA his potty tray every other time! He is just a DREAM! He is so silly and sweet - we just can’t get enough of him! Elizabeth puts a lot of hard work, love, and care into her Yorkies and their Yorkie puppies, and it SHOWS. Throughout the entire process, prior to getting a puppy and after getting a puppy, Elizabeth has been very kind and helpful. She is also very responsive, especially considering all that she does on a day-to-day basis as a Yorkie owner and breeder. I have always loved Yorkies since the day my family brought one home when I was a child, and they are probably the only breed I will ever own to be quite honest. As long as Elizabeth is doing what she does, I will only ever purchase a Yorkie puppy from her!

Southern Yorkies are the Best! I cannot say enough about how great our experience was with Elizabeth and Southern Yorkies. When I spoke to her for the first time, I knew that she was our breeder. She is warm and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She genuinely cares about all the babies, or squirts as she calls them, and works hard to match them with their new families. She really knows each little one; their traits, likes and dislikes and considers how that will fit with the family’s lifestyle.We picked up our sweet little “Lady” last week. Elizabeth spent an hour with us going over all the health records, feeding schedules and everything we needed to know to bring her home. She presented us with copies of all the records and lots of helpful information along with a “diaper bag” with lots of goodies especially chosen for Lady. She has checked back with us a few times to see if we had any questions or needed anything. Throughout the process she has be very responsive and happy to share, and I know that I have someone to talk Yorkie with whenever I need her.When we are ready to add another little one to our family it will be a Southern Yorkie for sure!

We recently took home our second yorkie pup from Southern Yorkies and couldn’t be more pleased with how he has joined our family and our fabulous experience working with Elizabeth again! She is such a gem and helpful resource on everything Yorkie! We were looking for a playmate for Louie and while we were interested in a smaller size pup wanted to make sure the new pup could keep up with Louie’s spunk for playtime. Elizabeth reassured us that despite the difference in size Joey had the temperament that could match Louie well! She was so right! They have been best buds! Ms Elizabeth from Southern Yorkies has been the very best experience of my life. She helped me during a difficult time, after losing our 13 y/o Yorkie. She guided my husband and I through each step of our pending new arrival and boy, was she ever thorough. Our new fur baby is exactly what we needed! Elizabeth Brigman, owner and breeder of Southern Yorkies, is a knowledgeable and conscientious breeder who’s primary focus is to breed healthy, happy, well adjusted Yorkies. Her website is full of excellent information about the breed, her dogs, and her methods. I especially like how she keeps all of the little ones and their parents in her home so as to ensure hands on care and safety. I started my journey with Southern Yorkies several months ago, knowing that the specific Yorkie of my dreams doesn’t come along in every litter. We kept in regular touch for months and she was always quick to answer any questions I had. My perfect little one was born October 2022, and I just picked him up six days ago. Not only is he the most adorable little guy ever, he came to me with clear medical records, microchiped, dated upcoming needs, and a hoard or toys and snacks. Most amazing, however, is that he came to me already potty trained. My little guy doesn’t miss the mark! He’s my emotional support companion and I couldn’t be happier!

This was the best possible experience we could have asked for!! Elizabeth LOVES,LOVES all of her babies,even the ones who leave for a new home. We communicated through the entire process...talking about our little guy,she gave us lots of details about him before we decided to make him a part of our home. She gave us daily updates about him as well as videos on YouTube to watch him play daily. She shared lots of info with us as well as sending us home with lots (like seriously...ALOT) of goodies and a notebook full of information if we forgot anything,we could go to the notebook. Personally,I preferred talking with her. She was always available and answered all my questions. If we decide to get another Yorkie,she will definitely be our number one choice...Hands Down! Elizabeth was very willing to talk to us about Tonka. She told us where to buy things for the dog. She told us about his routine. We were very pleased to get a goody bag with lots of helpful items. We just received our yorkie from Southern Yorkies and couldn’t be happier! Our little guy is a ball of energy and fun. And he loves snuggling with us! Our communication with the breeder was always there and there wasn’t any issue with asking any question, because they always had the answer! Can’t wait to spend many years to come and will be very interested in getting another one from this breeder in the future.Edit: I uploaded a photo of Stiles and here is how he is doing!Stiles is 1 year and 9 months old in just 5 days. He is spoiled rotten and absolutely loves to play, stretch, and sleep all day long. Imagine waking up to a happy face who can’t wait to hop up on the bed and immediate snuggle under the covers with you. (Super dangerous if you need to get up, because he likes to lay on you or beside you and he turns into a furnace) Walking him is still a bit tough at times, but he is 99% perfect with using the bathroom outside. Weening off of pads was a breeze and we’ve maybe had 10-15 accidents from 8 months to now so an incredible accomplishment! Especially since 4-5 are our fault for not recognizing the signs he gave us as soon as he showed them. He loves crinkle and squeaky toys (Just like Elizabeth predicted!) He is a ball of energy that is ready to zoom off and chase you or be chased for hours on end. We wouldn’t change and thing and we are so happy with our little guy. Will absolutely do business with Elizabeth at Southern Yorkies again in the future.

This was my first time using a breeder for a fur baby. I was intimidated by the process at first, but once I read through Southern Yorkies website and familiarized myself with everything, it was easy. There is so much great information and detail, so it made my decision to got with Southern Yorkies very easy. Once I spoke with Elizabeth, our conversation confirmed it even more for me. I want like to thank Elizabeth with Southern Yorkies for making our experience so wonderful. At first I was a little hesitate but she eased my mind with her knowledge and our experience. She took the time to answer all our questions. She is definitely in it for the love and best interest of her puppies and their new home. It was obvious from the day we picked TInker Bell up she was use to getting attention and had received a lot of time and training. Southern Yorkies is the place to get an excellent Yorkie. I searched for another Yorkie to get so my first one, Bailey, would have a playmate. I did not want to get one from the same place as I got him just because, no reason. I searched for a place to get my 2nd Yorkie and researched Southern Yorkies. Elizabeth is a breeder who truly loves every single one of her Yorkies. I reached out to her about getting one, she responded in a reasonable amount of time. She called me and we chatted about what I was looking for and I had expressed interest in "Squirt". Elizabeth freely provided all the information on him; vaccines, vet exams, supplements, care, her recommendations, etc. I made the decision to get "Squirt" and he is absolutely perfect. He was clean and smelled good too. I was provided all documentation of his vaccines, vet exams, what he was eating, frequency, what his daily routine was, etc. Elizabeth put forth a lot of effort to make sure "Squirt's" transition was smooth as possible. She provided a well organized binder that had his information in it along with a "diaper bag" with samples of what he had been getting.He is well behaved and it is clear that Elizabeth has spent a lot of time him as he is pretty well-mannered. He had his wellness exam and if he could have gotten a grade he would have gotten an A+. She truly loves each and every one of her Yorkies. I changed his name to Toby and he quickly learned his name. He loves his playmate Bailey and Bailey loves him.I highly recommend Southern Yorkies and Elizabeth to anyone who really wants a Yorkie that comes from a line of quality Yorkies and has been taken care of. Thank you, Elizabeth for doing what you do for your Yorkies and the future Yorkies.I will definitely return to Southern Yorkies for future Yorkies and I highly recommend.

We were very excited to purchase a puppy from Elizabeth...She is very caring and knowledgeable and explains all care.. Gives a great explanation of all things pertaining to your puppy. Very liberal with "fun go home bags!" Her prices are not cheap, but, it was worth it to me because I feel she gives great care to her puppies and wants them to be healthy and in good homes..She discusses all aspects of your puppy and you can also see pictures and videos prior to purchase. She returns calls or emails relatively quickly and is eager to help with any questions.
