Came in on a Monday at lunchtime. Went to the counter and placed my order. They bring it to the table once it's made. I got the BYO with roast beef and bacon on a Croissant. The roast beef was packed on well and was very tasty. They put on a nice thick slice of cheese on it, too. Yummy, sweet tea. It has a collage vibe/atmosphere. The parking when I was there was plentiful with lots of it. My sandwich chips and a drink set me back like $17. It's worth a try if you're looking for a good sandwich.

What a cool little spot! It definitely is popular and has a great college atmosphere. You wait In line and order first w the ladies over the deli counter. Then you continue to wait in line and pay at the front register. You go find a seat and they call your name and you raise your hand- so pay attention lol. Booth seating was cozy. The guys ordered a Philly cheese steak — they added jalapeños to it and split it. It was a good size (not huge but filling w all the meat).I ordered the tuna melt but doctored it up. I asked for it on Rye bread, subbed pepper Jack cheese, added tomato and lettuce (it already had onion). So so good!! One of the best tuna melts I’ve had! So flavorful. My son got the kids meal Turkey cheese- subbed cheddar cheese instead of American, and got it on a croissant. I forgot to ask for it toasted, so it was just okay. Cold croissant w cold meat and cheese isn’t the best but was edible. We took the other half home and toasted it- yum! Kids meal came w chips and a fountain drink. We also got some Voodoo chips, bbq chips, and the guys got cans of crème soda and black cherry cola. All came to just over $40. Not bad. They were efficient and pretty quick, even when very busy on a Saturday at lunch time. We surprisingly found parking in front in their small lot. They also have an outdoor front patio w some seating. Fun place inside. Lots of collage kids and a mix of families. The place is decorated w lots funny random stuff and with many old records, and had really good music playing too- eclectic mix. There’s nothing like a classic deli! Would be perfect to take sandwiches to the lake or a picnic. We’ll be back!

My recent visit to Pot Belly Deli left me feeling quite disappointed, resulting in a 2-star rating. While the restaurant had potential, there were several aspects that fell short of expectations. Firstly, the cost of the food did not match the value received. I found the pricing to be on the higher side considering what was offered in return. This made the overall dining experience less enjoyable, as I felt I wasn’t getting the best value for my money. The hot sub I ordered was also disappointing. It arrived cold, which was a major letdown since hot subs are meant to be served warm and comforting. This oversight took away from the overall taste and enjoyment of the meal. Furthermore, the Ruben sandwich I ordered lacked fillings, leaving it quite underwhelming. The absence of essential components affected the flavor profile, making it far from the delicious experience I had hoped for. The packaging and presentation were also lacking. The pickle in the bag was carelessly tossed in without proper wrapping or attention to detail, which diminished the overall impression of the restaurant’s commitment to quality. Parking and accessibility were major issues as well. Finding a parking spot was challenging, and the location itself was not conveniently situated, making it a less desirable destination for a quick meal. In conclusion, my experience at Pot Belly Deli was far from satisfactory, resulting in a 2-star rating. The inadequate value for money, the cold hot sub, the lackluster Ruben sandwich, and the careless packaging all contributed to this disappointing visit. I hope the restaurant addresses these areas of improvement, as they have the potential to offer a better dining experience for their customers.

Fantastic spot! We stumbled on it by mistake on a rare date day for my spouse and I. The atmosphere is warming, inviting and fosters strong old town deli nostalgia. The service was friendly and fast. They were extremely helpful to us newbies. And the food! Fresh. Hot. We both got breakfast bagels. Fantastic. Fresh bagels, toasted to perfection. We don't know what kind of cheese they used but it was melty and oh so savory!I can not recommend this place enough!

I ordered the chicken salad online and to-go order. This was a scoop of chicken salad on a bed of green lettuce. This was one of the most fresh and delicious tasting salad, the chicken salad had the perfect consistency and flavor! I'm not sure if they make their own salad dressing, but the regular vinaigrette was so flavorful and fresh! I will definitely be getting lunch from here more!

Amazing breakfast!! Honestly, I don't have a positive opinion of most of what South Carolina has to offer. I was delighted to find a REAL deli in Clemson. Their service, food, and atmosphere are first class. They have real New York bagels!! Everything was delicious. The only real negative about this place is the older lady. She was very rude. When leaving, I complimented the bagels. I said that their bagels are the first "real" bagles I've had in South Carolina. The young lady behind the counter accepted my compliment. The old lady gave me a dirty look and shook her head. She must be a local.

Smallish deli with seating inside and out. Order a special or create your own sandwich from the deli. Staff will behind the order to you if you are eating in. Take out is fine.I had a Philly cheese steak that was ok...a bit dry and lacking in cheese. My wife had a roast beef sandwich that was much tastier.Staff was friendly. Service was a bit slow, but there were a lot of people there when I was there!

My first time at the Pot Belly Deli. Really didn't know what to expect. It's definitely a deli. Custom-made sandwiches and such. High quality ingredients and quick service. I had the Reuben sandwich, it was great, one of the best I've ever had and I'm from the NE coast! Definitely going back again and definitely telling my friends. Kind of in an out of the way place but definitely worth looking for.

Never again. They charged me $10 to add chicken salad as a topping on a bagel. They put oatmeal on everything bagel. Definitely not like up north. This place is for people with more money than sense!

RUDE . door says 4:00 on Saturday and Sunday but they close at 3:00. They have 3 signs on the door but couldn't hang one up saying their hours. Do better.- by the way we were going to get hotdogs when my husband recommended that we turn left and visit you where we looked on your sign and saw you were open. Why would you fix hours online but not hang a sign on your physical door? One would be confused since it's of course your place of business and you'd surely change the hours after 2 years Right??! That's your job. Our job is to come eat. Yours is to make sure we don't have to double check your hours because you're lazy or procrastinated for two years. And maybe try being nicer if someone comes in to your store because you failed to update your physical storefront with information they need to give you money. So THAT'S why we didn't look online for hours. Because we were there. It's not the hours I had an issue with it was your attitude when you spoke to us and YES I will always write a review and tell people to not deal with rude businesses because that's what this is for. Our opinion.

Always a great place to stop by if you want a little more from you sandwich than the normal sandwich shop. The sandwiches are great, both the breakfast and deli sandwiches, and everything is very reasonably priced. A wide selection of ingredients will make sure to satisfy you. My wife and I love the place so much, we picked up a nice decal to put on our car. Figure that's our highest praise we can give the place.

Egg and cheese on a bagel was awesome. They also have grilled muffins, must try. Get there early (before 10), line gets super long.

Great googly moogly!!! They have hands down the best breakfast/brunch to date. It was so damn great that all 5 of us ate the same exact thing we ordered the day before!!! The service was spot on as well. Every one of us had Eggs Benedict and it was all that jazz!!!

So me and my friends are all regulars at Pot Belly Deli! The food is always great, the service is usually spot on, but this last time we were rung up by Nicole who was super rude. She kept saying that we didn't have stuff on our ticket and just super rude.

I love this place, but you have to know the busy times. Sunday mornings after a football game, you might as well not even try unless you are willing to wait. Breakfasts offer any breakfast sandwich you could want along with muffins and a few other baked goods. Lunches and dinners are great for sandwiches and soups. Definitely a unique place in Clemson.

We tried about 6 or 7 menu items and no one in my group really enjoyed anything that was served. All of the sandwiches were just 'meh'. Cost was about $10 per person, which is high for a deli in general, but seems especially high for the quality of food that was served. The staff was very helpful, pleasant, and friendly. But the food was just not good.
