All the adults working there are always helpful but the teenagers working just want to socialize and do not seem to care about helping customers at all. I try to give the local stores my business but may just start going into boiling springs again for the lowes instead.

This is a family owned business from what I have heard, therefore I would think they would take into consideration economic times and how some people can't afford to pay an arm and a leg for extras they need for home repair. I understand they need to make money, but their prices are outrageous. I can order paint and most everything else I need on other sites for way less than I would pay here. I'm not paying for the convince because it's in my town. I honestly wish the hardware store that was here in town before hadn't closed because they were much better.Oh, and the cashier's could be more friendly also.

I don't know why this store isn't the first to come to mind when I need hardware, it really should be, the most helpful friendly staff, an awesome selection of hardware products, I went there earlier today and as soon as I walked in the door I got a friendly welcome and I was shown where to find the item I needed. I highly recommend this store to anyone in the Chesnee area and beyond. Thanks very much.

Friendly staff, always willing to help with you, spend time to show you options. Very knowledgeable, work hard to get you your answers. The grill section was my favorite, Kyle and Payton really know their way around the Barbecue section of the store, even share their experiences with different seasonings that they sell. Will continue shopping here.

I have been to a lot of Ace stores. This store is what the rest need to model after. Staff are always super friendly and ready to help. Only change, make it bigger for this area. Other than that all around an outstanding store.

Rude employees. As I was checking out I heard a younger employee telling another about how he parked his truck to block in someone in the side lot by Dollar General. I was pulling a 16’ trailer and didn’t want to take up 6 spots on front of their building so I parked on the side, ate lunch across the street then spent money in their store. I’m not so sure what was hilarious about blocking me in but as I was leaving I heard him say “let’s see if this is him”, he didn’t think I heard him so I turned around and said “yep, it’s me”. I get out to my truck to see his black Ranger parked right in front of me. I’ll stick to Landrum Hardware from now on.

My husband went in yesterday and bought a Stihl chainsaw. They took it to the back to service it. When they brought it back to him the guy said we did you a favor we gave you an extra chain. The guy opened the bag with the paperwork in it to show my husband a box. My husband didn't realize it was a joke I guess the employee thought it was funny but it wasn't. My husband has purchased several chainsaws in the past and a bottle of oil always comes with it this time not. Before yesterday my husband had been in the store several times since it opened and with the saw he has spent almost 400.00. He says he's not coming back he had to tighten the chain before he could use the saw. You just lost a good customer. We like Tom he has gone out of his way to be nice every time we have gone in but didn't see him yesterday.

It's a small store for a small town makes sense..the staff is friendly, helpful and the store is clean and organized..the selection is somewhat limited depending on what ur looking for..I took off a star due to pricing..it's steep compared to Walmart and home Depot.
