Home Depot itself and the people that work in the store are great. Once you leave the store and have to deal with delivery and “OCC” to schedule or reschedule deliveries or work, they are terrible. I bought a washer and dryer. Very easy process. I spoke to the person in detail about haul away, he told me the price, I said yes. The delivery guys arrived and said they didnt see anything about haul away and couldnt do it. I called Home Depot and was on the phone with Home Depot adding haul away as they drove off. Then they rescheduled delivery to Monday. After a 20 min call rescheduling and paying for haul away, a woman called me and told me she saw I had refused deliver and wanted to confirm I wanted a refund. What? I just got off the phone with someone. Why is a washer and dryer delivery taking so much of my own time? I’ll never use them for appliance delivery again.

I had the best experience! A very nice and patient man named Ronald helped me find new air vents for my home. Since my home was older, he had to really research to find the right ones. Not only did Ronald research but he also gave me pointers on how to install. I so appreciated his help!

Hello,Not to long an ago I have came across a problem with some paint I had purchased from Home Depot. Got the paint paid it left. (Didn’t realize I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED HOW THE PAINT TEXTURE back in the store before paying for it) As I was expecting, now this a 5 gallon priced $325-40 dollars paint, a paint consistency liquid type, you know? Like we all expect. So I want to open it, gave it a stir, before I could even do it, that paint felt so heavy. It felt like a gum chewed liquid, I could barely pick the stirring stick right out the bucket. And to say this was for my house, all the walls and bedrooms, one color and I paid $325-40 for this. I asked for glossy cover, but the paint looks like it has been sitting there, and when taken down TO BE GOOD PAID PAINT, but no, old musty chunks of paint that just roll with the paint. Ruined my plans and have taken my money. I went to Home Depot the next day, like any other person would do. I went to address the issue that happen the manager was there. I was be told that I was handling the paint wrong (which is not the case) I have worked with paint for many projects, I know how good and bad paint is, and I knew this was bad paint. The manager then gave me a deal, switch out and give me another gallon for $110, I took it. Then the manager told a employee to gave me the right price when I go pay for my equipment. When it was time the employee the manager said that had to ring me up right, was nowhere to be seen. I asked an employee, a different employee, about the deal, and he just said “I don’t know”. I scanned the paint, came out $329 with tax. I told the other employee to take it off since the manager didn’t own up to the “deal”. I felt like it was a trick. The employee that was supposed to ring me up right was not there and nowhere. I was not going to stand there and look like a clown. Paid for my stuff and left the paint, I am not about to leave Home Depot with my money in there pockets the second time. Now I realize it’s my fault for not checking the first time and how the paint was, but also the employee for give a customer the wrong doing of what your company’s name is the opposite of. You, Home Depot employees should be ashamed of your service and how you treat customers. Moreover I am not from the states, so my English is not very good. But I can say we are very wise of our environment and what’s going on. This was a problem that I had to go through, and wish for all of y’all not to go through it and waste money on something that should have been done correctly the first time.

By far my go to home improvement store compared to the one across the street. Great houseplants, succulents, lanscape plants... rocks. Great for DIY'ers. redid my old messed up dresser top with squares of aluminum and carpet tacks, rocks and brick around the green house, redid the bathroom... the fiddle leaf fig came from there, floor, bathroom paint.. everything.I love their service, always someone close by asking if youre okay and finding things okay. the floor came out great for a first time tile project... just a cool store :-)

Home Depot will not be receiving any further business from me. Recently, I visited the store for assistance with power tools, marking the second consecutive day seeking help for a tool purchased the day prior. Despite my attempts to find assistance within the store, spanning various departments and interactions with multiple employees, I encountered a lack of support. The customer service desk, however, was understanding of my persistent efforts. Ultimately, after returning the product, I requested to speak with Manager Daniel, who acknowledged the tool’s malfunction. Subsequently, I repurchased a different brand but encountered a similar issue upon inspecting it at the customer service desk. Facing a dearth of knowledgeable staff, I opted to return the item and sought assistance at Lowe’s across the street, where I received the requisite support.

Contractor parking almost Zero, They only ever have one register open at the Pro exit. The pro desk is rarely staffed if someone is there they don't see you. Lowes across the street is a much better option for the Pro contractor. I'm a big fan of the HD just not this location the store 10 miles away is worth the ride.

DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT buy any appliance from this Home Depot. We purchased a new fridge about a month and a half ago. When they came to deliver the fridge the following week. It came dented on the door. We declined the service and told them to come back with a new one. Granted they left the dented one in our garage so that we had any way to keep things cool. The following week they arrived to the house to deliver us a new one with NO refrigerator but a work order to take the other one with them. Which we obviously did not let them do. Weeks have gone by trying to either get a new one or have them replace the door. Finally got someone to order a new door and it didn’t arrive on the day or maybe even week it’s supposed to as it’s still not here. Home Depot then attempts to come back to install the fridge so that we finally would have water and ice today, and then reschedules. Home Depot is an absolute nightmare of a company.

I love this place!!! No one bothers you except for that one day when a district manager was here and talked me into buying a 16 gallon wet vac instead of the 12 gallon version. Every time I use that thing I’m thankful I happened in while that dude was here. Also, the parking lot looks amazing! My favorite place to shop.

It’s Home Depot. They have what you need for your home projects. Always clean and friendly helpful staff. Today I was buying garden tools and the employee that helped us, knew his stuff. Tried to get us to buy the best product for our project. Gave us many different options, with different price ranges.

Nurseries aren’t worth buying from. Plants are not owned by Home Depot like they are at other improvement stores, so the quality of them lacks. As you can see, this is one of the problems with low quality growers. The plants here are infested with aphids an whiteflies.

At the West Ashley Home Depot, I was so happy to find just the tiles I was looking for but the boxes were way to heavy. Lucky for me Neil showed up. He found a cart and proceeded to start to load the first box. It was not only heavy but hard to grab. The rest of the boxes were taped together and Neil hunted to find a tool and was able to free all the boxes. He was super kind asking me as he lifted each box if the color looked good to me. He really struggled but got all 8 boxes on the cart .Neil is a Home Depot hero.

There is an older gentleman named David Young that works at the Home Depot located at 2008 Magwood dr. in Charleston, SC. He is amazing!!! He was very helpful, friendly, and funny. This man needs a raise!!! I think that a lot of the other employees should take a couple pages out of his book on what good customer service looks like. Whenever I decide to go back I only want to work with him!!! This man definitely know what he is talking about and knows his stuff inside and out!!!! I'm only giving this store 5 stars because of David. Everyone else was extremely unhelpful and somewhat rude.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in such a forward facing business. It’s sad that the young man at customer service had to assist all the customers waiting alone as the young lady that was there walked off and said she was going to lunch instead of helping assist the customers. I’m pretty sure customer support and satisfaction is key. She just walked off. And yes I’m aware there are rules and protocols for hourly employees they must adhere by, but someone else could have be called to assist the young man who was busy helping another customer which seemed to be taking a long time. Other employees walked by with no regard to the customers or thought to even ask if he needed help. Sad that the companies hire individuals like this. Unfortunately, businesses like this must exist for the everyday people and we have to spend our money. Lose lose situation for us what we want something quick. Win win situation for them. I went to pick up a patio bistro set that I had ordered online. I was impressed with the efficiency of their online pick up process & especially Luke who was the young man who assisted with breaking the boxed item down and take it out so I could fit into my vehicle. He was so patient, professional and had such an engaging personality. Home Depot is lucky to have such a hardworking young man like him on their team! Thanks again, Luke!

I was in the market for a Dewalt 20v mower. I saw the one I wanted on the Home Depot app, and that there was one in stock in West Ashley. I placed an online order for in store pickup same day, and added the protection plan. I was told I’d receive an email when my order was ready.Two hours later, I received an email saying my mower order was cancelled and no explanation was given. I assumed it was because it was out of stock, but who knows? The employees at West Ashley didn’t bother to let me know. I also got an email to let me know my extended warranty, on the item which I am NOT purchasing anymore, is in the mail. Turns out they only refunded the cost of the mower when they cancelled the order.I immediately called Home Depot customer service and was sent to a texting service, where I can text back and forth with questions about my order. The person I texted said it was out of stock at the West Ashley store, and cancelled the rest of the order as well. They then proceeded to tell me that it was in stock at another store about 45 minutes away in North Charleston. I confirmed by going to the website to make sure. The website says that the North Charleston store has 4 in stock…FOUR! He proceeded to create another order for pickup from the new store, and said it would be ready in 2 hours. I told him that wasn’t acceptable. I shouldn’t have to wait 2 hours because Home Depot employees don’t know how to do inventory correctly. He said he would contact the store and put a rush on it. I thanked him and told him I was on my way to the store.When I arrived 45 minutes later, I was told by that store that they don’t even carry that item anymore. They don’t have it, never will, and proceeded to cancel my order. I get home another 45 minutes later, and see an email that the mower order was cancelled…but again, the warranty is on the way! HaHaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!! Seriously, what a joke! I called customer service and the last person I talked to was very helpful and cancelled everything.Funny thing is…I’d given up on Home Depot years ago, because of the lack of customer service in store. I just started going across the street to Lowes. There’s always a Lowes across the street. Plus, I’m a veteran, and the military discount was easier to use at Lowes. Since it had been a while, and this was a simple one item curbside pickup, I thought I’d give Home Depot another try. Never again! Thank you for wasting 4 hours of my life Home Depot! Worst shopping experience ever!

Have shopped at this location for years, spent thousands of dollars, and after the last few shopping experiences I will take my business across the street. I went to the Customer Service desk to ask for some assistance with a receipt and was treated like I stole something. I had the order number and all information needed and both ladies were utterly disrespectful and and unprofessional. Fast forward a few days later, I asked if I could have something brought down from a top shelf and the gentleman I asked dropped his head, sighed, and started shaking his head. Customer service is not this stores goal.

I am extremely disappointed with Home Depot's window installation service. I ordered new windows in October and it is now April, and Home Depot still hasn't installed them. Despite multiple promises that the installation would be completed, they failed to follow through on their commitments.Even though they offered a 20% discount, they still couldn't provide a concrete install date, which further solidified my reason for disputing the charges with my credit card company. I received my $7800 back through the dispute.On top of that, Home Depot never offered any compensation for the lost time at work on the failed install dates. I sat at home waiting for them to show up, but they never did. They didn't even offer a gift card as a gesture of goodwill.The lack of communication and failure to deliver on their promises is unacceptable. I strongly advise against using Home Depot's window installation service.

Just went into the store. I’ve been in the store multiple times and I’ve never let down by the Customer Service was greeted as I was walking into the store and several times folks asked me did I need help finding something, I was in the tool section and Anne Marie approached me to find out if I needed any help and she walked me over to the nails where I was looking for a specific nail gun nail and she introduced me to Mike the store manager which stayed with me the entire time that I was looking for the nail, That type of customer service is few and far between I went on to carry a conversation with her about a bad experience that I had with the Summerville store and she was very apologetic about it and told me her role with the Home Depot. Very nice to know that there are people that care about Customer Service. Thank you Anne Marie thank you Mike, and all of the nice lady she introduced me to at the Home Depot in West Ashley Charleston, South Carolina. God bless you all.

So I paid for a threshold delivery of my order, an extra $20.00 to the already somewhat expensive delivery charge. Window for delivery was 6am to 8pm, a Fourteen hour window. I was to receive a 30 minutes call prior to delivery, this Did Not Occur, NO Call. Home Depot (Displayed all over truck);truck arrived and fortunately my wife was there to accept order. She reminded the driver that we had paid extra for threshold delivery. He responded that he would not be doing that and dumped our order on the driveway. He further stated that he did not work for Home Depot. We paid for threshold delivery as the materials delivered needed to stay dry and it is rainy season. I had a friend assist me in getting the materials indoors. Totally unsatisfactory in delivery charge, delivery timeframe, delivery execution,and response by driver.

Niasha wanted to go home more than she wanted to be helpful and attentive. She suggested I buy the cheaper model, than come back and return it because she doesn’t feel like take 20 seconds to check and see if it’s in stock. Extremely disappointed overall in how she handled the situation. I don’t like waisting anyone’s time.
