I was highly shocked how smelly the store was and old looking. I still went and bought some kale to eat. I cut the kale when I got home and realized the stem was white in the center. I never came across kale with fungi. Wow.

Well Harris Teeter sells this misleading product. It is a USB type C charger that states is compatible with all type c devices. Had my Coolpad Legacy on charge and never turned on. Neither did the red notification light. I tried to return but they had already closed. I do not believe that it was just a faulty cable and will go in to return and swap it out.

There was a guy who falsely accused us of stealing and he was a manager which is even more disrespectful. He thought we were stealing and we weren’t and that is really annoying and disrespectful. We weren’t going to steal and if we weren’t aloud to put stuff in the bags he could of just told us politely you can’t do that. Instead he came up to us and took the bags and dumped in the cart (Aggressively) and he said “there’s no way your buying that” and I feel very DISRESPECTED and now i’m never coming back, because of him and you just lost 4 customers who were going to give you money. So when you get your paychecks and there is not a lot of money thank you manager. Have a wonderful day!!😁

I end up at this store about 3 times a day due to poor planning on my part and what not. Anyhow, i don’t mind visiting that much because everyone is so pleasant and helpful even when i know they probably think I’m in the store too much lol. Great store and great folks!

I really like Harris Teeter. It's a clean and light filled store. The staff are very helpful. The managers are customer service oriented. The product variety is very good. And there are always deals/specials on items I tend to buy.

This store is always well staffed. I love that they don’t have a self checkout line. It is great to support a business that doesn’t operate on fewer cashiers and you having to check yourself out. There is never a long wait to check out. The employees are friendly. They have great sales on all the time!

Always the freshest produce. Beautiful meats and they always run great sale prices. Love the fact that they double coupons up to 99 cents all the time and especially love their super double and their occasional triple coupon days. they have some of the best cashiers in the grocery business as well.

I enjoy shopping here. They have everything I need and I appreciate all of the coupons. Today the power went out from a storm. The Cashier left one can of peas off the order by accident. After waiting about 10 min for the registers to reboot, the Mgr let me go with the peas. I'll return to pay for them and it was a great gesture

Disgusting. Every time I walk in I'm tempted to turn around and walk right back out because it smells terrible. I once swallowed a fruit fly walking toward the produce section. All of the other Harris Teeters on James Island are actually high-end supermarkets that are clean and have great products. This store gives Harris Teeter a bad name.

This store use to be ok, but now that they have moved everything around you can’t find anything. Who decided to put the laundry soap on the same aisle as the ice cream? I mean what kind of sense does that make??? I will now be shopping elsewhere, a shame because I can walk to this store and now I will drive 5 miles out of my way to go elsewhere. I also went during their peak hours and they only had 1 lane open, no employees could be found for me to even ask where items have been moved to, and the manager was just sitting up in that box at customer service not doing a thing. I love Harris teeter, but not this one anymore. Sorry, but you have lost a customer now.

I had another great experience at my local Harris Teeter. The check out clerk was an awesome young man. He was friendly and efficient. You could tell he takes alot of care in his job.

Good quality and selection of fresh meats, produce, and friendly excellent customer service. Smaller than their other stores so somewhat limited in selection of products, but super convenient. I love my local go to!

It's an old smaller store. Of course you're not going to find everything here, it's probably the smallest grocery store on the island. Been going here since it was a Winn Dixie and will continue to be a loyal customer. Nice seeing old friends and familiar faces. Oh and the boneless skinless chicken breasts for $1.99 and the meat counter is always a good deal.

I'm from out of town and I happened to stop at this store for groceries and I was highly insulted by the blatant show of racism by some of the workers. There was a security search on certain aisles that my boyfriend and I had been in. As we were buying things at the self checkout one of the managers stood behind my boyfriend with her arms crossed asking her employee if he had taken anything stating that he was in the store for too long. I mean seriously I'm never shopping here again and if your a person of color or a minority be advised that the level of service you may receive here might be less than professional and, at times, blatantly rude simply because of the color of your skin.

My son died in May. The associates at Harris teeter have bought me groceries for his family three different times. I was unaware until I got to the register and they told me they were paid for already. I could shop at six different stores on the island but I promise you none would do this. Thank you

The display as well as the food APPEARED beautiful my first time there I went in for some breakfast of course an I was not happy with the way the food taste. I had cheese grits, egg, corn beef hash an bacon. (Bacon was delicious)

Horrible! Says they close at 12. It's right after 11. Doors are locked. Guess my baby dont get milk tonight! I'll find a new grocery store. This isn't the first time closing early just because.

This is absolutely one of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. After nearly killing me by making my drink with soy and never making my coffee to my satisfaction, I don't know why I still come to this Starbucks. It seems like the only person that works there is a rude male who doesn't seem like he can be bothered with anything, let alone basic customer service. Harris teeter should be ashamed. This is the kind of store that gives all other Harris Teeter Starbucks a bad rap.

Depressing. This place is the size of a decent convenience store. Really wish instead of having 8 quasi half arsed micro worthless Harris Teeters on James island I'd rather have ONE REAL ONE! if I went to every Harris Teeter on James island I still wouldn't be able to complete my grocery shopping.

I visited the Harris Teether store on Maybank Hwy on my way to work to grab breakfast off there hot bar which is great. And I saw on the cold bar cobbler. And thought hmm let’s try it🤔 I LOVED it so much I called the next day to see if it was something they made so I could place a order for two pans. Well the ladies in the daily said it was discontinued and they can’t order it period and they won’t have it again cause they only had cherry, black berry , peach etc. so me being me I called a different store trying to find one with hot bar. I call the one on harbor view and folly road😍spoke to the deli store manager Brittany😍❤️She explained that they don’t have a hot bar and I can try the store on Seabrook island to see if they had cause she couldn’t pull up the numbers for it. And said if they don’t have it call me back and if I have to I will get the numbers and order it for you😍called Seabrook they didn’t have it or seem to be able to try and find it for me. So sad😢I was bout to give up and called Ms. Brittany back and she said let me see what I can do. Took my number and wow she called me Tuesday and said my cobbler was in her store. 2days 🤔😍I want to make it known that she made me laugh and said I would have to shop at her store and with employees like her I will travel that far just for her great customer satisfaction and knowledge. From my understanding she just started at that store on harbor view and folly road and I want them to know they have a wonderful manger working with them. Even though when I went to pick up my cobbler and purchased more grocery items I made it known. And the sadder part of it. I stopped at he store on Maybank for coffee creamer on way to work and wow really look what was on the hot bar😡the cobbler that they said was discontinued and they could not order it again🤔😡. But thanks to this lady Ms. Brittany I have two whole pans of my own and looking forward to the ride to harbor view and folly road for more to come. Thank you Ms. Brittany for going the extra mile and making sure a customer was very much satisfied even with the knowledge of your job it was clear that you knew what to do to satisfy a customer who never been to your store and had only called to get the number to another store.

I like Harris teeter and I go to this one all the time because it's close, but the other James Island locations are way better. I never understood why the one on Maybank and the one on the way out to Folly Road ended up so much nicer when this one didn't. I thy were all converted over at the same time. Oh well.

Clean, polite and convenient. But they're under some minor construction. BUT THEY MOVED ALL THE AISLES AROUND AND THERE'S NO RHYME OR REASON TO IT! Cleaning supplies on 3 different aisles.
