I love the people and how much they care. I have had trouble in the past dealing with vets that seem to always just want money but not with Stringer! I’m so glad we found them. Had to take my corgi to have surgery the other day and they handle things wonderfully.

I've come to him twice for my cat. Once he had to Lance open an abscess on his paw and the other treat conjunctivitis. Both times were not only affordable but informative and within a timely manner. When all other vets didn't have anything open for 3-4 days, Dr. Stringer took him in a day later and my cat didn't have to suffer waiting on an appointment. I will always come here.

We have been taking our dogs here for a couple of years and love it here. Doctor Stringer is extremely personable, caring, thorough, and answers any and all questions you might have. The staff is also very good. Pricing is very fair as well. We really love it here and will continue using them.

Everyone was so nice and Dr Stringer was great with my dog. Even thought she gave him a love bit. But then I got a little worried about 5 days later when I was back in N.C. So I called them and they call me right back. If I went to a vet where I'm living now it would have cost me at least twice what I paid. And if I called they would tell me I would have to come back in and charge me again. It's great to know that I have a great vet when I move there.

I was very impressed with everything at Stringer! Upon my arrival, I was greeted and taken care of promtly.When I was called back,I fully expected to go into a room and wait for the doctor and staff to come in and get started with my fur baby's initial visit. Instead, The doctor himself was there waiting on us! He talked to my dog as if she were human.. Just like I do! It was so refreshing and wonderful!! One would expect to pay extra for this type of treatment, but that was not the case!I will be bringing my cat when her shots are due! Your search for a vet stops here!

I have been here three times and they seem to get worse each time. The first time I had an appointment, but had to wait almost 30 minutes while the Dr was "on the phone". He may have been, but I could hear him, and the conversation did not start until well after my appointment time. My time is important, too, and I don't appreciate having it wasted.The second time I needed to get more pills for my cat - I called ahead and was told they would be ready. An hour later they were not, and the girl was relaxing with a soda in an empty office, with no sense that things had been too busy to get the pills ready. 10 minute wait while she "got the Dr."Then I called for flea medicine for my cat, went through the entire sex, weight, age thing and was told, sure, we have it, come on by. When I got there, she was ready with flea medicine for my dog. Oops, we don't have it for a cat, and they really didn't care that they'd wasted my time at 5:30 in the afternoon when there was almost no time to get it elsewhere. Luckily I had another vet's number in my phone and called; they were open another 15 minutes so I raced across town to Hendrix and got it there.The place is always empty, and the Dr. seems to not like animals. When I had my cat there, he hardly touched it. Most vets fondle and talk to the pets they treat, because they like animals.As a last ditch, no-other-option, maybe, but this is not a competent caring place for your pets.

The nursing staff was very warm but i found the doctor abrupt and cold. I took my 6 month kitty in with an eye scratch and needing first shots. I stated at the beginning of our encounter [the Dr. & I] that I needed to enquire about flea treatment. He diagnosed my kitten's eye, with an added horrible caveat of what it could be. Unnecessary, to say the least. Seeing as I lost her brother to a congenital heart disease, which set on with acute symptoms. Basically, he was symptomatic and diagnosed and put down within 12 hours. I was inconsolable. He never enquired about further treatment, except to check her eye. I found him uncompassionate. Maybe he just doesn't like cats? Or was it because I was his last appointment on a half day. Needless to say, not happy and not going back.
