Excellent town store with Washington Trust Bank inside. There is a pharmacy, and everything a chain grocery store offers, but with a small town feel. My dad always loved the prepared food section and the hot bar. The deli is excellent as well.

Bought some gluten free cookies from the cookie aisle, came home and realized they expired in January. went back to exchange them for ones that weren’t expired. Turns out all the cookies on the shelf were expired, some even dating back to 2022. Giving two stars because the cashier was very nice and understandable and immediately sent someone to pull all the expired cookies off the shelves. Got a full refund but I am sad they didn’t have to date cookies i could eat at my closest grocery store. CHECK YOUR DATES WHEN YOUR SHOPPING HERE !!!!

This is the BEST grocery store EVER !! I drive from Groton just so I can shop here, They have a HUGE variety of fresh made foods as well as a huge hot/cold food bar, also this store is nice & clean with such pleasant employees.

McQuades is a fantastic market. The meats are great and the sausage made there is terrific. They are also a good neighbor and support local charities (westerly unified bowling is one). Plus it easy to get in and out of the store

bakery gets 10 ⭐!!! produce can be iffy here. flowers shop also 10 ⭐!!! i do shop here occasionally but its not my 1st choice because they are very pricey.

I absolutely adore this market! They carry some gluten-free products which is a must in our home. They have baled goods and meals to go also. You can even get some lovely fresh flowers. I would definitely recommend a trip to this market, it's great!

Hot bar with fresh food including stuffed cod. Excellent selection of fresh seafood. Salad bar as well. They make prepared food to take home and eat. Try the stuffed mushrooms. Home made pasta and pizza. Plenty of parking.

Great place to do your shopping, good selection on groceries. Mc Quades has very good quality when it comes to their deli and bakery but it's a little pricey. If you have the money, Mc Quades is the place to go. Two things I like to note, their seafood is awesome & their bakery is to die for.

Great local business! Unlike the chain stores, they have packaged product (meats, etc) that are suitable to those who aren't always buying for a crowd. Their store made products are also tough to beat and great quality! I also have to compliment the staff as I've never had a bad encounter with anyone who works here.

Denied a refund on defective Christmas lights.Manager said he checked them and could find a problem - got home plug them in, and they were just as defective as they were when I was hanging them. I took photos photos and included them in a text I sent to the store. So far no response.I’ve lived in Westerly area for 25 years and have always tried to make it a point to support local businesses - even if their prices are a little higher than the large chain stores. I will continue to do so, but I will not patronize a business that tries to make me feel like a liar and a thief.

Great local market. The food is fresh and delicious. Nice spot to avoid the large crowded chain grocery store. They have everything you need here! The staff and employees are all friendly and incredibly helpful to the customers. They certainly go above and beyond by assisting the customer. The store is very clean and organized to make sense to the customer. I couldn’t find an item and a employee easily directed me to the isle it was located in. Great spot for locals they want to make a quick trip to the grocery store and for tourist in the area during the summer time. Definitely give it a shot!

This is a wonderful grocery store. Not to big not to small. Everything is fresh and yes the locals shop here. We love this little gem! Not over priced, clean and friendly. Deli, seafood, heat up meals, bakery, butcher and tons of produce. Thank you for keeping the locals in mind.

Great market. Whole Foods esk . They have their own stuff. Deli is primo. Not just Boars Head they have good stuff here . Decent bread couple odds and ends can be picked up here. They are doing a lot of things very well.

Selections are a little pricey but the store is very clean and the people are friendly. Great selection of prepared foods in the deli (quiches, Italian dishes, turkey with stuffing, etc.) but check the sell-by dates. I tend to not buy if the product is marked with the current date. Other than that, I have enjoyed the foods that are available for a ready-made quick meal that you can heat and eat.Fresh salad bar and mini hot buffet every day.

Excellent privately owned supermarket. Service that you won't find in the chain stores. Real butchers, excellent quality USA meats. Special requests happily accepted. Nice produce featuring locally grown, good variety of cheeses, instore bakery. Very involved in the community.

This might seem kind of bias because I used to work there but, McQuades makes the best Italian sausage in town. Their store made pizza dough is also the best that you'll find anywhere in my opinion. They always have great sales. Most of the staff have been there for years and know their clientele like they're family. If you're a local, be prepared to spend a little bit of time in the store as you will bump into friends and family and get caught up in conversation. It really is the best local independent grocery store in the area hands down.

Great local grocery store. Convenient location next to downtown Westerly. They may not have the variety of the big stores. But always have fresh produce Meat and Deli products. Also have a florist that has a nice selection of flowers. Washington Trust Bank is also located there. Which is convenient. They have great salads and soups at the salad bar.

This local hometown market has been a true staple of the area. They have everything you need without the confusion of the big box stores. The bakery is always ready to take your birthday cake requests and the deli is bar none the best in the area. Its competitively priced and you can't go wrong with this established grocery store that has a charm and feel you won't find anywhere else.
