What a wonderful local, small business in Warren! Dave and Audrey had great communication and professionalism before I first brought my dog and were warm and friendly in person. My 60 pound lab retriever was in and out in about 45 minutes. They only have one dog at a time so no long kennel waits or stress from a dozen other dogs barking. Will certainly come back.

My wife and I rescued our dog over a year ago and were unsure how he would respond to being handled by a stranger. Maverick, our pit bull, immediately fell for Dave and absolutely loved his first trip to the groomer. He is so excited each time we arrive at the groomer and calmly and peacefully sits in the tub while Dave does his thing. We could not be more thankful and appreciative to have someone who our dog is so comfortable with. Highly recommend!!

My pup need to get a good grooming and a friend recommended me to see Dave. Let me tell you I'm glad my friend gave me the recommendation and I recommend you take your dog/pupper for your grooming needs. Dave truly loves dogs and treated my pupper like he was his own. It was my puppers first time going to get groomed and Dave made the progress easy showed him he doesn't need be afraid of of the grooming process. He cut his nails and gave him a good bath at a good price. So if its your puppy's first time or if you're dog knows the ropes Dirty Dog Pet Grooming is the place for them. Thanks Dave

Dave does a great job with my two Siberians and my Swiss White Shepherd - and I’m sure they aren’t the easiest to bathe. Crate free and each dog gets nothing but one on one time. I trust that they are being handled with compassion when they’re being groomed, and for me that’s invaluable service.

I'm only sorry I didn't bring my boys to David sooner. He was so loving and gentle with my dogs who don't like going to the Vet or the groomer. David put them at ease and did a great job. He clearly loves animals and his work with them. I highly recommend David at Dirty Dog and he is now my go to groomer. Thanks, David!

Best groomer around. Not many people can handle a Saint Bernard but Dave is patient and his attention to detail is great. 1 on 1 service is why I keep coming back, I know my dog is getting all of his attention during the scheduled appointment.Dave obviously loves animas and is a master of his craft. He’s patient and my Saint comes out like a new man every time!

Dave accomplished the impossible. I have a Welsh Terrier Terror, that other groomers have not been able to handle. Dave did an awesome job, shaving the dog, trimming the nails (previously the dog's vet had to do while the dog was under anesthesia), & then shampooed & dried the dog. My dog is clean as a whistle & looks great. I could not be happier & highly recommend this business!

Groomer seems nice. Getting down and up the stairs to his grooming room is not user or handicap friendly at all. Groomer does NOT know how to groom my particular dog. When I left my dog with him she was NOT knotted or dirty and did not need to be cut down to 1/8" because I brush her multiple times a week. He shaved her double coat down to 1/8" and now she is shivering and must wear a coat which should never be necessary with my dog, so hence the 2 stars. What upset me was his excuse is, it will grow back. We also do NOT think she was washed or MAYBE the product he used did not work good on my dog cuz she had very dull fur and lots of dandruff when we picked her up, hence the 2 stars again. I apologize if this offends anyone but that was my experience with my particular dog. That groomer "said" he knew how to groom my particular dog when I called, he does not. I brought her to a breeder of my dog and they were shocked at ALL the fur he took off her.. now I have to be concerned she doesn't get sick during these upcoming cold months. Will not recommended this groomer for my type of dog.

Dave did an amazing job on our little doggy Bentley! He was severely matted due to the groomers closing because of Covid-19, so our boy was in dire need of a cut! Dave explained the caution that needed to be taken very thoroughly and took his time to make sure we were happy. Bentley is back to his old lively self because of the awesome job Dave did to assure he was comfortable. Will definitely be referring friends and family....Dave definitely knows his stuff!

After searching throughout the Bristol area and going to groomers who only ever complained about grooming my pup, I went to Dave and have been going since then. Not only was he able to build a relationship with my dog but he also taught me so many little things about properly grooming my dog. Very glad I found this place and continue to keep going to it!!

First off, I have been taking my dog here for about 2 years now. He is a big 100lb Doberman and I have had nothing but the best experiences at this place. Second... I wont stand for the talking down of this amazing man and what he does for pets. His service is like a doctors appointment for a child. You go with your pet at an allotted time, its only you, your pet and the groomer until the session is over. This ensures the safety and security of your pet. You wouldn't just drop your kids off at the doctors alone and say " yea call me when your done..". That shows what kind of parent/owner you are. His service is for one dog at a time and the tragic accident that happened at his business was because a customer left TWO dogs that were not friendly with each other and when he stepped out of the room for a split second the dogs got aggressive with one another and one of them slipped off the table and ended up strangling itself. A sad, tragic accident. So please, do not blame this gentleman for ANYTHING. Please get the facts before you judge. I will continue bringing my dog Max to this groomer because of his professionalism, love for dogs, and amazing grooming talent.

Amazing is what I can truly say about Dirty Dog Grooming- Our dog is a rescue who very early on her life must have had a very bad experience with water. Due to this fear of baths we searched out dog groomers who we could trust and found Dave. We are so pleased with the care and love that he gives to our dog Phoenix. Our first visit to see Dave was tough not on Phoenix but more on Dave because of her fear of the water she was extremely anxious and hyper but he took his time and when I came to pick her up she was happy and looked amazing. With his help we have begun to be able to break that fear of water- although she loves going in the bay/ocean it is just baths and showers she can not stand. We have been going to see Dave now for over 7 months and when we bring her to see him she is happy and when we come to pick her up she is happy. He goes above and beyond to make sure that your dog gets the grooming that he/she needs. I would recommend Dirty Dog Grooming to anyone in the area searching for caring and loving groomer who is very reasonably priced and makes your dog feel as if they are his own.

Since we moved back to RI, We've been to 4 different groomers and haven't found the right "fit". Until today.... we found that fit at Dirty Dog! Dave's love of animals shines through. He opts for quality over quantity and before digging in, really took the time to get to know my two yorkies and what would make me happy! We've undoubtedly found THE perfect groomer in Dirty Dog. Our dog is extremely difficult to groom (being adopted at 7 with an unknown, possibly abusive past) and he was kind and worked REALLY hard to groom him anyway. Amazing job! We couldn’t be happier and will deff bring both of our dogs here always.

Thrilled!! He takes one dog at a time so my dogs don't get shoved in a cage for hours and he does a terrific job on my Maltese and Yorkie. I highly recommend him. This place is great!!

If they were 10 stars for a review for this grooming business I would have given it 10 stars. We have an 8 year old rescue that we've had for a year who was abused as a backyard breeding dog with a lot of issues.We have been unable to find a groomer comfortable and brave enough to groom her.In fact,we had to have our Vet anesthetize her to shave her and do her nails.Grabriella and Bob came last night and with the help of a little medication and their patience and skill she looks amazing!!!Thank you both for taking a chance with her.Jane Lebel ,Mashpee

This gentleman is directly responsible for the untimely death of my good friends dog death.... I'm sure no one wanted this to happen but the pure negligence of leaving a dog an a work table with basically a noose around its neck.... if he was a responsible groomer he would have never put the dog in that danger... EVER! Then the lack of human empathy following the tragedy is the worst part. I want all of you to think about wether it is worth the risk of having you dog.... baby... part of your family put in this danger... please think twice before you return this groomer! I hope this helps change some laws in Rhode Island because I am so so heartbroken for my friend and her family!

I have been going to Dirty Dog Grooming in Warren RI for a number of years.Dave has always done an amazing job of grooming my golden retrievers.Today I brought Marcus and asked Dave when I could pick him up.I told him I would hang around town until he was ready.Dave calls you as soon as he is done.The dogs are never caged.Today he invited me to stay during the grooming process.I was impressed to say the least.He spent 15 minutes getting to know Marcus since this was my first visit with Marcus.The grooming and bathing process was great to watch.Dave pays attention to detail and was so gentle and caring with Marcus.You can see he loves dogs and what he does.He did a fantastic job as usual.His prices are very affordable.Dave is truly a dog whisperer.Give this place a shot.You will not be disappointed.

He is very good and very patient especially with my timid and crazy Chihuahua. He took time for her to get use to him. I HIGHLY recommend him!!
