The CVS pharmacy on Portsmouth RI does an excellent job. It is very busy but the employees take the time to help everyone. They are friendly and professional. It’s a pleasure to go there.

The drive through is always closed, and there is always a long line for the pharmacy, most times when people come to a pharmacy it’s because they are sick or in pain, and would rather not stand in a long line due to the drive through being closed. Most things are never is stock, and the doctor needs to send something else. Not impressed these days.

I am writing this specifically about their pharmacists. They are attentive, respectful and efficient. They are always polite and thorough. When Chris answers the phone I immediately know my needs will be addressed quickly and correctly.

There is no secret about the fact that pharmacy's are extremely busy and short staffed. HOWEVER when customers are waiting to pick up scripts, SOMEONE from behind the counter should have the decency to acknowledge the customer by simply saying " Someone will be right with you" IS THAT TO MUCH TO ASK OR ARE YOU TO GOOD FOR THAT! A woman walked by me twice and said nothing. I'm sorry I'm no less of a person then they are. People trying to find the cure for cancer have more personality!!

I have been a customer for years at CVS also my family has. The Portsmouth store is the best, always helpful and friendly. Lucille a cashier has been extremely helpful, friendly and professional. She is a definite asset to your store...

Every time I come here, it’s a problem. Half the time the drive thru is closed. I called about a prescription and was met with a condescending attitude. I pulled up in the drive thru to pick it up, and two people just stare at me. I figured they might be helping someone else, so I waited a few minutes. Finally I rang the bell and a third pharmacist walked right by me, looked at me, and kept going. I waited another minute - there are cars behind me now. Pressed the button again, and the same woman that walked past me comes up, looks at me blankly, and says “sorry. Date of birth.” I explained that I had two prescriptions, but only wanted the antibiotics because the second prescription was no longer needed. I then said “so, I’ll just take the antibiotics, please.” She comes back and rings me up. When I get home, she had charged me $22 for the prescription I specifically asked her not to bring me. Can I return it? No. Im not sure what the issue is, but a friend of mine had the same problem(s): poor service, lack of friendliness/professionalism, and straight up not listening to what the patient has to say.

Rude customer service at drive thru. Had a prescription that Tiverton CVS (5 STARS, BY THE WAY), and was told it would be available once there. I pulled up to the window and the pharmacy technician took exception to my asking about a transfer of information. I was treated as a second class citizen throughout the entire interaction. It's only 5pm on Wednesday girl...get it together!

CVS is great, I love it. CVS is where I go to buy my Xbox and Amazon gift cards, the employees are very kind. They are a great community.

I give cvs a four because ive had problems with the pharmacy. Chris is great if he was the only one to deal with and all the ladies are very very nice u would enjoy each visit even waiting. One pharmacist had loed and with my Dr. Also found this lie and.I went.wo my medication for days. Im a.very sick person crippled up.and I need.what I take because I choose not to take opiods to make.me.addicted. I do however need what u do take or I get sick and pain becomes.dramatic. Ive have an eight disc fusion and sciatica. Many surgeries along with painful procedures weekly trying to just walk again. Inside the store is very clean. I like that. I love the girls at the window at the drive thru and if u need something they will grab it for you. Sometumes theres one that spoils the bunch but i dont let it get to me. I just call chris and let him k ow whats going on when hes back in work. I suggest u ha e a problem w the pharmacy you go to him. Again the girls feelike friends and remember mostly everyone dob ect.
