My boy Jackson has LOTS of energy! Even though I work from home I bring him here at least twice a week to tire him out and give him the socialization he needs. He has severe separation anxiety, so the first couple times I brought him there he was a bit hesitant. Now I can’t even say the word “Toto” if he’s within earshot. He doesn’t even look at me when I drop him off… he jumps on the door because he can’t get inside fast enough. Staff has always been very nice and the fact they have Sunday/after hours availability is a life saver. Knowing I always have somewhere to bring him in the event of an emergency is priceless. Thank you Friends of Toto!!

I have been bringing Brady to FOT for years. He jumps out of the car to play. The staff is very friendly. I can drop him off and be confident that he’s being well taken care of. The dog grooming is also good, I drop him for daycare in AM and then a grooming in the afternoon. When I pick him up, he’s a tired clean pup!!

We love Friends of Toto! We've been going for about 6 months, and Tucker is always excited to go to daycare. The employees there are always happy, helpful, friendly, and seem excited to see Tucker too. They also post stories giving a glimpse of your dog's day, I'm never worried when he's there and have never had any issues. I would definitely recommend Friends of Toto!

I’ve been bringing my golden retriever here since she was 4 months old atleast once a week. She’s now 8 months. The second she knows where we are she gets all excited and can’t get in the door fast enough! She loves it. The people are very nice too. She also recently had her first grooming session ever which i was worried about how she would be but they had a very detailed note explaining how great she did and what she was timid with! I plan on doing her grooming here moving forward. She looked great! Everytime I pick her up she’s tired and very calm the rest of the night which is great because that puppy energy can be crazy! Thank you guys for all your help and accommodations with request / last minute bookings!

Amazing place! I got brooke as my small dog's groomer she got her nails cut and anal glands expressed without a hitch in like 10 minutes! Petco had said that my dog wouldn't let them do it but turns out they were just inexperienced! Will be back from now on. Great prices too!!

We are so grateful for Friends of Toto. Our two little maniacs (Jasper & Winnie) love it there so much. They do daycare and board when needed - Jasper is a tough little man and can be ~spicy~ but the staff is so patient and good with him that I feel at ease sending them both. It’s clean, *safe,* and someone is with them 24 hours to make sure everyone is safe and content. We have recommended the facility to other dog parents and will continue to do so. ❤️

My experience here was an absolute disaster. I was hired and lasted all of one day. As soon as a walked in for my first day, neither of the coworkers wanted to train me and the employees started arguing in front of me while I just stood there. The level of unprofessionalism and aggression displayed at this place is beyond belief. I have worked at a different doggie daycare facility and it was great, the dogs were treated with care, love, and respect so I didn’t expect this. Friends of Toto seemed like they were running a circus rather than a daycare/boarding facility. Honestly, I never write reviews or care enough to express my opinion, but coming from someone who is in college majoring in animal science and has a deep love for animals, this place should really reevaluate how they do things. They didn’t train me and when I went to the back I saw all the workers who were just complaining about the dogs the whole time and straight up mistreating them. There was multiple instances where dogs were being kicked, dragged and thrown across the room. I also saw them picking up dogs and throwing them over the fence and drop them instead of letting them through the door. Dogs were fighting each other while they did nothing. There was a complete disregard for safety protocols. The lack of proper training and handling was evident, and it’s no surprise that the dogs were acting out. Overall, I witnessed instances where potentially dangerous situations were shrugged off with careless attitude. Please don’t trust this place coming from someone who’s seen what happens in the back. Don’t run a company you don’t actually feel passionate about.I’ve read the response and I wanted to say that1) I never said I was uncomfortable with being near the dogs. I expressed my concern to the manager about not being trained about how the system works and tasks I should be expected to perform. I have experience but that doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t be properly trained because every company is different.2) I would NEVER lie about what I saw. I’m not sure how clear the footage is but if I’m saying this, you as the owner should take it seriously and talk to your workers and maybe come in more often to see what is happening. My intentions are not to harm people or businesses and I do believe that the owner is probably passionate but again, maybe doesn’t know what is happening. I never make reviews because it’s simply a waste of my time. I’m doing this to let customers know what I saw because I truly care about the well being of animals.

Our 1 year old Alfie loves going to Friends of Toto. The staff is very caring and friendly - I feel my dog is treated like family.I highly recommend the meat cakes that are sold for special occasions. Drop-off and pickup is very easy. I also love watching the Instagram stories for updates. Alfie has made many dog and human friends since we brought him here.

We have nothing but good things to say about Friends of Toto!! My fiancé and I adopted KaliDecember 2020 and brought her to a daycare close by and had terrible experience. She would have cuts, bruising and acted weird at home. The final straw was a gash under her eye and they offered no explanation. We immediately found Friends of Toto and Kali has not gone anywhere else. They are so kind and gentle with her! It is very comforting to know that she is well taken care of during the day and when we board her. Staff is amazing and truly care about our pups! We drive an extra few miles knowing that she is at her home away from home!

My husband and I made a last minute decision to take a road trip to Colorado and we needed to find somewhere to board our 10 month old mini goldendoodle, Butters. We only had a week. A lot of places were booked, some places wanted to do a meet and greet type thing but couldn’t fit us in etc. we found Friends of Toto, read all of the amazing reviews and checked out their Instagram and knew this was the one! I was able to set up everything online, send our vet documents, write out his feeding schedule/directions and any other info that would be helpful for them to know. They verified his vaccinations with our vet and approved Butters’ stay within like 24 hours, it was fast and a very easy process. They were so quick with replying back too if we had questions, someone is always there when you call as well and that gave me peace of mind. They were very flexible with dropping off and picking up. I love that you can check their Instagram and see videos and photos everyday. My family and I loved checking out the videos every morning to see what Butters was up to. We are planning another trip in the near future and will definitely be boarding our boy with Friends of Toto!!

To preface this, I’ve never had a problem with Friends of Toto before- my dog Chandler used to go to daycare there every day and I’ve never seen this happen before. However my partner and I just dropped him off for boarding for two days while we moved apartments. When we picked up Chandler, his fur was painfully matted all around his neck. It took two hours to detangle and left a huge bald patch. Chandler was visibly in pain and whimpering from how bad the knots were. Not sure what happened exactly but I will not be bringing him back.

Very disappointed with my last visit at Friends of Toto and will not be a returning customer. I’ve been bringing my dog for grooming in the last 6 months and never had any issues with their grooming service. They are great, however, they were not transparent about the new price change. I brought in my dog and when they call me to pick him up I notice an increase. I asked them about it and they told me that the price changed “today”, 7/1/2023. They explained the reason for the increase and an email was supposed to be sent (which I was not aware of or never received it) about the new price change. I checked my inbox and their portal and found no info about it.I understand things happens and price can increase but I would appreciate if they were upfront with me about the new change when I dropped off my dog so I’m not surprised learning about this. The total amount was not what I was expecting and the increase was about $15 more. To me this is not a way to treat an loyal customer. It doesn’t matter if it is an increase $5, $15, $20, or even $50, but it’s about transparency.Thank you!

My puppy Marvin was diagnosed with a terminal illness (liver shunt) and Friends of Toto added so much to his quality of life for the short time he had. He required round the clock care + medication, so their flexibility/attentiveness made it possible for me to still work and have a safe place for him to go when I could not be with him. I always felt he received personalized care. He would essentially drag me inside bc it was his favorite place. They even sent us get well care packages when he wasn’t feeling well enough to play with his friends at daycare. They are truly the most caring and knowledgeable pet care facility. Will never be able to thank them enough!

Everyone at Friends of Toto is absolutely amazing! I have to admit I’m an overprotective mom because my dog Roxie has some challenges. The staff put me at ease immediately. They are so wonderful with Roxie! It’s great to see that she is well taken care of when she is at daycare. It is also very convenient that they are always open and can be flexible to meet the needs of my demanding work schedule. Well done, Friends of Toto! You guys are awesome!

We just picked up our dog Marcella from a week+ stay at Friends of Toto. Like any dog parent, I was nervous dropping her off as it was our first time boarding her but as soon as I saw the facility and was greeted by a friendly staff we knew she would be in great hands. I also really appreciated the fact that they are staffed 24/7 which was really important when selecting a place to board our dog. The team provided updates when we asked and were very responsive. I felt so at ease while we were away knowing she was in great care. I also love how the staff knows every single dog by name. It might seem minor, but shows that they really care about the dogs.When we brought her home she ate dinner and immediately went to sleep. She is clearly exhausted from all of the fun playtime she had!We will definitely be bringing her back not only for future boarding but also for daycare. Thank you Friends of Toto!

I have bought my 2 pups here for grooming for 2-3 years and they have always done a great job. I will not be bringing them back however because within 4 months their price increased twice with no warning. Not very professional.

Oh man, I can't rave enough about this place! I've been looking for a daycare for my hound since I moved to the area and this place is perfect. For the entire day it's $33 for daycare and she comes back exhausted and happy. They even offer baths for an extra charge and they will feed your dog too if you request it and bring your pups food. I love that you make a profile online for them and the staff posts photos of your dog having a fun time that you can view later on in the day. I also love that every dog that goes there is fully vetted meaning, they won't let a dog in unless they're up to date on their vaccinations in order to keep all the pups safe. I highly recommend taking your pet here, and I don't trust just anyone with her. She sees the building and gets SO excited when we arrive which is all I need to know about trusting this place.

I read the few bad reviews posted here and I’m surprised! I guess every experience is different.My experience has been amazing. I’m very protective of my 8 month old dog. I love her so much that I wouldn’t dare leave her with just anyone. I tried a few daycare facilities in RI and in Boston ..and although they were all adequate …Friends of Toto is the best by far. They are caring, loving and protective of their little customers. I know it because of the way my dog behaves when we pull in - she wound jump out the window if I Don’t get out fast enough. To me, my dog’s reaction when she sees the staff there is the best recommendation anyone can give me.I can work and travel with the confidence that my baby is in the best hands. Thank you.

I’m a new dog owner and needed to board my puppy who is only 7 months old. I was really nervous leaving my pup anywhere over night but as soon as I walked into friends of Toto, I was calmed quickly as I knew she was in good hands. They did a great job and I can tell they gave her lots of love! Also very nice to be able to see what my dog is up to on Instagram while I am away. I highly recommend friends of Toto!

From what I know of them so far they are fantastic. I had a long talk with one of the people that works there that works directly with the animals and she said that the name is Friends of Toto because the owner is a huge fan of the wizard of oz. That's also one of my personal favorites. It's a great place for your dog to meet new friends and have some fun. Remember dogs deserve to enjoy their lives too and be social. Friends of Toto has always been just a phone call away and has been so accommodating to me and my little family. I have been bringing my dog to Friends of Toto for two years and would recommend them to anyone looking for dog daycare or any other services they provide. My pup has pretty extreme separation anxiety and can’t be left home alone, even for short periods of time. Friends of Toto’s flexible hours and support are the only reason I have been able to keep my dog. She loves being there and I love seeing her on their social media having fun with the other dogs. The staff really makes me feel like she is special to them and every day I bring her she runs up to the door because she is so excited. Every member of this staff has gone out of their way to be kind and supportive of Rosie and me. I am so grateful Friends of Toto exists in my city and that I can keep my dog healthy and happy! My dog storm is an energetic big boy. I had to board him at Friends of Toto and they were extremely accommodating. The staff is so friendly and loving. I loved seeing him on Instagram and seeing how happy he was. I have put him in daycare there now and he gets so excited as soon as we get on the street! I have been to other daycares but nothing has compared to Friends of Toto! The online portal makes things so easy for us parents and Storm is a happy boy! Thank you so much!!

I starting bring my dog Rosie here when she was 5 months old. I loved the way they greeted her and made her comfortable before I even left. They post videos and pictures on their Instagram throughout the day so I can keep an eye on her, which is how I know that they take amazing care of the dogs. Every time I bring Rosie she runs to the door and doesn’t look back when she goes inside. She is exhausted from playing every day when I pick her up. I love Friends of Toto and will definitely recommend them to anybody looking for a daycare.

I first starting boarding my dog at Friends of Toto when I lived in the area. I have moved 25 minutes away and still return to board him there when I need it. The staff are great, and my dog Tank really seems to enjoy going in, which has not been the case with other facilities. They also have been super accommodating when I had last minute needs. My dog is also a senior dog and they are really on top of when he needs to chill out and have a little break time. I have been very pleased with this place and am happy to have found it.

Friends of Toto is amazing! Our dachshund Elton gets so excited as soon as we pull in the driveway. The online portal makes everything so easy, the staff is friendly and helpful, and we know Elton is being well taken care of whether he’s there for a few hours of daycare or a few nights of boarding. I cannot recommend them enough!!
