I’ve been coming to this family dollar a couple times a week for 3 years, I always bring my 5lb teacup yorkie in with me without a problem, he was always welcomed. There is also no sign on the building that says no dogs. Today we go in and there must be a new manager, she sees my dog when we walk in and doesn’t say anything. When I get up to the cash register to cash out (as she was barking orders miserably at her employees) my dog barked and she told me unless he’s a service dog I can’t bring him in anymore. If there was a problem with bringing him in why let me do my whole shopping and then say something?? I ended up putting my stuff back and said I’ll go to dollar general down the road from now on which she replies ok that’s fine. This location is always dead every time im in the store I’m one of the only people in there to be losing customers is a shame. She was miserable with her employees and the same way with her customers. I’ll never spend my money here again.

went into Family Dollar today 1/7/2022 Store looked amazing. Was very clean everything was neatly hung and the shelves were all in order . I commented to the manager what a great job she had done. Employees are friendly and professional!!

I have been in a lot of Family Dollar locations that I have walked in, to walk right back out, without purchasing anything..just filthy, cluttered, u shop able, unorganized chaotic heaps of merchandise. I have lived in scituate for 5 years now and I cannot say how much I appreciate this location. The employees are so sweet and I can't imagine how hard they work so their store DOESNT look like the other locations. I would give as many stars as there have been times that i've been there to shop or for just a quick grab. That would be a billion stars, and it would be well deserved. Thank you guys for doing what you do, you guys deserve more than stars!

They always greet me with a smile and last night they were singing and stocking shelves and helping customers. I never feel rushed while shopping or at the register. My church runs a health and hygiene program and I know when I need supplies I can count on quality and low prices.

The prices are equivalent to other small stores in the area. I had visited to get cream cheese. They had one package. The box of this package was opened. There is only ever one cash register open. There is no sufficient place to put the products you are purchasing. This IS supposed to be a quick shopping place, but because the store carries nearly every household need, you can fill the mini-carriages they provide, and easily fill the handbaskets provided.On my visit, I purchased corn starch even though the cream cheese was unavailable. I watch the cashier struggle to accommodate a large order, and she was hit in the head by a mop handle with no apology from the customer who was oblivious. There was a line of three people. The cashier never got flustered or nasty with the customers, which I found commendable. I would have made an exclamation with the abuse this customer was putting forward, and on a Sunday.There are no other workers in the store at various times, and so a customer is left on their own to find products in a packed store. There is not much room to walk between isles. Everything from Liquid Plummer to Eyeliner can be found in this store. Art work to decorate, shower curtains, and pet food are all here. I also picked up a dollar bag of Carry Outs burgers for my dog. There were different types for a dollar available. There was a variety of cat products as well, with bird food too. I did not note rabbit, hamster, or other possible small animal food present besides fish food, and it was not a common brand.This store has reasonable prices for what is there. Brands can range from Kellog's to something you have never seen before for a lesser price. There is a small area for socks, underwear, and like items. Hygene products are plentiful, and at a reasonable price for name brands.At the register, there were tablets for $50, batteries and small young child enexpensive quality toys. The woman before me ordered cigarettes, and the cashier asked her if she didn't want what was apparently her brand she picks up regularly at this location. The customer laughed at the fact the cashier knew her brand better then she did. It is "small town" shopping for sure. Because of this, I was not surprised that the store was out of cream cheese. The Villiage IGA is about a mile further down the road, has higher prices, but quality meats are available there. It is not a quick shop lime Family Dollar is. This store is a step up from a gas station market.

DO NOT, under any circumstances, give this establishment your money. They employ a pathological liar who cannot separate work from play and smokes weed on the job without consequence - and their district manager Jessica is equally untrustworthy, not to mention utterly spineless. False allegations from the aforementioned employee caused me to be harrassed on multiple occasions by the local police, and banned from the location even after the aforementioned district manager assured me they would stop this defamation of my character. I have never been more outraged, nor have I ever had my dignity/rights violated to such an extent as what transpired at this store. I will be reporting my experience to corporate headquarters.

I always go to the family dollar on Danielson pike. The people there are so friendly and the store is always clean and stocked. Liz is my favorite cashier. Always cheerful.

No problem finding a parking spot. Big Lot!! Helpful, friendly staff. The store Inside has enough room in the isles to get thru without bumping into someone else's carriage!! Decent prices with good sales.

The customer service in this store is WONDERFUL. Every time I visit the store I feel welcomed and everyone is so helpful. The store is clean and organized and the prices are great.
