I like Dollar general, because you can get most of your food items even cheaper than a grocery store and canned foods only thing I don’t like is they don’t carry springwater they only have purified water by the case

I go to the West Greenwich general store I really like the boy employee there he's very helpful on top of everything. I just don't understand how you let your employees work in the conditions of no AC you pay them Billy minimum wage you make tons of money there's Dollar general's popping up everywhere and you refuse to fix the AC at that store. It's disgusting you let all that food and products get hot it's ruined I buy stuff there that doesn't even last a week I really wish that you would make that a priority seeing it's a very busy store I guess you just want your paycheck at the end of the week and all the profits get it together.

Employees are wonderful! The store itself, 85% of the shelves are either empty [unless you consider empty boxes and broken products useful) or so full and disorganized its frustration beyond belief. Many isles are filled with stock or empty stock boxes, to the point it's a fire hazard. To corporate, your solution is absolutely NOT blaming your employees. Anytime I've ever said to them how ridiculous it is that they are staffed to a minimum and are held to maximum expectations... They answer, "I'm always busy. I don't mind. It's no big deal." Not ONCE did anyone agree forget respond in a negative way. The Coventry store today was bad. Please give your stores the staff and respect they deserve. You claim to "treat" everyone from customer service to CEO with the same respect but as an outsider. I feel horrible for how you under pay, under staff and, over work your customer service employees. Maybe if we stop shopping at your stores your staff will have the proper time to stock and clean?

The one and only person on duty was nothing short of amazing. She was fast, friendly, and helpful. She effortlessly juggled the cashier duties, helping people find what they needed, and restocking and cleaning. Dollar General needs to hire her some help, and give her a huge raise and/or bonus!!!

Dislike this store, always low quality n poor selection, they also contribute to lowering availability of good food to many areas. I can't image that being the only place to get groceries, but for many they have nothing else, just awful they can't get any healthy food in there locations.

First time to this store and the last time! Most aisles were blocked with products that needed to be placed so you had to turn around. One freezer already out of order!The clincher was seeing a milk delivery sitting in the aisle and unattended. When I questioned the cashier he said that it was delivered 30 minutes ago and he was alone and couldn’t get to it but he had a four hour window or it would be no good!,I told him that 30 minutes was too long. Where was his manager??This is a new store and very mismanaged

Very nice store, you can find almost anything you need. The store is very clean and the employees are nice. Very good deals especially if you have kids who like snacks and cereal.

This store is terrible. Half the time when I go in there you have to go search for an employee just to ring you out. They never restock their items. I’ve gone there twice to do a propane exchange and they’ve been out of propane for three months. I only go here because it’s close to home. Wish they opened a family dollar instead. Family dollar has their stuff together. They should fire management.

Must check prices carefully. Not everything is a bargain. The isles are very narrow and difficult to navigate. Not a fan of the parking lot. Spent a lot more than i wanted too. I will probably not go back

Stop and Stop and Wal-Mart are too long of a walk to get things I want. Dollar General may not have everything but I can get in and out in less than 10 minutes.
