Busy afternoon, store looked very understaffed. I asked a guy if he was available to help me with a fish and he said "give me a minute", went to back of store, came back to reptile area and started chatting with two other browsing customers about how cool some of the reptiles were. I stood a few feet away from him waiting in his direct line of sight, wasn't going to interrupt while he was talking with others, then he took off again. So I walked out of the store. Never saw him before, probably new, but employees need better training in assisting customers.

We took our dog for a grooming appointment and had Addison as our groomer. She was professional and knowledgeable. We watched as she groomed our dog and she was AMAZING! Her techniques were great and you could tell she loves what she does and her passion for animals. When we were finished she came out and spoke to us about everything she did and gave us advice for future service. I HIGHLY recommend Addison for grooming. We will definitely be back and use her!

Where'd your fish go where did most of your animals go? Why'd your prices go up? Why am I paying? $18 for a plastic muzzle and $34 for inflatable medical collar. This is ridiculous and like I said where'd your fish go. I don't even want to go here anymore to try and get fish because between the amount of tanks that are filthy and disgusting and the amount that have dead fish floating in them and my personal favorite. The amount that showcased that there is like six or seven different varieties of fish in each tank and when I stand there and look at the tank I might see five fish in the entire tank and they're all the same variety so it's incredibly understocked and doesn't seem to be getting any better. So from now on it's PetSmart more options, better prices and they actually take care of their fish

When I came into the store all I heard was puppies barking. No people, just precious barks! I walked back to an employee who was working in one of the reptile cages with a question about the e mail I received about the black Friday deals and 25% off. She admitted to not knowing so she paged her manager to come assist. The manager arrived prompt and helpful. I was able to grab what I came for and proceed to check out. I used my digital coupon. Both staff I encountered were nice.

ALWAYS double check prices. They will price match (hence the 2 starts not 1) but their prices are never consistent, even in store. This has happened to me at least 3 times where the online price was cheaper or even the price in store did not match the register.

I take my pup here about every two months to get trimmed and pampered. My only complaint is when I do the nail clipping, which is every two weeks or so, they never seem to trim them very short. The very next day he is clacking all over the floor still... I feel prices are a little high, but you do get very good service so I don't mind that much.

I recently visited the West York Store and I shop there often. I visited the ladies restroom and couldn't believe how disgusting it was. It was early afternoon the store had only been open for a few hours. The walls were dirty. Around the bottom of the toilet was so dirty looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks. The floors looked like they had not been swept or mopped in a while. There is a sign on the door saying We pride ourselves on providing you with clean restrooms.

This particular petco has been my favorite to shop. It has a very friendly staff, reasonable prices and a healthy aquarium section, and by healthy I mean just that. The fish seem to be in better condition/health than other stores I've visited in the area, and there was a wide variety to choose from.

NEVER has anything in stock! Inventory is never right! I ordered cat litter for my cat and went to pick up the next day they told me they didn’t have it in stock. I was charged for something I NEVER received. The short girl, brown hair with glasses told me they have no record of it and that it should be returned to my card which it did not and it’s been weeks. They aren’t very friendly at this location either. Definitely contacting corporate office about being charged and not receiving my stuff.

Do not buy and reptiles from them they come malnourished and then have issues 4 months later. He currently has seizures from the malnutrition that happened from the pet store hope we fix them

Went there tonight to buy fish and got dropped off out front at 8:43 pm. After looking at the fish and finding someone to help me i was told that it was too late to get fish. Needless to say i was quite upset because i had plenty time. It was 8:53 when i walked outside. I've been in retail enough to know you lock your doors and tend to your customers. The girl who told me this was very rude. I asked to take her picture and she said sure and just smiled. I'll never ever go there again. And that's her. I will be sending it to corporate or her boss. Very unprofessional.

Go onto their website they have hella deals for in store pickup and if you buy it online woth the deals theyre usually done within 15 min got a $170 automatic cat litter box for like 130 mich less thab what its going for on AMAZON xDKitty already used it once ajd i have her nornal litter box next to it so she has the option still

Went to buy Ferrets refused to sell us Ferrets because they were "on hold" told us they were on hold since DECEMBER! Its now May! Went to another Petco and was informed they are not allowed to hold any animal. Store was dirty, staff is barely around took me 10 minutes to find someone. Will not be returning. Will be going to East End Petco. So much cleaner, better staff, and better selection!

Beautiful new store. I havent been in for a couple of years since I moved to dc. I thought it was closed but then my dad told me it was relocated! Tanks are clean and fish are healthy! The man in the fish dept asked me a questions about my tank, he was seemed to care very much about the animals and their well-being, making sure I knew what I was doing. Ive also attached a photo of my tanks! Guppies and. Ballon mollies are my thing!

Several times I have went to pickup crickets and have had to wait over 10 minutes at the registers until an employee finally shows up. They are nice and helpful when they actually show up thats why they get 2 stars. Hire some people.

The staff was awesome and took great care of my dog. The prices were reasonable. My dog looked and smelled great. They put purple bows in her hair afterwards.
