They are either not open or closed at early hours. The manager has plenty of opportunities to hire employees but doesn’t. I’ve heard multiple people ask about a job there and get ignored. This store absolutely needs a new GM and haul-over. If the “manager” is complaining about not having enough workers to get truck done etc then maybe the company should pay more and in return have better quality employees INCLUDING a NEW GM! Ive ran businesses for years and if it’s truck day and I was alone I’d get there early and handle my companies business. You can’t expect a business to be run with an unqualified GM and underpaid workers. It’s 2023 DG.

I don’t know what’s going on at this store!! Several times the store has been randomly closed when it should be open. Today the music in the store was so loud I could barely think. Then the clerks at the checkout were singing along to the loud music!! Don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon! 👎🏻

Store is only open for 4 hours a day. Horribly understaffed. Damaged items everywhere. Cant walk through the aisles. Dollar general is an evil corporation who takes advantage of the employees that stay. I would be shocked if the manager makes more than $15. AWFUL

Never open when I go every single time. They need to update their hours online, if they are gonna close when they feel like it. Wasted my time yesterday and went at 3pm and they were already closed.... 😒 🙄 & also one other they had two people at least and were telling us to hurry up they closing at 5pm...why!??? other dollar generals go by there hours that are online and on the door!!!

The store in Manchester on North George st. Is inexcusably a complete disaster. I'm to the point where I refuse to enter it. Don't bother grabbing a cart. The isles are so packed with boxes and pallets, you can't even walk through them, and you won't have any merchandise to put in your cart because it's all inside of said cluttered boxes instead of on the shelves. How is this store even open anymore? It used to be nice. Management should be seriously ashamed of themselves.

This place is a joke they close 3 and 4 hours before their closing time and open whatever time I guess. It’s never a set time, sometimes it’s at 9 or 10.The fact is that they are supposed to be open at 8 and they never are. I will never even bother driving here anymore to even see if they are open. What a joke.

Their smoked hamburger patties and milk steaks are amazing. The manager was very nice, she let me buy cigarettes with my food stamps and threw in a pack of opened pampers for buying so much!

Fair place, convenient for cigs, but I have 2 New Charges Tht I did NOT make on my bank account, asked the manager and she said they had no record. Was overcharged at the same Dollar General and they're staff was in my face arguing. Thanks

Normally it's ok, but today I am angry!! The poor lady working is visibly ill and I mean dogsick!! She had no choice but to work because not one person in the entire company would work for her. I'm so tired of people being forced to work under these circumstances, it is poor business practice. Pay a better wage dollar general maybe you could get some employee's.

Always great prices to the service. Then as I was about to walk out seen one of my favorite horror movie's which was priced at a lovely four dollars, so yes I had to get.

Do Not Cash your Western Union transactions here. I called Western Union and they said DG is an unauthorized dealer. And now my $ is frozen til tomorrow. You'd think they know that. SMH!!
