Depending on who is working some you can tell they are having a rough day or they hate the job completely and when you ask for a location of an item most of the time they just point and say down that isle, instead of actually showing you. And lately most of the shelves are empty ( but it's also a problem at other stores due to covid) but even before covid certain items would be out quick. I shop at dollar general every other day if not everyday and I feel like they need happier people and better manager in their stores.

These mfs always late opening up the store aint no way they supposed to open at 8am and they always come way past 9. DONT COME HERE TILL “MAYBE” the afternoon

The place to be completely honest is addicting. There is such a huge selection of items to purchase and sadly I cannot visit this store without leaving with more than I had originally intended to buy. The two young ladies at the counter were very polite and maintained good composure with the large amount of customers in the store with some being not so pleasant. I'm new to the York area and will continue to shop here.

I go to the Dollar General because it is closer to my house than Walmart. The prices are a little bit higher than Walmart, but the convenience makes it well worth it. The cashiers are very friendly and efficient. And the selection and variety of products is more then satisfactory.. I would highly recommend Dollar General. And I will continue to shop here.

Manager is very rude. I've been going there for many years due to its convenient location to my home. I always try to be friendly to the manager but he never answers my greetings. I cringe when I have to ask for his assistance. He will slowly stop what Hes doing and without saying a word will take you to the spot you need to be then he will walk away. He is apparently burnt out. Do him and your customers a favor and put him out to pasture.

Less expensive than the grocery store for household items. Like stopping here when I need stuff for the house and don't want to go to a big store like Target. Can even pick up bread, milk, and eggs. Very convenient!

This store is always dirty - inside and out. They rarely have what you need. They have ran out of bags, receipt paper at the front. There is never enough employees and long lines. The prices and quality products is very good however.

Great place to shop for all your household needs from baking, crafts, school supplies to office supplies to outside gardening to outside fun Dollar General is the place. Families on a budget can fine reasonably priced snacks, groceries, clothes and shoes. I personally like the place for paper goods, laundry detergent and cleaning products

Store was clean enough, well stocked and organized(at least while we were there) and pretty much exactly what you would expect from a dollar store.Staff seemed fairly uninterested, but nobody was rude or unwelcoming.

At this location, they had only 1 cashier but there was another person working but I couldn't figure out why she wasn't helping. Also, the store looked a mess and there wasn't enough parking outside.

this store has made a remarkabke turn around!! it was at one point one of the most trashed, dirty, unorganized DG i have ever been in. now it is clean and organized. manager very friendly (on phone while ringing out customers) but sometimes managers need to multi-task

Always love Dollar General for treats for my grandbabies, cleaning supplies and health and beauty aids at cheaper prices than most anywhere. Only giving 3 stars since the aisles are always so crowded with stuff, and overall neatness of store.

Nice little store to shop in. Good prices and friendly staff. They need a bigger store though. It's kind of tight getting through the aisle's and I have to take the bus to get there

Says store hours updated by the store 3 days ago..Closes at 10. Drove across town to this store at 9:15 to see a sign on the door they close at 9! Thanks for the update👍

The absolute worst Dollar General I have ever been to. The store is filthy and there is never anything stocked on the shelves because the merchandise is pilled up in boxes clogging the isles. The staff is rude and sits on their phones texting rather then ringing you up!

Nice to go if you need something in a pinch. Honestly half of it is nothing but overpriced dollar store items. Much better deals at big dollar stores.

Dollars general is my favor store in all york because the product is really cheap in the parking lot is smaller than walmart /is nothing like dollars general if would be up to me i give 20 star 6 or 7 tha how good they are

Much like all Dollar Generals this place seemed a mess. Everything from un-stocked inventory just sitting anywhere and everywhere. This is a need a specific item and get out place.

I was there yesterday and the service was horrible. It was busy in the store and one of the cashier's had a bad attitude. My wife took my children to the store with her today and the fat ass manager followed them.around like they were criminals. I don't think we will be shopping this store anymore .

Nice customer service, but seems like always unloading a truck when I go, so the aisles are usually blocked.

They are short staffed so the inventory was in boxes all over the store. They didn't have a lot of product on the shelf and checkout line was long and only one register was open.
