The good is that this place has a large variety of products. Some places like Sam's in Hanover/York carry the same vanilla products with limited variety. BJ's excels here. Where it gets it wrong is in the store itself. So many times I was interested in a product but there is NO PRICE TAG. The one time I took pictures of missing price tags and went to the front of the store. I had 4 examples. The woman at the counter said that it's usually not a problem and they would look into it. That was two years ago. Every time I go in I see at least two items missing price tags so I just walk past them without purchasing. Compared to the other wholesale clubs, it never happens at Costco and rarely at Sam's...but BJ's, every trip there is at least one item without a price. And the bargain bins at the front of the store...how much is everything in those carts? It's almost like it is a guessing game or it is intentional so only employees can know how much something is so they can buy it. I think I will start adding photos of products missing prices when I think about it....not that anyone at this location will care in the slightest.

I hate being negative any day; especially around the holidays. But I have to express my disappointment. I have been getting special occasion cakes from B.j's for many years.Loving them. This year is/was my baby's 16th birthday, so I ordered the cake. And it was so disappointing, the cake was uneven, the decor was falling and peeling off as soon as I opened the box. I wanted to return it but I didn't have a back .Just saddened.

Re joined after several years for great gas prices. Wandered the store and realized some serious savings on groceries. Glad to be a member again.

At York pa Customer service lady some are not very nice comparing to other stores and I got to say this even some of Walmart employees are better . I hope they are changing their attitude because you are going to lose the customer.

I have been a member since before the pandemic. I have two young, GROWING boys. I have found that for most items you cannot beat the prices in bulk form. I also love their brand especially the paper products. Yes prices have gone up and every once in a while things are out of stock but what stores haven't had these issues with comparable brands (Wal-Mart, Giant, etc.) especially since the pandemic. The deli is great and they always make beautiful cakes that are tasty and inexpensive. I love the coupons and the clothing section, particularly shoes. You can find great bargains. For me and the way my kids eat and go through other things, this membership is well worth it.

I use the curbside pickup often. They are fast and efficient. I like the lunchmeat from the deli, it is a good price but they are slow. I try to go when there is no line at deli otherwise you will be waiting forever. Store always clean but prices have gone up. We have a Sams Card and Costco card but shop at BJs a lot due to location ( close to house).

Terrible customer service they need to be more orderly about purchasing and knowledge on what payments they accept and do not accept. Even the manager said they didn’t accept the payment but they accepted it online at the same store.

I've been a BJ's member for a long time and I'm not planning on renewing my membership. Prices have gone up drastically and stock is very limited. A membership cost $55 a year and you get harassed as you walk through the store by vendors who rent space in the store. Yes, you are literally paying to be harassed. I used to buy my tires there as well but since they no long do alignments or other service there is no point as you have to go elsewhere to get the alignment done. You can get anything BJs sells across the street at Walmart for the same price or cheaper without the harassment or membership fee.

Emily was really nice and outgoing and she helped me save money on my bill even though I didn't have any on me she helped scan a coupon n my total was completely different n when u are trying to pinch every penny that really makes a big difference n deal to my customer service needs so thanks Emily the cashier hopefully I see u again 😊

Stopped in tonight and freezers had been down for about 30 min. Due to an outage in the area. I was told by store personnel that no refrigerated products could be sold due to the outage. This makes no sense as freezer will hold for long periods of time. This store becomes more and more unaccommodating all the time. The manager was curt and obviously unfamiliar with refrigerated goods. Blamed her stance on be a regional food safety manager. Store staff was rude and unconcerned about customer service. Been a member here for almost 20 years they could care less.

Always liked BJs and have shopped here with my family for many years now. Store stays well stocked and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. The prices are in line and like most places shop the coupons they provide and manufacturers coupons to ensure you get the best deals.

Website says gas pumps open 6:30 every day.Made a special trip on sunday morning only to find out new sunday hours start at 9:00 on sundays.Thanks for nothing !!!

I've been to this store severL times when they had no scootes available. The person there says waiting for parts. I am handicapped and need a scooter to shop there. I may need to go to another store from now on. Or I could call and report it to the government.

used to love this club but was in the other day and doubt I will be back. Prices have went up through the roof. Container of in store brand cashews was 20 bucks! Prices on every item went up virtually 5 bucks since just last year and they were up a lot then.

Did a curbside pick up order because I have 3 kids from 6months to 5 years old and us parents knows how that goes. I realized when I got home I didnt get my case of chocolate milk or pack of hot dogs. So I called but I had to come in with my receipt to prove it which I get but I haven't had the time I'm so busy so i really just feel irritated because I paid for stuff I'm never going to see 😐 should of got something out of this

We just there we had over $300 worth of things to purchase. There were only self check. I pay to shop there and I don't think I should have to check out my things. There were numerous people with the same feeling.when we inquired the man working the self check out got told us to get out. I said I was not going to renew my membership he said good we don't need you. Great customer service.

Love their meat department. Great deli meats and cheesealso.. Very good pricesGood selection of everday needs. Plenty of carts and parking. Negative thoughtsYou can't always depend on finding items you want. They quit carrying certain products you really like.Plus it was always nice to stop at the snack bar... But they got rid of it. PLEASE BRING IT BACK. miss the ability to get something to drink after shopping.

Went to the York location today (just joined last weekend and this was 3rd time there this week), the deli workers were so slow and wrapped up in talking to themselves about their off work escapades...just unprofessional.I'm not one to do reviews but this not acceptable in afrom a management position . We also are member's of Sam's Club🤔

Store was always clean and mostly stocked. The issue I had was with their my perks card. Signed up to use for a purchase, was approved but not able to use it because "the number that came from the credit card company wouldn't work in the computer" so I told them to cancel it and now a few months later I receive a bill with a renewal fee that I never authorized on a card that was supposed to be cancelled. Now I have to pay this renewal fee because if I don't I'll be paying a late fee through the bank as it takes "2-3 billing cycles for the membership fee to be refunded". Do yourself a favor and deal with someplace less shady.

The tire center used to be pretty good. But with the recent changes its made in its policies it's just not worth getting tires from BJ's anymore. After the first 12 months of buying your tires.if something happens to them like getting a nail or whatever damage.They prorate them my wife had to pay $80 to get her tire replaced and it was only 3 months after the first year. So yeah maybe the warranty is okay the first year after that it's a scam. Also be very careful with the tires you buy. because if they get discontinued and not made anymore you're out of luck. you might end up having to replace one tire. it'll be different from the other three.

Customer service is nonexistence. We've had major issues with cell phone service we purchased there as well as issues when we tried to schedule and purchase tires. The slight benefit of being a member here is not good enough to put up with the negatives. I will be discontinuing our membership.

Rude employees. No cashiers, but still have to pay a membership fee. Lots of items priced the same as any other store. I do not feel I should have to check myself out if I pay a membership fee. Witnessed rideness to another older woman and then to my husband. The employee was over the top rude.

You take time to cut out your coupons and drive half hour to get there and half of what you want they are out of stock. Then to go to make a claim at the customer service desk and they cancel your membership, according to them by mistake, to pickup a couple of gas coupons for gas discount and when you make a line to pump your gas, guess what, you found out your membership has been cancel. Manager really doesn’t know what she is doing with items and employees. What should I do? I’m losing money in a club that is not stock properly and computers are not configured correctly and employees are not paying attention or not properly trained.

Called to see if someone could verify if they had any toddler/kids snow suits & immediately the women I was speaking to said “I think we only have kids and adults snow suits but let me check”, min later said she doesn’t see that they have any toddler suits. She said but we do have kids and adult snow suits & I said ok great what sizes do the snow suits start at & the women literally laughed in my face and said “I don’t know but I could MAYBE get someone to check for you” I immediately was think like your kidding me right, what kind of customer service is this?! So she didn’t bother checking for me. Won’t be getting my service..

I was at BJ’s today to get my grill tank filled with propane. The sign outside the fill gate read$11.50 for members. When I went to pay I was charged $13.83. When I asked about the price, I was told it was over the gals. Nowhere was there a gal price listed. I went in to the service desk to ask about and was told the same. Then I asked to speak to a manager, and got told the same. They said that was the price for a 20lb tank. And nowhere does it say that on the price that is posted.I kinda feel like that is a bait and switch. If they sell it by the gal. They should post that price.
