What a wonderful experience! The food is excellent, a beautiful historical building, the bar area is the old-fashioned bar back. The staff and patrons are very friendly, the type of place that no one is a stranger.The family that owns the hotel are great. They make everyone feel like a part of the family.They annual fundraiser they host for the Humane Society is outstanding, with a great basket raffle all to help our 🐕 🐈 pets. These folks at the Winber Hotel should have an extra star in each category plus one more for community, and in that category, they deserve big 🌟. I look forward to eating there often. My personal thanks and appreciation to a Community Treasure!!!

Stopped in after running around at a soccer game. The fried pierogies were awesome; crispy on the outside and light and smooth on the inside. A bit of that garlic Parmesan flavor too! Woo! I also had the surf n turf cheesesteak. That was pretty good. Real soft roll, lots of flavor from the onions and peppers. The beer selection is pretty good as well. Had a Bells Oberon and some sort of Rainbow Sherbet sour (at the bartenders recommendation). Both were unique and balanced. Will come back here when I’m in the area.

Just had the crabcake sandwich for lunch and it was outstanding! The fries were also freshly prepared and were hot and crispy. I highly recommend. Glad this place is here in windber 🙂Parking: Large lot behind the building or street parking in front.

I never thought I'd have food worse than I did when I was younger! I was wrong. I went out with Lisa for dinner! She said how great the food was as the staff what lie. My bake potato was at best 5 hours old and as cold as blacken from setting so long and the dinner with butter corn and fish wow so nasty and cold the staff was embarrassed after I had to prove it they said. It doesn't matter and the waitress was worthless as the food and staff if you want the worst food and service in windber pa. Go here if not stay away !!Parking: If you find a place without walking ton half is good

Went on a holiday weekend but service was fast and good. I got the steak and cheese with fries, came out hot and juicy. My friend got the NY steak with a baked potato and broccoli and said it was really good and tender. I would recommend and eat here again.

Wow, this is a cool place. A fun restored-hotel building with a casual bar/resturant atmosphere. They have a rotation of craft beers, a well rounded menu, a back patio and weekly entertinment. My goto order is the fried perogies, an order or wings, and a bucket of beer. I stop in whenever I'm in town.

My visit was during the Bomb Cyclone so there were not very many people here. The bartender and staff are not overly friendly to strangers. While there were almost no customers in the bar, nobody approached our table when I arrived later than the rest of my party to ask if I would like a drink. Could be better.

This was our go to for years. Date night in 2014 -2020. Food was always great. Specials were exciting to try. We stopped going 2 years ago because the food and service did a 180. Tonight we went back. Service was great. Our waitress was on point! Food was not close to what they put out before? I miss the great food and beer they used to always have there.

My wife Tammy and I had very lovely evening last night. Starting with supper and drinks at the majestic Windber Hotel. Our waitress Jackie made our evening so relaxing and pleasant. Taking our orders of food and spirits. The white pizza and wings were delish. She even though was waiting on four or more tables made sure to stop by to see if we needed anything. The fat heads holly jolly was very good. Thanks for a lovely evening to you and your staff.

One star for the drinks. They need to remove the Chesapeake chicken from their menu. It is literally two grilled chicken breasts with a 1oz scoop of crab meat and a slice of provolone heated in a microwave…. Not impressed.

Had 2 visits, both in the same night and they were well worth it. First we stopped for dinner before a show across the street. And the second visit was during the intermission for some drinks and had a great time. (Halloween night of course) Food was great and its a great place to try new beers, they have a large variety.

Haven't been there in a long time. I always loved going there because the service & the food was excellent. The service & the food are still excellent. Our waitress waited on us right away & I ordered the Puguh pizza & chicken fingers & my son ordered a club sandwich. The pizza was baked to perfection & chicken fingers were nice and juicy. My son said his sandwich was 👍also. It was Hugh. I have to say Windber Hotel keep up the good work.

Just had lunch here. Really enjoyed my meal. The staff was friendly and attentive.Can't wait to come back some time for dinner and beer. Looked like a great selection of brews.

Usually great service, great game room for the kids. Food is always amazing, definitely reccomend wing nights and the wraps. Good options for customized burgers as well. Trivia night is also fun, great to catch up with old friends. Sometimes food is a bit slow, but that is not a large issue.

Best place in town for a night out, drinks, or just a good time. They always have live music, drinks are reasonably priced, and staff are very friendly. Food is solid but not terribly exciting, I’d describe it as solid bar fare with a few regional specialities.

Best beer bar in the area. I really appreciate the focus on American craft beers. When there's so many incredible beers being brewed right here in the United States, I have no idea why anybody would send their money overseas for imports.

We eat here and get to go often. Always very good. The funnel fries are amazing and the beer selection is always interesting. Monday night trivia is a great time.
