My son was going to his senior prom. And he wanted to use another tuxedo place. But when I called them they said it would be a pretty long wait. So I Googled local businesses that we could check out . And Top Hat is right near my home. So we came in , the staff was friendly listening to want we wanted but was able to provide some amazing choices. My son looked AMAZING in his tuxedo!! So thank you to the amazing staff!!!!

I haven't been to too many Kohl's stores. I have never been to this one before at all. I did find it a little confusing as far as how the checkout lines worked. Very nice arrangement of women's clothing, cute and stylish for spring and summer. Some of the prices were a little high for me but I was able to find a good deal. The area by the fitting rooms could use a little bit of organization. it was just a bunch of confused people standing around.

Extremely long wait, very understaffed especially for the prom season, no system for customers dropping off, customers that made appointments, walk ins and suits ready to be picked up and tried on. I had to wait over an hour to be helped for my son’s suit that was ready to be tried on, customers that came in after were helped because they “made appointments”. They need to work on a better system or hire more staff.

I’m incredibly disappointed with the Top Hat management team. I invest a lot of money into quality clothes, normally from Men’s Wearhouse. I was referred to Top Hat by my brother in law to purchase a suit for his wedding. The team was incredibly friendly and I was eager to purchase my first suit from them, which I found to be a very fair price.The issues started with the tailor. They completely messed up the hem on the pants, and there was scuff marks on the jacket. They also removed the barcodes on the items making them non-returnable per their “refund policy”.When I went to the store to make the return, the assistant manager who was friendly when selling me the suit, was not very helpful with my concerns and barely took the time of day to speak to me.Needless to say, I’ll never wear the suit. I am making sure all of my professional contacts and friends stick with stores who have reputable return policies and pride themselves on customer satisfaction.

Literally just had some AMAZING help from Jasmine Davis, she patiently helped me out with measurements since I was absolutely clueless on these things. She always had a smile and was soooooo sweet and kind. While waiting for my pants to finish up, hearing and seeing her interact with all the other customers the same way is awesome, if everyone was half as amazing as her it would be a very beautiful world. Will definitely be coming back after the wedding to buy some more shirts because her service was that awesome. Thank you Jasmine! Also the gentlemen in the back hemming my pants was also super respectful and nice, I didn’t interact with him as much but he seemed just as awesome as Jasmine.

Edit: this was previously a one star review but I was contacted by a manager who asked about my experience and helped process a refund. Although it was disappointing for the event, their follow up was professional and thorough.Multiple groomsmen in our party had issues with sizes or missing buttons. The pants I was given when told to come pick up the rental were dirty, and I discovered on the day of the wedding that there was a big rip in the back of the shirt that I didn't see when trying it on. I was told I would get a partial refund but have not yet. The store itself said I would but could not tell me how much nor when I would be refunded. I also was charged a late fee despite being explicitly told I could return the suit Sunday. I will certainly never choose this place again.

OMGOSH - Rob was A.MAZING (punctuation intended)! My Aunt and I were immediately welcomed by the store manager whom did not turn us away (like several stores did prior) after sharing her store did not carry what were looking for. She instead accepted the challenge by focusing on what could be done and shared our concept vision with Rob. HE RAN WITH IT FROM THERE! My Aunt and I vocalized our experience after visiting a store prior to Top Hat and Rob immediately knew what store we were talking about. He took the time to understand the why behind the concept we presented and made the appropriate recommendations. Because of the experience with Rob, Top Hat Formalwear gained lifetime customers and a plethora of praises to be shared with EVERYONE we know! They promised me they were good and could get the job done. They meet and exceeded expectations. My Groomsmen and I looked amazing. They even got my best man who came in from out of state the day before my wedding, fitted and kitted perfectly. Polite, professional, and skilled. They even have a doggo on staff to keep stress levels in check. You can even pet him if you want.

My fiancé and I had a great experience with Kat and Rob! They were so helpful and patient with us trying to pick out my fiancé’s and groomsmen’s suits. They answered all of our questions and scheduled a groom try on so we can come back and actually see my fiancé in the suit. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing experience!!! My son and I came in for his prom, McKayla( I hope I’m spelling that right) greeted us and was a huge help all the way through!! She found a suite that contrasted his girlfriends iridescent dress PERFECTLY!!! She went above and beyond and was so personable and helpful! Everyone is so nice and willing to help, they make you feel like an appreciated customer for sure!! I would highly recommend them to anyone.. they’re knowledgeable, fast, affordable, and outgoing!! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Way to over priced to rent a tux, the Pants where a joke they went to size me for the pants instead of giving me pants that where my size they gave me pants that slide up and down sizes so I don’t know what the point of sizing someone is if the pants aren’t the exact size they should be, the pants had holes in pockets that I dropped stuff out of. I asked others in the wedding party and they said there’s had no holes and there pants where fitted right for them

Top Hat is a wonderful place to go to if you need any type of suit. You can rent or buy them. They have the most friendly and helpful staff. Today my mom and dad came in to look for a pastel type suit and we picked a suit out really easy with the staff members. I would recommend anyone to go there. The environment is feels clean and organized.

Top Hat is a local, smaller, family owned tuxedo shop. First and most important of all, these guys truly care about providing the finest looking and best fitted tuxedos. I had several people from our wedding party who were from out of state but Top Hat took the measurements from these guys who got fitted at their own local shops. Top Hat diligently worked with us to get everything right and made few adjustments quickly in the store! Everyone was extremely pleased with the slim fitted gray tuxedos.I personally thought the price was high for a rental but I quickly realized that’s how it is everywhere.Overall, we were very happy with Top Hat’s service and were happy to contribute to a local company such as this. I definitely recommend this tuxedo shop.

Before our wedding my wife and I spent a lot of time trying to shop around for the best deal on the specific tux we wanted and we found the best deal by far at Top Hat. Additionally, the service was amazing, the staff was accommodating and knowledgeable. They worked hard to make our experience pleasant. On top of the great price they already offered to rent, they gave us a large discount because of the size of our bridal party, which we then were able to pass to my groomsmen. Being apart of a wedding can become expensive so this was greatly appreciated by them. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tux, whether it be for prom or a wedding. And I have, my brother is getting married next month and I referred him to Top Hat and he has also been very pleased with the price and service there. They have a wide selection of suits and tuxes to choose from and they all look great!

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Makaela is wonderful! She’s got a great sense of humor and made the experience fun and stress-free. When choosing a tux for my son’s prom, she offered many suggestions and options and she put together a suit that complimented his Prom date’s dress perfectly! He received so many compliments on the white camo vest and tie that he wore. It was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend Top Hat.

Bigger lady at the desk is very rude/ignorant…Thinks she has a say in what to order. (It’s like going out for a Burger and the waitress arguing that you should get a chicken sandwich)Store messed up several of the groomsman and grooms sizes for various items.Store forgot to send the order for the Tux’s in and had to bring our business elsewhere to get what we wanted, done properly, and on time.Highly DO NOT recommend.

Top Hat Formal did a great job with my wedding tuxedos. The groom and the groomsmen all looked great and everything fit perfectly and comfortably. The bridesmaids dresses were a pale blue/gray mix (called Mist) and Top Hat tirelessly worked to make sure we could find the matching color for the groomsmen vests and pocket squares. We are so happy we cancelled our original tuxedo choice and decided to go with Top Hat as they made us feel welcomed and important.

I highly recommend Top Hat. Prom season can be stressful, but they made it easy, and accomodated to my every need and worry. I expected the inital fitting to take forever to find the tux that matched my girlfriend's dress the best, but they had the perfect tux on display. The fitting was extremely quick, the man who helped me knew what he was doing and can do it quick. I would say it took 30 minutes to find the tux and be fitted. I just had my final fitting today, and everything fit perfectly. Shoes and all. Everything was included in my rental but socks and underwear. I was out in about 15 minutes for my second fitting, and the tux was available for pick up a week before prom. I highly recommend this place, and will continue to do so.

Had a few horrible experiences with this place. First for my own wedding when they switched my tuxedo shirt with my best man's and we both had the wrong shirt for the day.(wonderful experience) Second for my dad's wedding when my tux shirt had a red stain on it on the back, and now finally with my best friend's wedding where they didn't have my jacket when we went to pick up the tuxedo after we were told it was ready, so we had to make a second trip right before the wedding. Also, we we're going to be a day late because we were stuck at work for our return. My wife called and spoke to someone who said it was alright and we wouldn't get a late charge as long as we brought it back by 5 the following day. The following day the very rude woman who works there hit us with a 40$ late charge.I will never give this place business again. Horrible service.
