Words can’t begin to describe how truly grateful we are for Alexis and the team at Whitehall’s Petco! The only groomers who can handle our boys! Thor and Loki are a handful, but Alexis is able to get them groomed! This is the only place I go to get my dogs groomed! We are coming all the way from Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Both dogs have severe anxiety, but somehow the team at Petco are able to handle these 2! Here are some pics! If you need a reliable, caring, trustworthy team to get your pet groomed, please don’t hesitate to visit the staff at Petco! ♥️♥️

I was a little nervous about taking our dogs to a "box store" for grooming, but they badly needed it, and there weren't any appointments available at the other local grooming salons.I was pleasantly surprised. All three of our dogs got great cuts, along with a good bath, nail trimming, and removing the hair from the ears (for our poodle mix). All three were calm and happy when we picked them up.

We have taken Noah to Petco many times in his 2 yrs of life. I do not know why his grooming haircut came out so poor this time. On his face , one side is cut short the way I asked it to be but the other side has a very noticeable hunk of hair about 1 inch or more longer than the other side. It is very noticeable and also very choppy looking. Now for his ears. His ears on previous visits were always equally cut and looked very nice. This time I have no idea what happened but each ear is different and each ear looks like it was cut with fingernail clippers. They are different lengths and all choppy looking. His ears were not cleaned. They looked and smelled like ear wax. I did them myself at home. Under his chin I asked that it be cut short. You can barely notice that it was even touched. On the positive side his long nails are perfect and I thank her so much for that. Oh, sorry one more observation. All other times when we got him groomed he had an absolutely wonderful smell after his bath that would smell so good for 2 days. That’s one of the first things I noticed. I picked him up to smell him and I smelled NOTHING. He just smelled like a dog. A clean dog but Noah lives in our apt with us. We have never taken him out. This , unfortunately, is not a good neighborhood to go out at noon and I am not kidding. We hate it here and are looking for another place that we can live and afford to eat as well. No luck yet. Well this is all I have to say about Noah’s grooming. It must have just been one of those days for her but we wdig ill be not be returning . I do think the price was way too high for how he looked when he was finished. My fiancé tipped her a $10 tip. I sure would not have done that either. I asked him why he gave her a $10 tip. He said he just felt sorry for her because Noah never looked like that before. She must have been by herself .Kate Walsh

Rachel- the groomer was amazing. BEYOND AMAZING. Our doodles get nervous with haircuts, she took her time. The dogs had some matting. She educated us on what to do moving forward to prevent and was so sweet to them. They were cared for while at Petco grooming and I love that.

When I came in the woman at the register of the store was super nice and helpful (it was my first time and I came into the store entrance by accident) she helped me with my dog because me dog gets scared in stores and she wouldn't walk. Then in grooming, the groomer was also very kind and helpful. I had my dog's vaccine records but it didn't have her rabies listed, so she called the vet for me as if it was no problem at all. When I came to pick up my dog it was a different girl at the grooming desk, but she was also very friendly. I had actually had my doubts about using a commercial pet store for grooming but honestly the service was wonderful, everyone was nice, and she did a great job with my dog. We will definitely be coming back!

I LOVE how good my old dog looks when she comes back from her deshedding treatment. She looks 5 years younger and 10 pounds lighter! She also loves to come see the stylists here every few months. Can't wait for her next spa day!

Groomers were rude, disrespectful, uncaring, unprofessional I caught them gossiping about customers out in the open on 3rd attempt to get 2nd grooming at this location my poor dog was fighting not to go with groomer. No it’s not that he doesn’t like to be groomed bcuz he loves groomers at Bethlehem location.

Our pup has been going to Petco for grooming for over two years now and we have been more than happy with their services. We don't expect a highly stylized look; we just want to keep Pumpkin healthy and well groomed in a safe accessable environment at a decent price. Petco delivers!

Groomer was fantastic and handled my Husky well. I would not use Petco for anything else however. Staff in store are rude, lazy and uneducated. I have been there multiple times for product and have always left and went to pet supplies plus where I am always greeted and there is always someone willing to help. Grooming GREAT! Store and employees are horrible! FIVE STARS FOR RACHEL IN GROOMING! 2 STARS FOR THE REST OF THE STORE. UPDATE: Got Rachel again for grooming. She gets the store another star!

Adrianne styled my 8-year-old Pug named Aja. She has always treated her very well and Aja looks forward to the 'spa day' at Petco. When I pick Aja up after her time at the salon, she is always clean, dry and happy. That makes me feel great and confident in Aja's treatment of kindness and care.
