With two cats, two dogs & always a random stray that needs medical attention / I feel like I spend more time here than I do at any other professional facility. We came to this vet after Dr Lewis at Muncy Vet Center retired & his replacement was terrible.The team here at Susquehanna Trail are awesome & care about your pets. Prices are a bit steep / but the other vet options are just not worth saving a few bucks.

We have been bringing our cat here for a couple of years now. It is consistently a positive experience. It is always clean, and the staff are very courteous. The doctors are top-notch as well.

My less than 1 year old German Shepherd was there twice for blood work, once not drugged and once drugged. The first time I can understand but when he’s drugged and under complete control and you can’t locate a vein successfully so he needed to be stuck 10 different times within 5 minutes to STILL not get blood. The incompetency is something I won’t let my dog suffer through. I’d probably train your staff in working with larger breed animals because this was a terrible experience.

We had our 17 year old dog there for evaluation . Such compassion shown by not only the vet but all employees. Tough decision by us after being given honest feedback. The doctor was so gentle, her passing couldn't have be handled any better.We did not have a comparable experience prior at the our previous vet. We are not ready to adopt another dog yet, but when we do, we know exactly where we will take any and all of our future pets. Truly professional, caring people. We will recommend this facility to all of our family and friends.

Great staff. Very patient and kind with both the patients and their humans.I have a handi-capable cat (he has no eyes) who also has seizures. He mostly thinks everyone at the vet is trying to murder him so we do everything we can to limit his visits but ensure his care and when he does have to go in the staff works really hard to make it as easy as they can for him. I especially appreciate that after the medical stuff is done they cuddle him and make up with him so he knows it isn't all bad.I have another cat that was an older feral kitten when he was rescued so he is shy and more fearful of humans. They are super patient with him.I also find they are honest about options and costs. I don't feel like they try to upsell and they are respectful of my decisions for care. My cats are strictly indoor and so they don't try to push the preventatives for fleas and ticks especially since they could be bad for the one with seizures.

The facility is clean, nice size exam rooms. The vet tech was friendly and helpful went above and beyond to help make my nervous dog relax. The Vet was fantastic about explaining things and answered all questions. They don’t make you feel rushed.

I've been taking my dogs to Susquehanna Trail Animal Hospital for the past year and a half, and I couldn't be happier with their service. The staff is professional, scheduling is a breeze, and they provide excellent care for my dogs. From routine check-ups to surgical procedures, they've been exceptional. The facilities are clean and well-equipped, and the vets are knowledgeable and compassionate. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care in the area.

I noticed early this morning that Minnie was limping when she was ready to go outside and she had been in her crate the whole night from 11 p m to 7 a m. She was reluctant to go out to run like she loves to. I examined her left hind quarter to find that her paw was inflamed and bone was exposed. I washed her paw and used a + d ointment and called the Animal Hospital. She was able to get into see the vet late afternoon. I have taken Minnie to Susquehanna Trail Hospital since her first exam at 8 weeks. Hopefully she will heal. I have confidence in this veterinarian.Mrs Eileen Stiadle

We have been with Dr. Wilhelm for about 9 years now. He is an amazing vet. He cares very much for the animals that he takes care of. At one point we wouldn't see anyone, but him, over time we have realized that every vet that works there is just fantastic. His wife is also an amazing vet! Every single person that works here is simply the best! They are all kind, caring, funny, and treat you like your part of the family. I don't trust easily when it comes to my sweet babies. ( I had one pass because of a vet) I do trust everyone here. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they would do anything to keep them safe, while in their care. Thank you all for everything that you do each day! Our pups say thank you too!

This is a wonderful establishment for care and specialty care for your critters. The team is very informative, friendly and genuinely passionate about animal care.They suggested medications for my pup Chance and even asked if I wanted to shop around for a cheaper ‘script, prior to filling it for me. The instructions/uses provided for vaccines and other medications is very easy to understand and they really take a lot of worry away about animals’ care.The building itself was very clean, organized and I’m just in awe over the hand-made counter top at the reception desk. You can tell the owner really cares about the comfort of not just the pets, but also their owners.

Dr. Wilhelm was so thorough during our introductory visit. He made us feel welcome, gave us great tips to help resolve some behavioral issues with our puppy, and was extremely reasonably priced for his services. Everyone treated us like family and was very friendly. We won't be going anywhere else for all of our pet care needs!

I absolutely love this place. Every time it is quality care that isn't obscenely priced. There was only one vet there I did not like and they put a note in my chart that I refuse to go to him. They are very thorough and excellent at communicating.

I cannot say enough good things about this staff. My dogs actually enjoy coming to the vet now. Any time we have ever had issues, they get us in the same day. Dr Wilhelm and staff are the real MVPs always so informative, comforting, and knowledgeable. Wouldn't trust our pups with anyone else!

Full disclosure: The Vet is my son. Now as an, objective at all costs, person, Dr. Wilhelm probably added months if not years to Jacks, my circus dogs life. Jack was having some pretty significant seizures. My local vet is fine and very competent, but they are not my son. Tristan accurately diagnosed and recommended treatment that my vet did not. The results speak for themselves. Jack lying comfortably at my feet while I write is in no distress. He's getting up there in years and the old saying "There's no dog like an old dog" is very true in his case. Jack spent his youth entertaining my family and the community with visits to local nursing homes. His old age, thanks to Dr. Wilhelm, will be spent napping, sleeping, lounging, and staring at me with those eyes.Thanks Dr. Wilhelm and Susquehanna Trail Animal Hospital.

The Best Vet ever I have been ⭐️I have a Shiba dog which had a horrible experience from another vet, but Dr.Kurt who Is an amazing doctor fixed everything!He explained me everything very well, I learned a lot things from him. I think Dr.Kurt is the most knowledgeable vet ever I met. He concerns the patient and find out the best solution .My dog was scratching his face and body so much before but after gave him medicine , he stops scratching!!The vet technician was also very nice, she gave me extra copies for dog insurance which I didn’t ask. They have very good service!Clinic also very clean.Highly recommend this vet😊

We just moved to the area, so I have only taken my dog Oakley here once for a routine visit so far, but I feel confident I chose a good vet! They were very thorough and explained everything to me in detail when they brought him back outside to me. Sometimes you can just tell when people care and I felt my dog was in good hands. He means so much to me and it's really important to find a good vet, so I will continue taking him here.
